Giovanni is one of the few bespoke tailors in western Canada. He won't rest until your happy with the fit. Handmade, custom suits at prices comparable to the high end retailers. Worth it.

I was quoted for a job $80-$100 to take in my arms, which I agreed too. Over a month later I had to inquire about if it was completed, which they said it was. I got there and they asked for $190 for arms AND shoulders! I said the quote was for $80 and they told me before they couldn't do anything with the shoulders. I ended up paying $150 to get two arms taken in slightly - NOT IMPRESSED! The lady there was really helpful and understanding though.

Brought in a custom suit made overseas, and the sleeves were too short. When he heard where I had the suit made, he immediately scoffed and made me feel ashamed of where I purchased the suit. He then said it would cost $90 to make the alterations, ending with "take it or leave it". I was polite throughout the encounter and even thanked him before leaving. I would have went ahead with the order however I did no appreciate being treated in this rude manner, and left. Went to Henry's the tailor and had a great experience there. More affordable, and great customer experience.

We took him a ladies coat that was too expensive to let go just because it didn't fit. He found a solution and expertly executed it, making it looks like it had always been that way. His work is precice, thoughtful and considered. A true old world tailor that any man would be happy to have a suit (or 3) from. 5 star!

Great work by a great team! They get to know who you are, what "suits" you (pardon the pun) and then build you a beautiful garment. Giovanni is a true artist and glad to see he is mentoring a fine young man to follow in his rather large footsteps.

Don't go to Giovanni if you would like a modern suit made. He is a good tailor, but communication was difficult throughout the process. The pants on my suit came out horribly because he was not used to the modern fit. I will not be going back.
