Highly, highly recommend! I took a leap of faith and tried a new tailor, and I was so pleased. Basima had my bridesmaid dress ready for me in under a week. I shared what I thought I needed done to the dress (it was too long, the waist was too big, the straps were too long, and the bust was many sizes too big) and Basima told me her honest opinion that would save me money and that wouldn't change the look of the dress too much. I trusted her and I am so happy with the work she did. Her work is so clean. I tried it on when it was ready and asked for one more thing to be done, and expected to wait another week, but she had it ready for me in 10 minutes. She is experienced, talented, honest, and kind. I picked up a down coat and jeans yesterday, both had needed to be cut down a size. She did an excellent job. They were ready on time. I thought the prices reasonable: $60.00 to take in the waist and sides of a down coat and shorten the sleeves; $21.00 to streamline the legs of the jeans. I highly recommend Instyle Tailoring & Drycleaning for alterations. (I haven't yet tried the drycleaning service.)

One star does not even come close to the horrible service I received here. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED WORSE SERVICE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. SHE RUINED MY WEDDING DRESS, SHRUNK IT AND THEN REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DRESSES OR YOUR CLOTHES HERE!! SHE WILLL RUIN THEM!! I brought in my wedding dress for some alterations and cleaning. The staff there recommneded a few small changes to the dress that they said would be easy and quick fixes to the dress. The dress already fit almost perfectly and I agreed to have them make the changes to make it fit that much better. I was on a tight timeline but she agreed to have it all done in time. When I went in for my fitting a few weeks later, the dress still had not been cleaned! Not only had it not been cleaned, but the cups that she told me she would add to the dress to make the top fit better, messed up the inner lining of the dress to the point where TWO inches of the lining was popping out the top! All she had done to add the cups was add a couple of hand stitches to the tops of the cups underneath, they weren't even properly attached!!!! She also was supposed to put a bustle in the back, however the 'bustle" still allowed the gown to drag on the floor, and she added METAL HOOKS to the OUTSIDE of the dress, she added them into the tulle, so if anyone stepped on it, the dress would have ripped immediately. At the time of this fitting, I had ten days until my wedding, when I told her this, she immediately got snappy with me and blamed me for leaving it so late! SHE was the one who told me when it would be done! She told me it would be fixed and cleaned two days later, I agreed to this since I had no choice. She proceeded to call me two days later... TEN MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING. I live 30min away and had no hope of getting there in time. She was supposed to open the shop the next day for me so I could pick it up, however she never did. I had to go in the day after and because it was so late, I had no time to try it on while i was there. I got home and tried it on that evening only to find that she SHRUNK MY DRESS!! I couldn't even barely breathe it had shrunk so bad. And she never even attempted to fix the lining that she messed up in the first place. And now she refuses to give me any money back, and she openly admits that she does bad work but she doesn't care. She's lazy, rude and knows nothing about customer service or how to tailor a dress. She nearly ruined my wedding all because she's too lazy and incompetent to do good work. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE, SHE WILL RUIN THEM AND STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Wedding!!! I had my dress tailored for my wedding on July 5, 2015 in Vegas, USA. My dress was a lace blue mermaid cut that was see through from the knee down. The ladies at this location did an amazing job and I couldn't have been more pleased. The back was completely open so I asked for some extra material so that you wouldn't see my bra as I am unable to go bra-less. Instead, they took out my zipper and added my original lace higher and then reattached the zipper. I still had my diamond opening but it also covered my bra. I am not sure how they did it but it was truly amazing and beautiful. They really saw my vision and it was completely affordable. As a curvaceous women, it is often hard to have someone that can understand your shape. They were amazing and my husband also noted that the dress fit like a glove. I brought a down jacket with a fur hood to get dry cleaned. It smelled of cigarette smoke when I got it second hand and I was worried the fur hood would be ruined with any kind of washing but they did great! The jacket came back in less than two weeks with no cigarette smoke smell anymore! It was very reasonably priced as well! They were very nice there and very professional. Happy with overall results and price.

If you would like to take stuff in just for cleaning, I’m sure everything will be fine but DO NOT take anything in for alterations or repairs (even simple hemming) I gave her 3 chances with 3 different items on 3 different occasions. Why you ask? Well, the place is very close to my home and I just kept having faith that she wouldn’t ruin the next item but without a doubt... she FAILED! She Last “fixed”a zipper (just put a new pull slider) for $21. The jacket was very expensive and she pretty much Ed ruined it cuz when I got it back she put a completely different zipper and couldn’t even match the right COLOR which now makes it stick out like a sore thumb, she also did some very poor quality stitching to close off the opening she had to make to get the slider on, it now just looks like shhittttt!

