Two things. I went in to have a zipper repaired on a fleece jacket liner. I was quoted 6 bucks for the repair. While getting the quote, I was asked if I wanted it washed (washed - it's a cheap fleece) . Sure I said. Got a 32 dollar bill for drycleaning on top of the repair bill. What happened to washing it I asked? The satin was too hard to get out. Sure Second, dropped off my wife's dress on a Tuesday for pickup Saturday. Nobody showed up Saturday to open the store so I left after 10 mins. Wife not happy. Went back to get the dress on Sunday and the woman told me she was delayed because of the train derailment (which was there the day before BTW). You should have called she said. There's no phone number on the front of the store I said. It's online she replied, followed by a vacant look. Thanks for the great service experience. I will never use this place again.

Friendly, but after multiple return trips on various items over the last year I'm finished with this tailor . Attention to detail is just not there. Unfinished and forgotten tasks makes me wonder if they need new staff, or what needs to change. Wish them the best, but I'll be going elsewhere

Took 6 jackets in to get dry cleaned. Upon arriving I was greeted by the owner who was polite and very professional. She made me feel really confident that I can rest assure that she would do a great job. I was leaving $5000 worth of jackets with them so of course I needed to be absolutely sure that this is a good place. Picked up my jackets today and was absolutely amazed how great the job was. As a bonus the owner also does shoe cleaning, so I got a pair of my golf shoes cleaned. Very happy customer here. Very trust worthy business.

Excellent dry cleaning service! I had my white Canada goose down jacket and two blazers(silk and wool)dry cleaned. My white jacket looks like new! I am so happy because I had makeup/face stains on the front and dirt on the arms and pockets. It all came out! I had been refused service elsewhere because they didn’t want to risk cleaning a white jacket with black cuffs. You can 100% get your Canada goose jacket done here! My blazers look like new as well.

Truly are 5 star. I've had bridesmaid dresses altered here as well as taken all of our dress winter coats for dry cleaning. They are reasonably priced and do a great job--and can pull off rushes if you need it! Highly recommend!

I had to come back for a 2nd fitting two days before I needed the dress because they didnt fit me right the first time. So my time was wasted and they added another $30 when they fit me the second time. I came in on the the day I needed to wear it because their hours didn't work with my shift the day before and they hadn't done anything but rip the hem open. So I got shotty 2 hour work which ruined my dress cause they tightened the straps too much and now my favorite dress cuts into me at the armpits and I can't lift my arms in it anymore. I paid just under $100 for them to make my fav dress unwearable.

Very nice lady, but lacked knowledge as a seamstress, ruined my dress, not once, but twice. Finally had to go to another tailors and dish out more money to get my dress fixed.

I dropped off on a Monday, the owner said I would have back Tuesday. When I called Tuesday they told me the dry cleaning wouldn’t be ready now until Friday. She apologized and said the dry cleaning would be no charge. I bought two new shirts because I didn’t have my clothes back in time. When I went in on Saturday to pick there was a note on the door saying they closed early. When I finally picked up on Sunday she said she didn’t remember any of the conversation, the shirts could have been picked up Tuesday, and she still charged me for the shirts. Terrible.

Got my two year old daughters dress dry cleaned from here. There was a food stain on the dress that needed to be cleaned. Paid $15 to get the stain removed (which I thought was a bit overpriced), but when i picked up the dress, the stain was still visible. Now I can understand that sometimes stains can get a bit hard to clean after they have settled in to the fabric and I would have settled for that explanation, BUT, there were still food particles pasted on to the dress. I raised my concerns with the older Asian lady at the front desk that spoke little english, but all I got was a smile and then the she just walked away. Needless to say, I won't be going back here. They had one job (remove the food from the dress and clean the stain) and they failed at it. Their inability to provide the slightest bit of customer service to help address the matter was a disappointment. Don't waste your time and money here. Go elsewhere.

I was surprised by the negative reviews for this establishment. I have been using 5 Star Tailors for two years now. I take in things to be tailored, repaired, dry-cleaned. I have taken in men's and women's items. I am new to Edmonton and I had tried two previous service providers that were just awful. When I used 5 Star for the first time I thought it was amazing compared to the other sub par services I had tried in the area. Everything has been returned with great work. I had a whole zipper replaced on a jacket and it was very reasonably priced and Tu Nguyen went out of her way to color match it. When a small locally owned outfit is ran by a few women I understand I may have to wait at the counter while they finish up a phone call. I'm happy to support 5 Star Tailors, thank you for the great experience.

Always a friendly greeting upon arrival, and I’ve never had issues with my alterations. Will ask when I need it by and will always do their best to accommodate. We never hesitate to bring our clothing here.

Picked up coat after it has been dry cleaned for stain removal. Asked if the 3 stains on front of coat were removed. The reason I brought the coat in was to have the stains removed. Was told that the cost would be $40 and initial Clerk place stickers on coat to flag the stained spot at drop-off. For pick-up was told by Sales Clerk that if stains could not be removed, a sticker would have been placed on the garment. We checked the coat and the stains are still there. It was clear that the coat had been dry clean but no time was spent on trying to remove the stains. Was charged $51. Five Stars I am very disappointment at the poor service received. I accessed your service based on recommendations.

Amazing service and quality! I needed a mesh bodysuit tailored in 3 different parts and a lace applique sown down and it turned out perfect. The material is kinda weird and probably hard to work with, but they made it look great! Highly recommend :)
