I have shopped at many of the trendier boutique establishments for business and formal wear over the years, and I thought I was receiving reasonable service in the general sense. It wasn't until I visited this particular Moore's that I realized how much better the shopping experience can be. From the moment I was approached by their Wardrobe Consultant, Manoj Jain, the level of professionalism and knowledge he showed was exemplary. He listened and knew exactly what I wanted. His advice and diligence was far superior to any I've experienced elsewhere. I purchased 2 suits, two pairs of shoes, a couple of shirts and a belt. Within an hour of arriving he had shown me pieces from their selection, measured me, and rang me through without being pushy, or wasting my time. A truly perfect experience. I will most definitely be returning to see him for any future purchases. Plain and simple, the man's a pro; truly an asset to the company.

I needed a tall and slim jacket to cover my suit from the outdoors. I ran in and in 10 minutes they had a jacket for me that fit nicely and was half off! I was out the door afterwards and in a big hurry. Staff took excellent care of me, they understood that we wanted to be in and out quick and the manager took great care of us. 2 staff members helped go through their racks until they found a coat that fitted perfectly and matched my criteria. Honestly I haven't had much luck with Moore's in the past but wow you guys blew me away. Tremendous service, keep it up.

The team at this Moores location has been the best I've ever dealt with. As an impartial shopper who has dealt with several Moores locations over the years, this new store has been a pleasant surprise. Having moved to this neck of the woods recently, I've tried both the Bayfield location and this one. Although the Bayfield location did OK, the staff here went above and beyond. John in particular has been a real professional at helping me with my custom shirts. The ladies have also been great at offering their expertise from a form and fashion perspective making sure that I'm looking good. They truly are a stellar team and I plan to continue shopping here for as long as they're the closest Moores location to me. Keep up the great work!

I would give 10 stars to Manoj if I could. My partner and I arrived at Moores and were greated within the first 30 seconds by Manoj. He was very kind and very well informed of his inventory and what would look best on my partner, he knew from memory exactly what suits were offered in a 3 piece and exactly where to find them amongst the hundreds of options being displayed. We initially went in there for one suit but were offered some incredible deals, we ended up leaving with two beautiful suits both tailored to exact size, a coat and shoes, all within budget and all within the hour. This by far was one of the most pleasent experiences I've ever encountered as a consumer and would reccomend asking for Manoj to anyone who plans on visiting Moores in South Point, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Manoj for an outstanding experience!

to you one star raters, Show up without your phone and with a purpose, focus on why your there and staff will go to the ends of the store for you, leave your kids somewhere, anywhere, maybe phone up, make an appt, so they can have an extra staff member on hand to detail your car while staff spend two hours with you pampering your ego while you haggle over a pair of grey socks and bore them with suit related stories of grandeur.........i really have to ask what do potential customers expect from staff, especially when they have to deal with attitudes portrayed in the comments. customer service is hard enough but its best described as like having sex with a gorilla, you cant really stop just because your satisfied, dont be the silverback gorilla and you wont have to rate it so low.........................i usually deal with Dan at Red deer location but was in edm area so i checked out a very busy edm south, i returned a couple months later, earlier in the day and midweek. robin/staff were fantastic, selection is minimal in my size but that is part of life.

I read the reviews and thought nothing of still trying them out. MISTAKE! I spent almost 25 minutes trying to decipher their measuring system and the way everything is organized. Finally the group of 5 staff members broke up and one left to see if I needed help. Sadly I was already headed for the door. Their fault and mistake. I spoke with the manager Luigi he seemed moderately concerned that his staff was paying more attention to themselves than their customers. I can say for sure I will NEVER BE BACK.

Skip this place and go to HBC or something else. We went to buy some clothes for a wedding. Not once did we get offered help. We got a change room ourselves. There were about 5-6 people working... Then in line we were stuck behind someone with a big order. Waited about 25 minutes and not one single employee offered to cash us out. Insanely poor customer service.

Recently decided to go to Moore's to purchase a suit for an upcoming funeral for a loved one. Manoj helped me select an excellent suit, made in Canada with a great fit and matched them well with shirt and tie combinations. Manoj ensured that I would have my suit for the funeral. Excellent service.

The staff can be a little busy which causes them to go down to 4 stars instead of 5 but there is a very large selection and lots of change rooms so it's very easy to get a good option. Monaj was exceedingly helpful in getting me fitted properly, making sure my account was up to date and even looking into getting my bonus rewards reinstated.

Booked a rental appointment for a wedding party at 7. We all arrived between 6:50 and 7. We waited around for 45 min before i had to go up to the counter to speak with someone who informed me they work on a first come first serve base. Which is fine but then whats the point of setting an appointment in the first place? Ill put it this way if you plan a dinner at a resturant and have a reservation for a set time you are expecting to be seated within 5 min of that reservation not an hour after the point. If the latter occurs youre not going to wait (we left and booked an appointment with Dirks) and you certainly will never return which now 5 men will never return to this establishment and will likely tell thier friends and family of our terrible experience.

