Exceptional customer service. Even better quality and skill. I have had many suits "altered" and none of them fit as comfortably as the two I had done here. He also did the alterations under a time crunch for me. When I came back for minor adjustments he had them done quickly at no extra charge. Very friendly and professional. A bit pricier than others, but that is fine with me considering the quality. You get what you pay for.

Best tailor in town in my opinion! I have to tailor almost every pair of jeans I buy as they are always huge in the waist if they fit my butt and hips. He does a fantastic job at a fair price and is super fast. Highly recommend!

I was in and out very quickly, Bill clearly knows his stuff. Bill made recommendations I never would have thought of, and with everything said and done, my suits and shirts fit perfectly. I had a really frustrating experience with Fashion Tailors. I had purchased a silk sheath wedding dress online and wanted to have it tailored. After reading the reviews for Fashion Tailors I felt confident bringing my dress in. When I went in for my consultation the tailor made it seem that he was very comfortable with what needed to be done and the work was quoted at $200. A few weeks passed and I didn't hear from him so I followed up. When I went in to try the dress it fit just OK, was very wrinkled and the front looked different but I couldn't out my finger on how. When I got it home I realized that he had added an additional seam to the dress (at the waist) without my permission. It ended up really ruining the line of the dress. It also didn't fit very well along the hips or under the arms. I felt discouraged thinking that I had bitten off more than I could chew, but didn't realize just how much of the problem was that the dress had been altered incorrectly. I returned two months later to ask him to take the underarms in a bit further (I was nervous to have him do anything else as I didn't want further issues) and was charged an additional $70 as I was coming back more than 30 days after the first alterations. When the dress was done it still fit poorly (was pulling across my hips and twisting due to side adjustments) and had a grease stain on the front. I was devastated. I really wanted to shove the dress in the back of a closet and never look at it again but my fiance pushed me to take it elsewhere to see if it could be salvaged. A friend recommended a wonderful seamstress who was able to assess what had been done. Basically a lot of short cuts had been made to reduce the work needed and as a result the dress had additional seams, uneven hems and a weird twist to it. I am now paying an additional $180 to make me feel comfortable using it. And am pretty devastated that nothing can be done about the horrible uneven seam added at the waist that ruins the clean look of a silk sheath. I believe that this tailor would do a decent job with more basic alterations, but this was outside of the scope of what he could do and I really wish he had been honest with me. Also, he was not transparent with me about what would be done to my gown. And I don't feel that he took the care that a wedding dress requires. I

Based on good reviews, I took in a three piece suit for my wedding to have it tailored. The jacket and vest had to be taken in but the pants fit almost perfectly. I was unsure of what shoes I was going to wear, and planned to wait to have the trousers hemmed. I told the tailor this as he measured, but he convinced me that he knew what he was doing so I agreed to have them hemmed, thinking it would save me a trip. I also asked to have buttons added in the trousers for suspenders. I went back to pick up the suit a week later and the sleeves of the jacket had been shortened rather than lengthened. I was pretty disappointed and he agreed to have the problem resolved by the next day. When I went back the second time, the sleeves had been lengthened to the correct length. It was somewhat noticeable that they had been shortened but I am unsure if it would have looked like if they had been lengthened on the first attempt. I was told that the buttons were added free of charge instead of being given a discount on the other tailoring - it was expensive overall as it was a lot of work on the jacket. The other work seemed alright as the jacket fit well. Later, after purchasing the shoes and trying the trousers on, they were far too short and had to be lengthened. I blame myself somewhat for being convinced to have them hemmed without bringing the shoes with me, but I wish I would not have been told that it could be done without error. I chose to use another tailor to have the pants hemmed rather than risk multiple trips to Fashion Tailors again. I will not be returning with any other work.

My mother is 89 years old. Shopping at this age is a real challenge and Covid makes the risks even higher for the elderly. I took her to have a pair of pants altered. The proprietor did the adjustments perfectly and safely. Recognizing that I was from a different city, he even prioritized the alterations so I could pick them up for her! Definitely five star service and quality.
