Beautiful job on the hair. Make up needed to be corrected though and the original make up artist wasn't available I guess so she told the lady who helped us that it was a bruise that she just couldn't cover up. This made me quite upset. I would've noticed a bruise that dark on my daughters face. After insisting it was not, she agreed to try and fix it. When she was finished it looked superb and she apologized and agreed it definitely was not a bruise. I wish I had taken note of names as I am still a little unnerved at the first girl's claim. I just cannot believe she would lie to cover the fact that she messed up a little. All in all a great place though. We were happy in the end and grateful to the lady who fixed her up. We will be back.

I don't ever leave reviews, but my girlfriend and I came here and left very dissatisfied and want the owners to know. Not having presentable chairs for us to sit in or functional jet soakers is embarrassing. I booked this and was mortified when my friend and I saw the condition of the chairs or that the jets didn't work for our pedicure. The girls were great and we tipped them well, but the spa is clearly lacking some good management and upkeep. A poor spa experience that could be easily fixed.

I had a pedicure with Tamara and it was the best one that I have had. I went in with dry, painful, cracked heels and she actually dealt with the issue. My heels are not sore at all today, so I know that she did not take too much off, but they are also no longer cracked and are back to a healthy state. So glad that I went in, and would recommend to anyone looking for an actual pedicure that not only makes your toes look nice at the end, but also deals with your feet issues to book in with Tamara.

Absolutely disgraceful and prejudiced customer service. My mother in law went in excited to get a haircut and was refused service and not even offered a time to schedule an appointment. The lady who she talked to was unfriendly and didn’t even look to see when an available time would be. My mother in law is an indigenous woman who was ready to spend money at this establishment but came home upset and hurt. I would not recommend this place to anyone with basic human compassion. Please spend your money elsewhere and support businesses that believe in equal and fair treatment. I am disgusted with this service and will never spend my money here, nor will my family or friends.

Got a pedicure. Nothing special but cost over $60. I went before supper and went out on a date at 10pm and sadly, my nail polish seemed ruined because I put on shoes. ???? what a waste of money.

I am very unhappy with the final result of my hair cut that I got at Jerry's Hair Design. To begin with I simply asked for a cut and some blonde highlights to freshen up my hair a bit. It was dyed completely bleach blonde, to which I complained and asked for weave highlights to make it look more natural and all they really did was dye my roots and put a few highlights in. Also, as you can see the cut is absolutely horrible. I asked for a cut and a few layers and there are literally chunks of hair just randomly cut and it is not even at all. They did not listen to what I wanted and it will take months for my hair to grow back to normal. For a salon that charges $250 for a cut and colour, my hair should not look like this.

Terrible customer service! I booked an appointment online using the website and received a confirmation email immediately. I was very disappointed to show up for my appointment and have the receptionist inform me (very rudely) that she didn't have any record of my appointment. She tried to blame it on me, saying that because I booked the appointment the day before, the appointment wouldn't show in the system, or that I must have the wrong date. After showing her my confirmation email, she continued to act defensively and unapologetically. They were unable to accommodate me (for a 15 minute wax I might add) which was very frustrating when I had planned my whole day around this appointment and driven all the way there. Upon trying to reschedule, the girl working at reception was again extremely unhelpful and only suggested one alternate time, during which I was unavailable. While I recognize that it is not the girl working at the front desks fault that my appointment was not recorded for whatever reason, the way she dealt with the mishap was unacceptable. She was incredibly rude, and insincere in her trying to right this situation. Also, as a note to the owner/manager, what is the point of having an online booking system if you do not honour the appointments made there? I also suggest reviewing courteous ways to speak to customers with your reception staff. I will happily take my business elsewhere from now on and tell others I know to do the same.