We started out looking at rentals because my husband doesn’t wear suits but we needed one for our daughters wedding. When we realized the rental suits would not fit properly we transitioned to looking at buying a suit with alterations (quoted $390). As he stood there in the first suit, I asked what the price difference was for a custom suit (quoted $450). We quickly decided that custom would be the best route. After listening to the two female employees bicker back and for almost the entire 4 hours we walked to the cash and at this point we were exhausted and starving. The bill was $800. We were never advised of the extras and at this point we were quickly approaching the wedding so alternatives were not an option. Throughout the whole time the female employee kept saying ‘don’t worry I will make this a great price’. I expected somewhere in the range of $550-600 but $800?? She also didn’t measure properly so after the first try-on it needed major adjustments. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone and even though a couple of employees were really good, the overall the experience was so bad it didn’t recover. I wouldn’t even buy socks there again.

Long time customer of Moore’s and will be, but not at this location. Good area, clean store, okay selection. In town for business and possibly moving up. I decided to visit this location for a suit and sweaters. Looked at sweaters and decided to check my account with them for my last suit purchase. I wanted a second. While waiting at the cash to do so, one of their younger sales people suggest he measures me instead of waiting. No problem, I embraced the sales enthusiasm. He measures me and gives me my size. He was correct. After trying on a few tops in my size but not preferred colour, he then tries to suggest a smaller size. Once I disagreed and pointed out the flaws, he tells me that the jacket I was trying on may be on sale and walks off. I didn’t care, it wasn’t my size. Buddy comes back with his manager who was taking over for him. Sure... but then... The manager then asks me to put the jacket on again that was the wrong size. I decided to entertain this just to see what he’d say. I wasn’t impressed with his opinion but my decision to not purchase was already made as my time had been wasted at this point. Quick sales lesson: Direct customers are easy. I ask, you answer. I know what I want, give it to me and you'll get a commission. Simple. Learn to listen. If you don’t have what I need, just say so.

Service here is great! The prices here seem to be much more reasonable now. 2019 into early 2020, the shirts themselves were around $120ea. Those same shirts now are only $45-$50. I realize that is likely more of a cost recovery type pricing structure, but if they can consider keeping collared shirts around $60ea or less, they may find more patrons in their stores, ongoing.

First off, Shout out to Doug! He was very professional and helpful in my search for some good quality dress attire. Doug helped me pick out two Suits, matching ties and shirts to go with the suits. I have never made a purchase of this type before, it was a little overwhelming at first and a big step! Going forward Doug will be my go-to suit guy! I also want to thank Sharon the manger of the Moore's south Barrie location, events happen in life and I was supposed to pick up both suits on Friday with the alterations made, I needed one suit rushed for an emergency situation and she was able to deliver and get me the Suit early even with how busy they are right now. Went in to buy three suits at this location because I heard good things from a friend. I had to go in 5 times for them to get everything tailored correct. One of thier tailors messed up one of the suits and kept having to make revisions to the others. They wanted to order a new suit and try again. 6 trips to south edmonton later I ended up with 2 suits and a refund on the third. Not a pleasant experience, and not worth the trips down there.

We used Moore’s for the tux rentals for our wedding, all the guys went in and got measured, and when they went to pick everything up items were totally wrong. Such as too long in the arms for one (4”!!!) too short in the pants for others 2-3”!! What is the point of measuring if they’re going to be off by that much!? The groom was given a suit jacket in SLIM when they ordered one that was not slim and he knows that because the consultant said he is definitely not the right build for a slim jacket, and when I voiced the concern at the fitting (not even a week before the wedding) I was told it should be fine but it wouldn’t even do up without it looking like he was about to burst. They said they MIGHT get one by Friday (wedding Saturday morning) and that he’s not the groom so it should be ok. Well, correction, he was the groom, and regardless you expect it to be right when you’re spending that much on a tux rental! Would never recommend them to anyone for their wedding. They caused much unnecessary stress.

They work with what you want, and aren't too pushy for sales, unless your into the product. Great tailors, as well. I will name drop Alyssa E. as she happens to be my favorite employee to deal with as she is EXTREMELY patient, Careful about her choices, gives you multiples options, and if you prefer, will give you her opinion if you ask for it. She is always attentive, and prompt. TL;DR : Great staff, lots of styles and clothes. Ranges from cheap, to expensive. No pushy salesmen. Alyssa Is a awesome employee.

I am a frequent customer of Moore’s. Today, I had one of the worst experiences at a retail store when one of their reps named Minhaj in the Calgary Trail store told me that he will Only help if I’m interested to buy something or else he will not waste any time on me. It’s their job to help and advise customers. I wanted some Suggestion with a shirt I had already bought from before and wanted a tie and pocket square to go with it. Not every customer buys every time he visits. I have shopped unlimited number of times. Just for an example at the time of my wedding I bought 16ties and pocket squares along with shoes and suits and other stuff. Well thanks Minhaj for the hospitality. Moore’s is not the last place in this world to buy clothing. You might have a lot of variety but Minhaj it’s time to learn some work ethics and manners.

