Amazing work! I ordered my bridesmaids dress in a size 8 and when it came in, it was a size 16. It looked like a bedsheet on me and it was a very bright yellow so there was no hiding how terrible the fit was before bringing it in to Stitches and having it altered. I got amazing compliments on it all night. The fit was incredible and I am so grateful that she was able to get it done so quickly. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and quality of work. I will definitely be back and I have recommended her to a few people since.

Judy was a gem to work with! Stitches Tailor Shop was recomended to me by my sister following her August wedding. For her dress, Judy managed to seamlessly take the dress down from a size 12 to a size 6. After I watched her success with my sister, I knew she was my first choice for my own wedding. I was not sure what I was looking for in my own fitting, however, after a quick once over, Judy knew exactly what parts of the dress needed to be adjusted to make my lovely dress a total knock out. The alterations were done quickly and were very cost effective. The day was a huge success and there were no issues with the dress, which is more than I can say about many of my past experiences. When the big day was over I took both my beloved dress and my husbands suit in for dry cleaning. Judy continued her excellent service, remembered who I was, and asked about my sister. I would recomend this location to all of my friends and family!

I have had many great experiences at Stitches Tailor Shop, and am now a customer for life! My first experience was bringing in a ballroom dress for alterations before a New Year’s Eve function I was attending. I’m quite picky and somewhat of a perfectionist, so I’m extremely careful with who I allow to alter my belongings. Judy took her time to address my needs, and custom fit the dress to my body shape, to boot she had the alterations completed in a timely fashion although given a tight deadline!! The dress had to basically be taken apart and re-stitched to a much smaller size and somehow Judy made that happen, the dress is absolutely flawless. After learning that Judy did not only alter clothing but had a vast knowledge in other areas of tailoring, I decided to have her customize curtains for my newly built home. Again, she underpromised and over delivered leaving not only my home, but my place of peace looking flawless just as she did with the first dress I brought to her. I would highly recommend this business, especially if you are a perfectionist like myself who has your clothing altered regularly.

I loved this place!! So friendly. The jacket I brought in was horrible I ripped it and sure need a good dry cleaning. I had my jacket in a box from moving for a year and let me tell you when I picked my jacket up it was BRAND new rip was fixed and it smelled new. I was soo happy and honestly it was cheap.. My wedding dress alterations were done by Stitches Tailor Shop, from the very beginning the vision I had was totally understood. The dress itself was amazing but needed quite a few alterations because I had lost a significant amount of weight unexpectedly a week before the wedding! I left feeling frusterated and taken advantage of. First off, the owner was not very polite with me and made a big deal about the stitching I wanted done and kept sighing dramatically. This should have been my first sign to leave. Instead I decided to give her a chance. After she charged me a rediculous amount for what I wanted, it was going to take her over 2 weeks to complete the job. When I finally picked up my item, what was done of it- was poorly done. She did not do as I asked or how it was pinned when I originally was there and told her what I wanted. She did something else of which was advised by me. On top of that, she did not fully stitch what was asked. Please do not go here, I am so disappointed in her work. Do not waste your time or money or make the mistake I did by going here.

I am pleased to rate this with five stars and would give more if I could. Used their services a number of times and the service and quality has been 100%. Speaking of service, just recently as I could not get away from work to pick up my items, the owner had delivered them to my place of work on Saturday night, nevertheless. The lopsided ratio of review between 5 stars and 1 star, caught my attention and I decided to read through it. Clearly, someone who was unsatisfied with the service got a bunch of her friends, who probably have never been to the business itself, to post a one star review with no merit whatsoever. These people do not understand how to resolve an issue between a business and a customer. Posting negative ratings just because you’re a friend of a friend, is not the right way to treat anyone. So if you are a potential customer and are thinking of using this business, disregard the negative ratings and go right ahead with confidence as I am putting my stamp of approval to be 100%.

I have a jacket that's worth about $599. it has two little zippers for pockets and one big zipper for the front. The zipper stopped working for me. I Phone up a lot of tailor shops to get it fixed and they told me you would cost me boat $150. I phoned up stitches tailor shop and they told me it would cost me $80 I said cool. I took it down there and I got it back in about a week and they did such a good job I couldn't even tell the difference. I phoned them back up and I told him I was very impressed with their job.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Long story kind of short... I had to buy a new wedding dress only one week before my wedding. They do not listen or respect how the customer feels at all. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and I am honestly scarred from the experience I had. She left my wedding dress until the absolute last day I needed it to be fully ready by and it still was too big and looked very unflattering. I was very upset and unhappy with my dress the day it was supposed to be ready. She also charged me upfront $500 because it was a difficult job. Part of that reason was because the bottom of the dress was lace and it was going to be difficult to hem, but she ended up hemming the dress from the waist area instead without my concent which also shifted the detailing of the dress and changed the look of the dress. She refused to give me any refund. I am now out $1200.00 because the dress isn't fully fixable. The zipper also got stuck when I put it on to show my family how bad it was, I was stuck for maybe 15 minutes and the dress ripped a bit trying to get it off. I will also say that I will not be surprised if the owner replies to this denying everything because she is very stubborn and she would not listen to me. And I will also mention that yes I got very upset with her and used rude language, but I'm pretty sure a lot of brides would do the same in this situation. There was also another very unhappy customer when I was in there as well. I never wish this experience upon anyone, especially a bride one week before her wedding. UPDATE: The owner removed her original response to my review and completely changed it. Her original response was not very professional in my opinion. I do not appreciate you removing your original response to make yourself look better. Also, if she really wanted to resolve the issue, she would refund my money. Please just own up to what you have done wrong.

I highly recommend this place of business to anybody who needs any kind of alterations to any garments. This business is located across from Royal Alexandra Hospital not too faraway from the Downton area. All services that I had done were performed in a timely manner . The owner and her staff are very knowledgeble in their field and give a great advise on all your repairs and alterations. The business hours are very convenient to anyone and they are also open on Saturdays. I was very pleased with all the alterations that were done on my numerous evening gowns.

The shop owner was incredibly responsive and did excellent work on all the garments I brought in for dry cleaning and mending. When I noticed that only one cuff of my beloved cardigan was repaired, Judy immediately agreed to mend the other and did excellent work. You can't even tell and my cardigan looks like new! I also had my winter coats dry cleaned. Judy explained the price and my coats came back completely refreshed. She is also incredibly affordable. As I try to mend over buy new, Judy will become an integral part of this process!
