Had my 15 year old daughter's grade 9 graduation dress altered. I was very impressed with the alteration. The dress was lace and fussy. My mom who sews well could not adjust it. They did a great job. Price was right. And the service was good.

I highly recommend this tailor. I needed a gown hemmed for a wedding I’m attending in June. Of course it’s a busy time for most tailors since it’s wedding & grad season. I received the dress in under 2 weeks & the work done was good quality. I experienced great customer service too! Raymond was very nice & understanding after I lost the ticket needed to pickup the dress. It was very affordable as well! I paid about $45 to get the dress altered, but I was happy with this Since most places quoted me almost $60-80 for the same work. I was really happy with my experience here as most of the other shops I had been to had been very preoccupied with other orders or came off as disrespectful when I asked questions about the service, how much, etc.

Possibly the worst tailor in Edmonton. Took 2 pairs of jeans to get tailored. Waited 4 days to get them back and they were the same length as before. Try on your jeans before picking them up, I made the mistake of not trying them on at the store. Raymond's a nice guy, but service is 2/10.

Despite the name "Raymond's Menswear Tailor" on the front of the store, they have suit rentals, dry cleaning, men and ladies alterations. I came here to have my dresses taken in, The cost was really decent, about $20-$25 per piece. The cost of hemming is less than their competitors as well, quoted $10. The store was being run by a well dressed asian man who was very pleasant to deal with. The tailor herself came out to make sure the sizing was measured right. After picking up the dresses, I am extremely happy with the quality of work and customer service. I will be coming here for future services.

Just over a week until my wedding and didn’t realize my pants needed an alteration because I thought they were just wrinkly. Took my pants into Raymond’s after google reviews and 3 other tailors turning me away humming and hawwing stating it was “too much work and be too expensive” Raymond knew what to do right away and said it’s pretty late to do these alterations but he’ll help me out. This guy did an UNREAL job considering what he had to do and the price was way more than reasonable and way below what I expected. I’ve found my new tailor without a doubt. Thanks again Raymond!