I have to Agree with Greg Patterson, Very poor customer service, with the exception of Justin. Justin was great. The manager however is useless, and lies about expected wait times. My Fiance and I went in there in January, prepping for our wedding, we picked out the groomsmen suits etc, all was fine. Justin was of huge help, Went back from my custom fitting for my suit, was told to come back because noone could help (How can you work in a store that offers custom suits and not be able to help/or size for the custom suit?) So, I returned, ONLY because we had worked with Justin before and I made the appointment, returned into the store at the time they gave me. I Was told to wait, as there was now a line of 2 Wedding parties, and 3 other men getting fitted for custom suits. It took 45 Minutes before Tony (Great effort, hard working polite) assisted me, we picked fabric etc, then the Manager started to fit me. Realistically it was try on one of our in store coats, and pants see if that fits and go from there. Tony found my sizes, took a while. Then the manager was pretty rude and ignorant would look and say something then walk away. Once we had myself fitted with a suit that was pretty much available in store with some augmentation, (1 inch either side of the coat, and 2 inches on the waist of the pants) we had completed the sizing (This is now 230pm, I arrived at 1 pm). We had then spent the next 45 minutes inputting the information. The fabric I had selected (with a shiny "NEW" tag on it) was no longer available, as was many other samples. (another gentleman was told a different sample was no longer available) I had double checked if mine was available and was assured by Tony and the Manager. I had to select a new fabric, And furthermore we had to create another separate order, for the vest which I had mentioned several times as being required as well. At the end, I asked how long it would take to get the suit (because alterations still had to take place, and the wedding was 8 weeks away) I was told that it would be 3 weeks, suit in hand. Tony had asked the manager and confirmed, She had stated it rarely takes longer. I called in at the 2.5 week mark, asked and was told that it was almost done, that they should have it on the weekend. I went in that weekend on (3 weeks to the day) and inquired. The manager who was pretty short and rude, then informed me its a minimum 22 Business day. This same manager had told me and Tony to my face that it was 3 weeks, suit in hand. I am not impressed with this location. I will say this, Justin is hard working, very hard, polite and a great salesmen, asks what your after. Tony works hard as well, but does not understand the sizing side, or the computer side. He does love interacting and working with the customers to find out what they are after. The manager, Not impressed with at all. I found the manager very rude, very insulting and demeaning to the sales team working for them. I will be calling the head office to discuss this.

What I always like about Moores is how the employees will help you find things that look good on you and fit you well. Something that I would haven't considered are shown to me and I end up really liking it. They have good quality clothing and they have some really good sales at times.

We went late in the evening with three kids (aged 2, 6 and 8) to get fitted for a groomsmen suit and a ring bearer suit. All of the staff were quick to help and our associate Shauna was fantastic. She was very patient and made the experience fun for my kids. She took the extra time to find a shirt for my husband (he has a difficult time finding a good fitting dress shirt) and gave excellent advice on how to improve the fit. She also went the extra mile to give us the best possible pricing. So it was great experience thanks to an excellent employee. Thank you Shauna!

Had been shopping here for years. Went in with my wife - she asked lots of questions. Saw salesman go over to some other salesmen mocking my wife about questions she was asking. Spoke to owner when he saw me confront the guy. Owner did nothing. People - many great stores out there with people who will treat you with respect. These people do not deserve your business. Until customers start shopping at places like this nothing changes.

A store that wants to be a classy old time British clothing-to-fit store with a taylor onsite and half dozen associates ready to assist .... In reality is a store where all the sales people are gathered together, talking and hardly noticing you as you come into the store ... they may be more willing to help, depending on how you're dressed ... not extremely friendly or interested to break their conversation. Custom service is not scoring high in my book at this store. The product is ok, in general, the shoes collection is outdated and uninspiring. The rental department is probably the best in the store.

My only complaint, that we have to rent and there is no option to buy as they don't carry thier sizes. So, the suits kind of fit, but are on the big size, they guarantee best fit, which I get...just for the price we paid for a few day rental we would have rather purchased new. Unfortunately, they do not carry kids sizes for mid-years kids. They have young toddler, and then the next available size is 8. Anyways, would love to have the option to purchase new for a better fit and similar pricing.