Where do I start. I have not used my dress uniform in almost 2 years. I needed to have my uniform tailored within 2 weeks of rememberence day. It was not only professionally tailored, but also dry cleaned in less than a week. As an added bonus I realised that I needed to have something sewn onto my uniform the day before rememberence day and the owner gladly took it and sewed it on for me on the spot. I can not talk any more highly about this tailor and will continue to have my bussiness for years to come and will recommend it to anyone I talk to who needs a tailor.

Omg!! This lady is BEST tailor you can bring your clothes to!! She fit me in 2 hours before a baptism I had to go to as my zipper broke the night before ???? I called around so many places and they couldn’t fit me in on a Saturday or they had no seamstresses in! I called her and told her my situation and all she said was “What time is the baptism?” And then she said right after “Come! Come now!” Seriously!! A life saver!! She saved my day!! And she was sooo super friendly and amazing about it all! It’s like she was my fairy god mother!! Let me tell you too! It’s wasn’t a small task as she had to replace the whole zipper and my playsuit had lace on it!! I love her so much for going more than above and beyond!! I was such a mess that day that I forgot a tank top to go under my playsuit and get this!! She lent me hers!!!! Which I still have to return because I left that night(so sorry!)!! But can u believe the service!! And how sweet and kind and gracious she is!!! She is the best!!!!! All around!! P.S. If you are reading this, I am so sorry about being so late to return your tank top! I live out of town but I will be coming in to return it to you!! ????????????????

I had an appointment booked with Davids Bridal after purchasing my wedding dress with that company.. After talking with multiple other woman telling me alterations start at $500 and with the alterations I needed done would cost me about $1500.. after accepting this terrible alteration price I found Instyle tailor. The beautiful woman made me feel so perfect and welcome, she had my dress done a week before she said she would, and at a fraction of the cost at Davids Bridal. Would 100% recommend to anyone woman looking for dress alterations.

The service was great and they made us feel like family. My daughter and I went to Edmonton to shop for a grad dress, we are from northern Saskatchewan. My daughter fell in love with a dress that was a size 12 and my daughter was a size 4. The dress shop we bought the dress from set us up with the lovely staff at this establishment. Before we purchased the dress we were guaranteed she could bring the dress in 8 sizes. I was prepared to leave it in Edmonton then have it shipped to Saskatchewan. The lovely lady stayed and worked after hours to ensure we would leave the city with dress the next day. The next day when we tried on the dress it fit perfectly. I have never been more satisfied.... This place is the best tailor I have been to. They had exactly what I needed, and were able to complete the alteration in only a couple hours for a rush job and they did not even charge me extra. They had the specific material I was looking and did an amazing job. I even came to pick up my clothing after their closing time. Overall, this is was a very professional homely family run business. Excellent and quality service! I've been bringing all of my clothing here to be tailored for a couple of years. At 5'2" it's hard to find pants that don't need hemming. And in this modern world of online shopping there are frequently times I need to get clothing slightly altered to fit right. This is my go to place. You won't find kinder staff, or better quality service. Turn around time is quick too. I highly recommend!

I really wish Google would let you rate in the negatives! This is the worst business to deal with EVER! DO NOT GO HERE! Every time my wife went in for a fitting, nothing was done! Finally got the dress back only three days before the wedding! As we picked it up so late there was no time to try it on at the store before bringing it home. Good thing she decided to try it on, as the tailor RUINED THE DRESS! only three days before the wedding and we were searching for a qualified seamstress to undo all the damage caused by the incompetent "instyle tailoring" I called the owner of the business who stated she doesn't care. She refused to refund our money, even though we had to pay someone else to fix all her errors. THIS BUSINESS HAS NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING, I WOULDNT TRUST THEM TO WASH MY SOCKS, MUCH LESS ALTER A WEDDING DRESS!!!!!!!

I've had a couple things done here including dry cleaning for my suits, pants hemming, dress shirt collar alterations, and shortening the sleeves on a peacoat. All my interactions with the staff were positive and they were always courteous. There were a few times I went there not knowing what alternations I wanted but I always got good advice. I feel like the suit cleanings are a little on the pricier side, but I haven't had a problem yet.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! PHONE CALL MORE IMPORTANT!! I was in the night before for a quote and the possibilities for a dress adulteration. I thought it was a high quote so I went home to think about it. In the morning I decided to go for it because it was close to home. When I got there ,she was on the phone fighting with someone. She put the phone down and proceeded to make out a work order. She asked me what size she said, and what did she quote me. She guessed the measurement. I said to her, do you want to remeasure to make sure? I could clearly see her mind wasn't on the dress. FINE, OK, put the dress back on. She went behind the curtain and proceeded to continue her phone fight. I stood there for 20 minutes 1/2 naked waiting for her. She did a sloppy measurement and started the work order again. She then put an outrageous price and I would have never even considered that amount. I said that it was way too much. She got mad and said well that is what it is. I said fine i will go somewhere else. She said ok and went back to her phone fight. I got the dress off and yelled to the back"You have horrible customer service!!" Grabbed the work order and left!!! Went to another Tailor and she was $200.00 less and also the dry cleaning was a way less. First time there and the last! Brutal

