Unprofessional owners. The owner refuses to pay people for work they do she needs the money so she can get drunk at her own bar and berate people. If you ever work for them they will intentionally try to screw you over. Bad place with bad people.

Staff was really nice and respectful but I discovered some bed bugs in my room and wasn’t able to move rooms? I don’t know why they’d be okay with a customer in a room with bed bugs but they did.

I hope they take down their "biker friendly" sign, because the old woman at the counter was anything but. They were fully booked, which I understand, but she suggested no alternatives and refused to offer any sort of guidance. I had agreed with a friend to meet her their for dinner at 7. I arrived a little early and asked for the Wi-Fi password so I could confirm with my friend on messenger (I'm traveling on motorcycle from South Carolina so I have no cell service and depend on wifi). I was told it's only for hotel guests. When I explained my predicament and asked if I could just get on to send a message, I was told in response "that's not my problem. It's only for guests". It's a shame, is what it is. Avoid this hotel. Avoid their bar too. The bar was actually pretty nice, had good beer, was reasonably priced, and was well tended. I'm just angry that I had to leave and run to McDonald's to send a simple message and find out my friend was simply running a half hour behind.

The Town and Mountain is plain-Jane, 2-star hotel, and much better than it looks from the outside. Our recently renovated room was clean and comfortable; everything worked. There was no hair dryer, you need to go to the front desk for that. We found the location convenient, within walking distance to amenities. Our room overlooked the road, but it was quiet at night. If you have mobility issues you should be aware that this three-story building has no elevator and I believe that all rooms are on the second and third floors. The Town and Mountain is good option in Whitehorse.

Super friendly staff. Hotel is pretty dated, but their TV is nice. Wifi is terrible unfortunately so don't rely on it. For $130 I'd expect a 5* place, but in Whitehorse that's about par for the course...