If I could give this zero starts I would. I don't even know where to start with Moores. My wedding is this Saturday (March 11th 2017). The Groom, his 5 groomsmen, my brother & father and the Grooms father (9 guys) went to get fitted for their suits for the wedding in JANUARY. All was fine, we were told by Elsa who took the measurements that we had to pick them up the week prior to the wedding. I was concerned and said that would be cutting it too close to the wedding date incase anything went wrong. However, she reassured me that it was regular protocol on when suits come in. Monday February 27th we got a call saying some of the guys suits were in. So my fiancé (the Groom) went in to try it on. Everything fit but the hem job was completely BUTCHERED. I said to them, there's no way I'm taking that, you need to fix it. So they took it back. The Grooms father went to try his tux on Wednesday March 1st. His vest and shirt were 2 sizes too big... and told him it wouldn't be back in until Thursday (March 9th) 2 days before the wedding to try on as it needed to be sent out. So I called them and lost my mind. THEN. Another groomsmens pants were 3 inches too short, along with my Fathers pants, being 3 inches too short. The other 3 groomsmen had to get theirs modified and adjusted in store when they went to try it on. 8 of 9 guys suits were pretty much way off in sizing. They tell you to pick it up the week before and have zero customer service. I had to call them and DEMAND that their suits ALL be done by this past Tuesday. Unbelievable Moores. This is what you SPECIALIZE in and you messed up SO bad, not on one but ALL of the suits. I will never ever recommend for anyone to use you. Who ever took measurements clearly doesn't know how to do their job and you guys were no help whatsoever. When asked to fix it, I was given eye rolls and attitude. You're by far the worst Moores I've ever dealt with and I hope you loose business because of your lack of professionalism and lack of skills to measure suits. Service is terrible. Got fitted for a tux 2 months ago , then a month before the wedding we were told to come in for a second fitting. We booked a 7pm fitting appointment and didn't get helped until after 8pm. The person before us was a walk in and did not have an appointment and Moore's sign says they serve appointments first but apparently that was not the case today. After waiting for over an hour the girl came to help us and had no idea why we had to come for a second fitting when our suits were already shipped but not at the store. So they essentially wasted over an hour of our time for no reason. Now I am currently waiting at Moore's again for a staff member to help me. My Tux is in and I just want to try it on and go, but the guy who is supposed to be working in the rental department decided to go fit a customer for a non-rental suit and the line is now backed up in rentals, during grad season. Terrible service and useless staff.

We were attending a wedding and when my son told me clothes didn't fit, we had to work fast because the wedding was the next day. We walked into the store and we were greeted by Katilyn. She was amazing! She spoke to my son, who is only 13, as if he was an adult. She offered ideas and selections and let him choose from there. She offered to steam the shirt and have the pants altered right then and there. My son made the comment "best customer service ever!". I definitely had to agree with him. A completely off-putting experience. My fiance and I popped in when we were nearby to inquire about suit rentals, as he and his groomsmen aren't huge formalwear fans so it seemed the better choice. I asked the girl at the desk in the suit section and she directed us to a gentleman nearby. Right off the hop he was completely unwelcoming and condescending, giving us no explanation on the process or costs whatsoever. He just took us over to the suit display, prompted us pick one and to decide on an appointment time, seeming incredibly annoyed when we made the mistake of not knowing how long appointments take and how many people can attend them (despite, again, giving us absolutely no information on how everything goes). My fiance is fairly shy and was terribly flustered by the time we left. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I immediately started hunting around for other options as soon as we got home– I have zero interest in spending money somewhere that can't be bothered to provide professional customer service to prospective customers. We were able to get in elsewhere this evening, and the staff there were incredibly friendly, helpful and informative from the outset. Save yourself the bother and take your business elsewhere like we did.

We chose Moore’s for the rental company for our wedding as we had won a prize at a bridal show for the groom’s rental free. At our consult and the measurement appointments, the sales woman was very friendly and helpful and they had several nice options to choose from. When it came time to pick up however, we were beyond frustrated to say the least. We spent nearly an hour arguing over the payment of the groom’s rental. We had given the prize coupon at our last appointment but were being told (at first) that they didn’t have it on file, and then that the suit we ordered was an upgrade from the one included in the prize; we were never told this at our previous appointments and would have either selected something else, or come prepared to spend more money. This was a nightmare to deal with just TWO DAYS before our wedding. I’m also glad we checked the bag at the store as the pocket square was not the correct one ordered. The most offensive error was the groomsmen’s suits. They all looked correct to me (I asked to see them after noticing the groom’s pocket square was wrong), but the sizing of all three was not right, which we found the day of the wedding. Two were too small (one even had the pants rip at the butt at the reception), and one was comically large (the suit jacket was like a short dress and made him look 50lbs heavier). When paying over $200 for rental, and spending nearly an hour being measured & fitted, you expect the suits to be at least relatively the same size as you. I would steer clear of renting from them unless you want a headache and for your groomsmen to look stupid.