No accommodation for people with disabilities. I brought my mom to Jerry's yesterday to get her toe nails polished. She has been a regular customer at Jerry's but recently suffered a stroke and became confined to a wheelchair. So, I explained to the staff that my mom was unable to move to the pedicure chair. The chairs are perched on a bit of a platform and it would have been too difficult and unsafe for my mom to get in and out of one. I asked the staff member if they would accommodate my mom and polish her toes while she stayed in her wheelchair. The staff member quickly refused, explaining that it would be too "inconvenient." I suggested several options for how she could work on my mom's toes in different configurations with my mom in her wheelchair, her feet perched up and the esthetician across from her. The esthetician rudely refused all scenarios. I explained my disappointment to the front desk employees and they offered no solution. They only explained that the esthetician's use of the word "inconvenient" was probably a language barrier issue. We left without any service. Luckily, we found another nail salon in the same mall - Q-Nails. In complete contrast to how Jerry's handled the situation, they instantly agreed to work on my mom's feet from her wheelchair, and did the work cheerfully. It became clear that the work could easily be done with rearrangement from the typical setup. I was surprised and disappointed that Jerry's staff refused to provide a rather basic accommodation to someone with a disability. The staff showed no consideration or empathy. Our family will not be going back to this salon.

I thought that the spa would have improved since I last came in. It hasn't. The same gross worn down chairs are still there and the jets in the tubs still don't work. It's a shame because I really like the location but for the price I'm paying for both myself and my friends it's not worth it. I don't want the subpar experience you get with Jerry's. You're better off going to some of the other spas in the city that are better able to upkeep and aren't letting their spa go down hill.

Was a client there a few times. Last time I received a haircut was sold a product that I was unhappy with and did not use (Absolutely wrong color) Was told by staff that I could exchange it. A few weeks later I attempted to do this. The front desk agreed but then summoned the owner to approve the transaction who then asked me sarcastically "what am I supposed to do with it (the product)?" I explained what the front staff had promised adding that "it is better to lose 30 bucks and keep the customer. Most clients are worth far than a bottle of overpriced hairspray and businesses know this." In fact I had another appointment booked that same evening. The owner asked me angrily if I had a degree in business and told me (as he was forcefully gesturing) to "get out of my store!" I was surprised at his aggression and suggested he contain himself as he stood there literally trembling with anger. When I stood my ground simply flabbergasted at the exchange he threatened to call security. I walked out of the store of course and was halfway through the mall when I heard the owner's voice. He had actually followed me some distance! He pleaded that I return to the store to get a full refund. I did this -believing he was not the owner after all and perhaps an apology was on the way - only to find two security guards waiting outside the store. The owner then began frantically ranting again this time claiming that I had assaulted him and that he did not want me in his store. The three of us stood by and watched the display. One of the security personnel stated to the store owner " she was not returning to your store." The other said " I have not seen her do anything." Still fuming the owner demanded that I be banned from the mall. I walked away again and left the appalling display of deceit. Bullying like this in a public place in Canada is truly rare and I can only attribute the exchange to racism and outright ignorance -where all discrimination stems. I concur with a former reviewer. There are far superior salons where clients are treated respectfully. Go elsewhere.

I have been going to Jerry's for a while and I have never had a bad experience. The front desk staff is always so polite and helpful and accommodating! I get my hair done with Britney and my spa treatments done with Elvira, and both are professional, warm, caring, and very talented. They have a huge selection of hair, nail, and skin products for sale, and I love that I can book my own appointments on their website after hours. Even my young son goes there to get hair cuts, and he loves it! I cannot say enough good things about Jerry's!

I went into the salon on a whim, hoping I could find a shampoo/conditioner to help with my hair. I find my hair was feeling so coarse and rough, not to mention with it also greying, the texture was really feeling unpleasant to me. The young lady working suggested her favourite, Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging products. She raved about them and I was so excited to try them! I was NOT disappointed. Like she told me, from the first shower, my hair felt completely different. It was soft and supple, and just felt incredible. I bought a b&b blow dry cream also, so altogether my hair feels amazing!!!! The young lady herself gave me a genuine, wonderful experience and was a rarity to come across in customer service! I felt like she listened to my needs and delivered fully on her recommendations. I wish I remembered the young lady's name, but THANK YOU!!!!!