This lady is amazing. I don't know what these people are talking about her being "snappy and rude". She's clearly one of the nicest people I've ever came across. It was my first time in on Tuesday, I had 2 jeans that needed hemming and 2 others that needed to be taken in down the whole leg and hemmed. She accidently charged me for 1 take in and 3 hemmings. When I went in to pick up on Friday she refused to take more money from me and I had paid in advance in case I got someone to pick them up for me and she was extremely grateful for the tip I left on tuesday. This woman clearly loves her job and the people she deals with. Reasonable prices and incredible service. I will definitely be back.

I've taken my jeans here previously and they came back a tad shorter than I would have liked but not a big deal. But just as the other reviews state, avoid taking your dresses here. If you do, make sure you have plenty of time before the day in case they mess up and try it on before you pay and go. I brought in a bridesmaid dress with the shoes I planned on wearing with it. I have a petite frame and needed the length altered. She suggested I also take in the sides to the dress. She gave me the pick up date and I was on my way. On pick up day evening, I get there and she apologized that she was too busy, the dress was not ready. I completely understood and wa told it would be ready tomorrow. The next day evening, my dress still wasn't ready. She said she needed 5 more mins. I was a bit irritated but didn't want to make another trip back so I waited. 20 mins later, she apologized and gave me a $5 discount, I paid my $95. I thought it was pricey since the dress didn't have layers or beading but I'm not a seamstress, neither did I want to waste even more time arguing. Fast forward to the wedding day half way around the world in Hong Kong, I put the dress on and find out the dress was still too long. For the whole night, I was tripping over it. I'm not sure what I paid $95 for. Needless to say I'm not very happy with the whole experience and won't be going back.

I had the sleeves on my suit jackets shortened. I accurately came here because of the great reviews, and reviews are true. They did a wonderful job and it was done on time. The owner is very friendly and professional. Also they are very good at what they do. Even though it is are not cheap, but definitely worth the price as their careful work is reflective on their finishing products. Nothing like a good tailor you can trust. Excellent, friendly service and these guys know what they're doing. I went in for alterations on my Wedding Dress by referral from the salesperson. Owner listened to my concerns, suggested adding cups for extral support, I had brought in Alfred Sung straps & belt with delicate Swarovski crystals to be added (unfortunately belt lost in Mexico but can be replaced), added carefully by their seamstress. Dress is layered with rouching so more complex but after alterations couldn't even tell, even added a bustle so it wouldn't get wrecked on the beach. The owner offered to see if she could sell it for me on consignment so if anyone looking for size 12 flattering "Dream Wedding Dress", she has since nicely cleaned, packed & boxed it & it can be seen on my Facebook page & brought down to the Tailors with notice ahead of time (message me so we can make arrangements) sold as is, it's looking for a new bride to show it off!!! I definitely trust In-Style Tailors & came into the city just for them to alter & clean my dress!

Came in for a basic pant hem nothing major. Could not give me a pickup date at time of payment and said they would call when it's done. Almost 2 weeks later call the store and it had been completed and the staff member who answered the call was not professional at all. She did not take the time to listen to what was being asked when info of drop off date was provided. Kept saying "we can do it" well that's what could be heard as she was not clear when speaking. Will not he returning.

I needed a quick sewing job done to a garment and the staff was super helpful. They had the sewing done quickly, at a very fair price, and were very nice to deal with. I’m definitely recommending this place to others.

RIDICULOUS. I come in january for a grad dress hemming, and the lady taking my measurement seems so preoccupied with the phone and other things, that i dont even know if she accurately pinned my dress. I get told to pick up my dress on february 19th, aka family day, by a guy on the phone assuring me that they were open. The only reason I came here was because I got a 15% discount from the store I bought my dress from, as it is in north edmonton and i live 50 minutes northwest. I show up on the 19th to find that they were closed. and i return the next day to find that the alterations on my dress werent even made????? The lady adds another 5% discount (a real difference considering the 60$ ive spent on gas already). I finally pick it up today, feb 23, to find myself being seriously overcharged. Never ever coming back here and I suggest you find someone else to do your tailoring, an establishment that actually cares about detail and their customers for gods sake.