We rented tux’s for our wedding from this location and this was by far the worst experience I ever had anywhere. A week before our wedding the tux’s were in and the ties, vests and shirts were all wrong, everyone in the wedding party ended up with different combinations. When we ordered the rentals manager was the one helping us and she swore she would fix everything in the computer and there was no need for us to wait (since we had been there for over 2 hours already). When the mistake was realized, I called her to ask if the correct colours would be in for the wedding and she got very defensive and hung up on me! One of my bridesmaids and groomsman were in the store at the time and she came back to complain about me to them and promised she would order the right colours. My husband went into the store to pick his up and then she was rude to him and even complained about me, called me names to him and said I yelled at her! She continued to argue with him and try passing off the blame instead of fixing the problem. So we went into the store the Sunday before our wedding to make sure it was all straightened out. And she hadn’t ordered the new ones despite promising it was right! The store manager and the wonderful guy working in rentals quickly straightened it out and got the correct one ordered and profusely apologized for the mistake. However we had a few more dealings with the rentals manager. Shauna and an assistant manager Alicia which were awful. They were constantly rude and condescending towards our entire wedding party. When I called and spoke to the store manager Luigi he quickly gave us a bit of money off the rentals and made sure we had everything we needed. When we went to drop off the same assistant manager was working and she took one look at us and gave us a dirty look and just walked away without helping! Luigi was quick to run up and grab everything to get us on our way. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone!!! The way they harass and bully customers is totally uncalled for.

Went in one evening with my fiancé just to browse around their collections. There were so many tuxes and suits, it overwhelmed us and we did not know where to start. We walked around the whole store a couple of times, and nobody bothered to even come say hi. We are a younger couple, so we get that often. We even stood in front of the wedding rental section to look at their prices, and the associate just side-eyed us, and continued folding clothes. A few of middle-aged males in the store seemed to be having a good time and the associates were really eager to help them. I guess they just really pick out whoever seems to have more money to pay, and we certainly did not look like one.

I rented my wedding Tux there, last minute notice and they pulled it off within 2 days, there was a broken buckle on the vest when I received it no biggie I made it work. Brought it back mentioned to them and it was a great experience/ consumer satisfaction they didn't complain about the broken buckle with absolutely no hassle. Hit and miss if you find someone who really knows what they are doing and takes an interest in setting you up. I bought a tonne of stuff there and then had to get different sizes in shirts for tje neck sizing so I didn't choke to death later. I went to the Moores up near the Georgian mall to swap out since it's closer to where I worked at the time. Managers' name is Joe. Joe is amazing. Still, this location which is by cabela's had pretty knowledgeable staff and a great selection and I got someone who did take the time to help me so it overall was a decent experience.

I can only muster one star for this Moores location. The service was poor at best. Their rentals section has no idea what's going on. The staff if they choose to assist you, doesn't seem to know how to create an accurate quote or provide any detailed information on their products or packages. There seemed to be no order to how they do things. There did appear to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff in other parts of the store assisting customers but it seems the rentals area is not given the same amount of attention to detail. My recommendation would be purchase or rent your suit elsewhere as there are many other stores in Edmonton that offer superior customer service and value.

So, my experience so far at Moore’s, located on Calgary trail has been amazing. My family and I have a huge traditional birthday party coming up and needed 12+ suits to be rented at a reasonable price. I understood that brining this many teenagers to get fitted was not going be easy, and it was going to take some time. I know there has been some minor difficulties from our part, but Antonio and the staff did their best to ease the process of renting suits. My family came in with an idea of what we were looking for, but Antonio had better options (which would look better for photos :)). Every time I go into this location there is always a group of staff standing at the back awkwardly looking at me. The only time I ever get help here is from a sales rep that is already working with another customer and wants to work with multiple people at the same time. I don’t recommend this place: -Most of the time mens popular size clothings are not available... -Ladies trying to sell available clothes and get rid of costumer as soon as possible... -Workers have very “up to down” look at costumer, because they know rocket science... Walmart and Costco got better range of clothes and sizes. Used to be a good place but not anymore.

The sales person was great however I paid for extra “services” to be done to my sons suit. When he wore it to prom we realized that these services were not added to his suit. I called Moore’s and the lady said no problem bring the receipt in we will issue a refund for the services. However when I did bring in the receipt the manager refused to and made me sound like a liar. I was embarrassed in front of other customers. He said that I would have to bring in the entire suit for me to prove that they were not done!! The manager was rude and this is over the top. We said closer to $900 in total and he made me jump through hoops in order to get $35 refunded!! Unbelievable.

Place is pretty understaffed, went there to get three rental suits for my wedding and the entire process was 2.5 hours long. Ontop of that we only got 1 of the 3 of us measurements and fitted in that time and told the girl we would come back tomorrow to finish. The lady helping us didn't seem to understand how to manage her time as she would be jumping around from different customers while we were there still waiting to get measurements. I can't put all the blame on her as it was more or less her running the entire rentals section and no one else came to help. We will be going elsewhere for the suits.

My fiance and I recently purchased our groomsmen and groom suit from this location. We had visited several stores in the area looking for a specific look for our wedding. No one seemed to have what we were looking for or have any interest in helping us. We went into Moores at park place a couple of weeks ago and dealt with the store manager. She went above and beyond in helping us. We purchased the groom suit on the spot and were very impressed with her suggestions for our groomsmen. We went back this week to decide on outfits for our groomsmen. To our surprise she had 2 options brought in for each of the guys, in their sizes. I wish we had gone to this store in the first place and avoided the disappointment at the other stores. I would recommend visiting Moores at Park Place in a heartbeat. All of our groomsmen have now been fitted and are good to go. Very impressed!

