If I could give a zero star I would but since that isn’t an option, 1 star will have to do. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The customer service was embarrassing. I paid/booked my room weeks out and show up at 2am from a 12 hour drive day to have the front counter tell me that there are no rooms available and they aren’t taking in guests. I tried calling 6 times through out the day to confirm my booking and I got no answer every time. It took me to ask in an upset tone why nobody had called or emailed me to let me know there was apparently no availability and they had quickly made up a room in 15 minutes. While I was waiting I tried calling the hotel to see if they’d pick up and their phones didn’t even ring. What a joke and terribly ran hotel.
On top of that, the room was very inconvenient. The toilet seat wasn’t even put on correctly, the beds were hard, there were only 2 pillows on the bed (that part is picky but most hotels put 4 on the bed, and I just so happen have to have 4 pillows to sleep comfortably). There wasn’t even a comforter on the bed, you can call them sheets. The window sill had duck tape across it, the bathroom caulking was peeling and rundown. The wifi was slow and constantly kicked me off. There was no parking, I wouldn’t even call it a parking lot with how small it was. The hotel itself was just a joke and I had never felt so dirty at any hotel before.
If the hotel had the decency to turn guests away, and not even let them know, why would you be in business? I don’t even want to hear about Covid as an excuse, because if you’re that paranoid, then close you’re doors permanently.
A hotel that turns guests away, and doesn’t care about the upkeep is an automatic shut down for me.