I was so disappointed with my experience at this spa. I had two treatments, a massage and a pedicure. The relaxation massage was anything but relaxing. First off the oil was not warm so that was very uncomfortable. My therapist when standing at the front of the table leaned so hard onto my head while massaging my back and shoulders my neck was tense the entire time. She was leaning forward like one would lean against a counter top. My head was getting pushed in the entire time she was working on my upper back. At one point she placed a hot towel on my bare back and it was scorching hot. She had placed a stool below the face portion of the bed to allow greater comfort for my arms and hands to rest but she kept kicking it each time she was near it making i near impossible to relax. Next came the pedicure where the water was also scorching hot. I had to wait about 15 minutes while she ran around gathering her instruments and cleaning out the massage room. The rest of the pedicure was somewhat enjoyable which is the only reason i gave the experience any start at all. Upon paying for my services I had to ask for the advertised 15% off as it was not given to me originally until i questioned the charges. I strongly suggest to the owners/management to receive services from their esteticians and evaluate to ensure good service.

Took my daughter for a haircut at this place. All she wanted was a nice trim as her hair was nice, straight and very long. We were very disappointed as the girl kept cutting until it was shorter than what she wanted. She also asked my daughter to stand the whole time while cutting her hair. Instead of just doing a simple trim she also thinned out her ends which makes some of her hair sticks out all over. Came home and there's my daughter complaining that her hair is uneven. The right side is shorter than the left! For the price we paid I was expecting and would think that you can get a well trained hairstylist and no hair wash either. I could've taken her next door to magic cuts for half of what we paid!

Went to the salon today with my sister Catherine, I was trying to treat her for her birthday. I got Simi as my stylist and Catherine believes the stylist name was James that did her hair. We enjoyed our time there but still had a bit of an issue. Just want to say both stylists were very professional and they seemed to know what they were doing. Simi gave me great tips for how to do my hair as I was not quite sure what to get and my hair turned out great. The issue is that I guess they are training a new girl at reception and a few errors came up because of that. Apparently the stylists were double booked with other clients, leaving the stylists rushed and probably a little stressed. While James was processing my sisters hair he had another client come in and he cut her hair while waiting for Catherines to process. Which seemed odd to me. My hair was done before my sisters and she heard the stylists saying how Simi was supposed to leave an hour before that. Catherine's hair ended up way lighter than she wanted it, I'm sure the stylist used too high of a concentration of the bleach due to rushing to have it finished. So although we enjoyed our time, we left less than satisfied, but we believe we would have had a great time had our stylists not been crunched for time. A little more communication would have fixed all the issues. If we were told before hand (like when the salon called me the morning of our appointment) that the stylists were double booked, my sister and I could have booked for another time. We are pretty understanding as we both work in customer service but I'm disappointed my sister was not happy with her birthday gift. She will be seeing another salon to have her hair fixed.

My experience today was just terrible.... I went to the salon for highlights and a haircut. I left with a stained hair and a long bob haircut completely misaligned. I asked for highlights and showed pictures of how I’d like my hair done, what I’ve got? Exactly the opposite! My hair was all bleached and toned back and I got a crooked haircut. This was my second visit to the salon. I only came back because I liked the first service. However, the person who did my hair on the first visit doesn’t work there anymore. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I did not pay for the highlights, but I paid for the haircut, which I only realized it was screwed up when I got home! Very, very disappointed.

I have been numerous times. I received excellent services. I am a repeat customer and I have had Iryna do my nails and a pedicure and couldn't be happier with my services. I also had a hot stone massage and would recommend it to anyone ????. She was very pleasant and I have already rebooked. I have also been a regular client with Kelly as she does my hair and I have always received so many compliments on the color and style. Wouldn't go to anyone else. Kelly has fantastic knowledge of what would suit your face and the perfect style to wear. Her knowledge of colors is top notch. She is an absolute treasure. ????