I went into Moore’s today to look at suits for my upcoming wedding. Probably the best experience I have had at this location, specifically do to the amazing customer service from Alyssa, one of their wardrobe consultants. She was very quick to suggest different colour combinations and catered to my needs for what I was looking for. She also looked for the most cost effective options and I am happy to say I walked out in just over half and hour with full suit, shirt, socks and tie purchased. I would definitely recommend Alyssa to anyone looking to purchase some new formal wear.

Not very impressed with the customer service at this location. My friend and I went in to buy suits for our 2 year olds for her upcoming wedding. Even though we had an appointment made and suits put aside it took forever until we finally found someone to help us. We got send in to the change room and not one sinlge person ever came to check how it was going or if we needed a different size and we had to keep hunting associates down to get different sizes for the suits. Also a lady working there (I assume doing alterations) pretty much yelled at us that the kids shouldnt be walking around with socks on, because there are needles all over the floor. We do appreciate she let us know, but it couldve been said in a more polite way. At the end of the day the only time anyone ever approached us was to let us know they will be closing in 10 minutes. Perhaps they get paid commission and we werent worth their money as I see many positive comments here, but a customer is a customer no matter how much or little they spend. Would never go back.

Trisha has a really good eye for matching colors and pairing up exactly what you are looking for when you ask for something. Complete an utterly the worst buying experience I had went to buy a suit I've been a client for almost a decade. I was going in to get a suit for a funeral explained I wanted something cheap. He measured me went over to a rack and sighed saying he only had a 600 suit in my size and nothing in clearance I'm a fairly regularly sized person he seemed very uninterested in assisting me. I will never go back to moores I had a suit on purchased and bought at tip top in Southgate in about 20 minutes for 200. Do yourselves a favour shop elsewhere the staff here was appalling.

Disappointed to say I would never return as a customer. The customer service I recieved today along side my friend who is soon to be married was horrible. We arrived at store opening to be fitted for one rental for myself and one purchased suit for my friend. 1.5 hours later we were still standing half dressed not measured and no closer to a finished outfit. When we finally questioned the staff on the lack of attention we were told he always takes care of multiple customers and to come back later in the day. No appointment could be made and no guarantee we would have his attention and continued help at the given time. With frustration mounting we walked out of the store to the competition on Whyte Ave. Night and day difference. In and out in half hour fitted and purchased. Full wedding party now going there.

I went to this location with my dad last week. He has been shopping with Moore’s for 10+ years but this was by far the worst experience. When we walked in no one offered to help even though there was only one other customer in the store. Once asking for assistance the sales associate did not seem willing to help. I asked her to measure my dad for his suit size. My dad had a stroke last year so movement in his arms and legs is a little limited but with some help and patience he can do most things. When she proceeded to do the measurements, she became frustrated that my dad could not lift his arms quickly/high enough for her and that it was taking him longer to turn his body the way she wanted. She was speaking very rudely and with lots of attitude when asking him to move a certain way. After sizing him, she got him to try on a suit. Since his arms do not bend as much, he couldn’t slip into the suit jacket the way she was handing it to him. I kindly let her know that he can’t move like that and needs to put it on himself. Instead she proceeded to try one more time and began sighing and rolling her eyes when he could not put it on like that. Finally, she gave him the suit and told me “here he can put it on however he wants”. The rest of the time she was super monotone, didn’t even smile one time during the visit. Overall, she did not want to help us and was annoyed. It was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional to treat anyone like that let alone someone that needed a little extra help and patience. This is a form of discrimination and should not be tolerated by anyone. My dad is someone who’s always smiling and joking with everyone and this was not the case as he was upset with how he was treated. Although we still made a purchase, we for sure would not return to this kind of service.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ATTIRE FOR YOUR WEDDING PARTY, STAY AWAY. My family HAD been doing business with this location for years, including buying over $5000 worth of suits since the beginning of 2020. You would think they would do all they could to help a customer that spends so much money on their product, but that's not the case. My sister and her fiancee are going through this location and they also had MAJOR issues. The focal point of our issues surround the manager, Luigi. He is not helpful, doesn't put the customer first, has been rude on multiple occasions and doesn't stand by his prices. In my specific case, I called into the store and asked about a Joseph Abboud tuxedo to buy and rent. The store employee gave me pricing, and that call ended. Simple right? Well, since I am in the U.S., my mom and sister went into the store to take a look at the tux' I had inquired about. They were informed that the store doesn't sell that tux, which is confusing because I don't know how they would have told me pricing unless they carried the tuxedo. Anyway, Luigi was very rude and lacked any understanding through the whole ordeal. He offered a different suit for a price that was more than what we had been told over the phone, and he would not match the prices even though we had been told a very specific price. If you are going to tell someone the price of a suit that you don't even offer, I would recommend offering them a suit that will match the price that was told to the customer, regardless of what your new offer is. DO NOT, go through them if you are looking for a wedding party. They are completely unprofessional. They make wedding planning even more difficult than it already is.

