I have been going to Maggie M Tailors for quite some time to have all my clothing altered. The staff is always so friendly here. They will offer suggestions and tips to better alter your clothing, if need be. Their prices are very reasonable and well-adjusted. They always do an excellent job in the work they do. I have no complaints about Maggie M Tailors, and recommend for everyone to have their clothing altered here.

I have been taking my things here for over 2 years after I was fed up with such poor work in edmonton. I have to customize a lot of things for fitment. The girls that run this place and work here are exceptional. They make suggestions and you have to listen. They really know their stuff. I drive from the far west end to come here because the quality of the work is outstanding. Little places like this are so rare to find these days and I highly recommend this place. Incredible workmanship thank you!!!

Staff is friendly, and more than willing to help. I got 3, 2-piece suits dry cleaned for $59.69 (as of 02/10/2018) -- not entirely sure if this is a good price, but it was convenient. Dropped it off Wednesday morning and was ready in 2 days. If you live near by, you can't go wrong with coming here.

We took a Sitka jacket that had been badly damaged by a dog in to Maggie's. Another tailor had told us that they couldn't do anything to repair it. Maggie proved them wrong! The repair was done so well that the jacket looked brand new. The tailor had to find a lining material close to the color of the original, use the original lining to replace the damaged jacket parts, and sew it all back together! No one could have done it better and this was at a very reasonable cost.

If I could rate it zero star I would. Have been a customer there for a while, always thought they do a good job, but when they got some measurements wrong, and I asked for it to be re-done, Maggie said she needed to charge me again, after I've paid for it. Never admitted that it was her mistake, and kept saying I need to pay it again half of the original price. I said I wouldn't pay it again, as it was her mistake and she should own it. I honestly can say that it is the greediest business I've been to. When I went to pick it up, she didn't look at me at all. Find somewhere else for your your dry cleaning , laundry and tailor needs. It was for sure my last time there and I would not recommend it. There's. no room for rude business.

Went Into Maggie's to get a wedding dress hemmed for our elopement in december. Was very pleased with the service and quality of work . Maggie was very professional and friendly . She had it done for me within a week and wanted to be there when I picked it up to ensure I was happy with everything. I was charged 180 but the dress had three layers and she also changed the straps. At first I thought it was a little much since I only payed about 80 for the dress online from lulu's but when I thought about it I'm sure actual wedding dress alterations are alot more at specialty shops. I will continue totally come back in the future.

Maggie M's is the best. If they are curt on the phone it's because there's usually a lineup of people wanting to get there clothing done there. They do an amazing job and even though I live in another neighbourhood now, I still go here, especially for any special occasion items. Beautiful work.

I had 2 pairs of jeans hemmed with the original hem re-attached. They did a perfect job, I can't tell that they've been altered at all & the quality is fantastic. The hemming outlasted the rest of the pants.

I went here for the first time this last week, and was pleasantly greeted with friendly service and a welcoming feel. The items they dry cleaned and tailored was done professionally and timely. I will definitely come back. A nice home-town feel and it appears that they have been in business for years, as there were many familiar customers that came in with small chat while I was there. Seemed like a busy and friendly establishment. I came away feeling that my patronage here was an inclusion into a part of my community. Very pleased.

Maggie is the best- granted, there's certainly a language barrier- particularly over the phone, but if you are there in person and can point to what you need done there's really no problem. She always checks and triple checks to make sure she understands what you need. I've come here repeatedly and never been disappointed. I've seen her give discounts to repeat customers just because (and her prices are already great) and her work is always top notch.

I was appalled at the treatment I received. My mother and I both brought in items to be altered. My mother was told that they could not alter the sleeves or shoulders only the hem. I was rudely told that they couldn't do the shoulders on my dress ( I had sewn the rest of the dress) because "she couldn't sew sequin material". 2 days later, when my mother picked up her top, Maggie was fitting an Asian girl with a long SEQUIN dress (including the zipper) . Very questionable why she could work on the sequin material of an Asian girl but not on the sequin material of a non-Asian. It appeared to me to be a clear case of reverse discrimination

I brought my wedding dress in to get dry cleaned, and it came back with a lot of beads missing and some of the stitching coming out. My wedding reception was 12 hours after I was supposed to pick it up, but Maggie and her crew worked around the clock to re-bead and stitch everything up. It was perfect when I came to pick it up on the way to my wedding, thank you for your amazing work and taking care of your customers!

I wouldn't go anywhere else to have work done! I've been taking things to Maggie to be altered for a number of years now and I have always been happy with the service, quality of work, and prices. What people have deemed rude has more to do with cultural differences/norms. I wouldn't let that sway anyone's decision to go there.

I called to inquire about having a couple pairs of pants hemmed. First, I couldn't even understand the woman who answered the phone - and she was not AT ALL even remotely pleasant. Second, I couldn't get a straight answer. First I was told $9, then $15. I asked if it was $15 each or $15 for both. The woman said 'yeah.' I repeated my question. She told me it was $10. Then she said $5. She just kept saying random amounts. Completely confused, I told her I was just call somewhere else. "Ok!" She said and hung up. Wow.

My experience was extremely disappointing. I was referred to Maggie by Delica for my wedding dress, but she was not confident enough to complete any alternations on my dress. I would not recommend her.