Andrew at the Belleville location has been more than helpful to my Groom, my dad, father-in-law and our wedding party. The groomsmen had such a wonderful experience with Andrew as he was patient, informative and gave us all the guidance we needed in picking out the suits. They all ended up with custom suits and liners and then unfortunately Covid-19 came around and shut everything down. After months of being closed, Moore’s finally opened again and I was able to take my Dad in for his suit. Again we had dealt with Andrew. And yet again he offered us the best help, and amazing customer service. The belleville location has been so patient with our family and groomsmen as we have all been calling the store weekly for an update on when our suits were coming in, which were unfortunately held up due to the circumstances. I visited this Moores twice in the last month. Once when I purchased my suit on October 31st. Which at the time I expressed concern that the shirt they were selling me had too short of sleeves to be worn with a suit (Not longer than the suit sleeve, and rides up really far when arms reaching out). I was told no, it fits fine. Today, (Nov 21st) I visited again to pick up my suit and get fitted for alterations. Not only did I bring up the sleeve length to the staff member again being told yet again I was wrong, but the length they hemmed by pants were completely wrong, about an inch too long. So I brought my clothing to a REAL tailor today right after, and the tailor was disgusted with the hem job being so obviously wrong, as well as telling me I need to purchase a new shirt because the arm length was wrong and would not work for my suit. Confirming my suspicion I brought up to TWO separate staff members on two separate occasions. On top of all of this, they never notified me when my pants arrived via phone call like promised. 1/10 Moores, I'll never give you my business again. Going to go buy my new shirt for my suit at literally anywhere else.

Nathen was the guy who helped me find perfect size for my sports coat/blazer. He was very professional and genuinely interested. I was not sure about my size so he took my measurements and guided me to the right section. He gave me some color combination suggestions and coutfit ideas as well. You can get the same blazer from other stores and probably ($40) cheaper but if you want excellent customer service, professional representatives to help you and great selection of men's clothing, it's money well spent. If you start watching ahead of time for promos on the things you need you will definitely get great value. Overall the staff are quite well trained and professional in conduct. They are aware of their offers or what they can or can't build in. I cant say that I have ever price shopped alteration services and true enough both suits and the pants needed a few adjustments which they bill for individually. My gut reaction was it was a little excessive but the price of the clothing and hopefully the great fit and my happiness when I pick up Friday will far outweigh that. Overall a great shopping experience!!

Scheduled an appointment for fittings and rental selection. Went in with my fiancé, my groomsmen and both fathers. As we started to discuss our colour selection and which rental we would like to use, I immediately noticed that there weren’t very many to choose from. During our appointment my fiancé and I both felt that we were being told what we had to wear and any suggestions or requests we made were ignored. We made preliminary selections so the people in our wedding party could pay their deposits and have their measurements taken, but were already planning another visit to possibly talk to someone else a bit more reasonable and open to what we were thinking. As we were paying our deposit a specific deal that was mentioned to us when we started looking for a rental company came up. The way the promotion was explained to us originally was, if we signed up a total of 10 people, including myself we would receive my tux rental for free and also a $600 credit towards a new suit. At this time we were told that the promotion didn’t apply to us as 11 people total were required. Although disappointed we decided that we would try and find another rental at a later date to meet the new limit. My fiancé and her mother went in another day and received the exact same treatment. Telling them what needed to be chosen right down to the colors of the bride’s father’s tuxedo. We know that part of their job is to help with ideas and suggestions but we were not expecting our ideas be dismissed completely. After months of research we knew what we wanted our wedding party to look like and being told it wasn’t an option didn’t sit well with us. Immediately after the second visit we decided to visit another rental company we heard about through friends. We explained to them what was going on and they were much more accommodating. We told them what we originally wanted and they had no issue helping us out. We immediately decided to cancel with Moores and go with the other company. I went into Moores to receive a refund for the deposit and to let them know my entire wedding party will be coming in to do the same. I let them know that we were going with another company. At no point was an effort made to keep my business. I was simply asked “have you decided to purchase a suit?” which I replied. “No I’m renting from another company”. As my refund was being processed I was asked why I was making the switch. I simply said the other company had more selection at a cheaper price. At this point I thought maybe a store manager would be contacted to discuss my rental, but my refund was processed and I walked out of the store. I was not going to leave a comment or complain until my mother in law went in to the store to receive her refund on the deposit for her husband’s rental. She did get to speak to a manager, and was told that refunds aren’t usually given in these types of situations but they would make an exception in her case. So not only have we received no customer service, but now we are being lied to? A member of our wedding party decided to go into the Moores located in Newmarket, where he explained the situation and what we were going through. He not only received a full refund but was assured that if we went into their store we wouldn’t receive the same treatment. So long story short if you’re looking to bring your business to this Moores store specifically, don’t bother.

Never been much of a suit person. Ran into a situation where I was in need. Went in talked to a sales person by the name of Robin. I talked to him about what I was looking for and the budget I was willing to spend. He bent over backward to help. Probably one of the best sales person I've ever dealt with. I have been in many times since. I can see why there are a few bad reviews about some of the staff, but not much different than any other retail store. I highly recommend if you go in ask for Robin. I know you will be happy with his customer service.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE We called to pick up the grooms suit, on the scheduled day to go there and them tell us his custom suit was not ready as the pants need to be hemmed still. Even though we ordered months ago and they had over two weeks to hem the pants. “Our tailor quit and the other one got pregnant” was the excuse. Picking up the suit today only to come home and check that the dress shirt was missing. We called and Katherine let us know it was there however it had a pen mark on it so she was going to call us back. Then calls us back to say we didn’t order a dress shirt…. How do go from saying it’s here and has pen on it to no actually you didn’t order one? Jonathan was ordering for the entire bridal party yet the GROOM is missing his shirt. Another store (Newmarket) let us know that there is a dress shirt on file ordered but not the same as the groomsman and not white in colour?! This is unacceptable to spend over $1100 on a custom suit plus having over 8 people buy their suits and receive this run around of lies and not being prepared two days before the wedding. Not to mention the father of the grooms belt was missing so they sent us to the other Barrie location to pick it up. Even though the lady put the belt in the drawer when purchasing and said I’m putting this here for when you pick it up. Terrible customer service with not a care, do not buy from here.

Horrendous customer service. We had come in for measurements for 4 mens rental suits. I was greeted by 5 men standing around who directed me to the rental side of the store. They had 1 employee helping another customer and sent over someone else to help us. We explained what we were looking for, the employee had no idea what products they offered and what style and colours were available. He was dismissive and continually kept leaving us while in the middle of taking measurements. No other employees came to assist the one helping us. The measurements taken were poor at best. Baggy in places, way too tight in others. Save your money and your time and avoid at all costs. It will end up saving you time and money by going with a store that knows their product and is passionate about customer experience. This location could care less.

We went in for my husband and we’re able to find a suit and shirt very quickly. The prices are extremely reasonable and they were able to complete alterations in the store as well. We will definitely be back!

I went to Moores on the middle of a slow Monday Afternoon, to fix a pair of pants for a suit I bought at the Men's Warehouse in the US (same company but service in the US is fantastic). Waited for about 10 minutes in line before someone helped me out. As I was mentioning that I was disappointed no one came to hep me out, the sale associate walked away from me in mid sentence. So while waiting for my pants I walked around the store, I happen to need a couple new suits too, and there was a sale still on. For 20 minutes I walked around the near empty store without a SINGLE sales associate coming to say hello or ask if I could use a hand. I passed by several associates and when I made eye contact they all looked the other direction. I am so disappointed in Moores especially when their American counterparts give great service. I don't know why I go back there, but this must be the 3rd or 4th time this has happened, and NEVER AGAIN!! I would rather pay the 30% currency difference to be treated with respect in the US than shop at home!

Very welcoming staff who seem to know their stuff pretty well. The one lady I worked with instantly understood what I was looking for it and didnt try to sell me on anything I didn't want. This was awesome because I went in there looking for a black suit and what I got was a black suit. Not funky ties, no fun vest, just what I wanted.

The place can be overwhelming and daunting with many fashions of suits to dress shirts to ties. The best way is to partner with a passionate and excited consultant (whom you need to get to know to ensure they understand your style and taste). Once you have one, the user experience will be fantastic and memorable.

Terrible. Got a suit from the "professionals" for a wedding I was in, they measured and i tried on the "tester suit" and everything was great. When I got the pants for the wedding, they were size 46 waist.. I could almost take 2 steps before the pant leg moved. TERRIBLE

I went to the Moore’s in 17 street and they made me wait about 15-20 mins before i can get helped. Even the customer who came after i did got helped first. I ended up going to the Calgary trail location and that’s where Roselyn and Tricia came out and both helped me find the perfect suit. Even though they were limited to my expectations, they were able to find a solution for me and it all took less than 20 mins. I highly recommend going to see them for any of your future purchases and i will for sure be coming back after the service that they have provided me with. I appreciate the effort that they’ve put in! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Excellent and comfortable experience! Being a Jean's guy had no clue about suits. Gord Thomas was awesome in showing me many suits. Let me pick and didn't pressure me. Gord knows his stuff. Thanks again Gord! I'll be back for that Jacob suit. Recommend all men visit Moores and see Gord. When I left Gord had me feeling great about myself and confident. It's worth the drive to Moores.

Crappy customer service. Staff are extremely rude and pretentious. My husband was shown one sport coat for $439.00. He asked for other options but was scoffed at then left standing there while the employee went off to help another person. It appears by the numerous 1 & 2 star reviews this is nothing new or never addressed.

Although there were more than enough staff members the help was hard to find. Went in for a wedding fitting for one person and took over an hour for pre picked out shirt and pants. Slow service will have me not coming back to this location. Suggest driving a little longer to find the next store.
