Skip the chop shop......Save your money and your nails. My daughter convinced me to make her an appointment here for gel nails as she said this was where all of her friends were going. Being that I had to drive her, I made my own appointment for a mani/pedi. We booked her with Lisa for gel nails, she ended up with someone else who did a lousy job. My pedicure consisted of a foot soak and nail polish. After being harassed non-stop to get gel, I agreed. What a mistake. They bubbled within the first week. My daughter convinced me to go back saying that it must have been because of the Xmas rush. We returned. Instead of soaking off my nails they filed them off with an electric nail file. My cuticles were brutalized. Then she used a top coat that was so thick my nails looked like a 5 year old had painted them. My nails are now a mess because of the filing. When they were doing my daughters nails they nicked her cuticle quite badly. They ignored it until I went to the table and asked why she was bleeding. It hasn't healed yet. Not sure they use sterilized equipment.This place should not be open for business.

the first time i came to fantasy nails i had an amazing experience, a friend of mine told me to try them out so i left the original lady i usually saw to try it out once.. the girl helping me was so kind and sweet so i decided to return to them to get my nails done once again. This time however, I had the worst experience, i'm beyond disappointed. I felt rushed the entire time, the lady didnt try to make a conversation with me, i didnt get to look at colors for my nails, when i tried to make a phone call because my kid was at the babysitters she told me not to. She had me in and out in 20 minutes. I spent 55 dollars on a plain white set when i was willing to spend even 100 dollars on my nails as they are for my sisters wedding in jamaica. i am very upset with how i was treated and was left in tears on my way home. I do think fantasy nails is amazing, i am just angry with how i got treated.. also, i was not a walk in. i made an appointment so they knew they had a client coming for that time and there was NO reason for me to be rushed.

Called to make a last minute appointment and was thankfully fit in. Once i arrived I was asked to use hand sanitizer and take a mask that were both provided at the front desk. Terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. First time their and it definitely will be my last! The staff were so rude. I went with one of my friends and they rushed us the whole time. Down to picking a color... AND painting our nails. When finished my nails looked like a kindergartner painted my nails. The so called “nail tech” couldn’t even do a basic simple design. It was sickening! This is how you treat your first time customers? I will most definitely be spreading the word around and warn others NOT to come here. I

Booked a Royal Pedicure with Wendy (Pooja) and it was amazing. She took her time and listened to exactly what I wanted. Her massage with hot stones and towels was amazing and so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone wanting a deluxe pedicure.

Made a very last minute appointment on a Saturday morning to get my acrylics filled, and I got an appointment two hours later despite the salon being busy. Lisa was so accommodating and fixed up my nails that had been botched at another salon in the city. She was incredibly fast and paid great attention to detail, despite the salon being insanely busy. Lisa kindly explained what was wrong with my previous fill, and I left with absolutely beautiful nails. The pricing can’t be beat either! 10/10 recommend!

I Had an appointment for a Medi/pedi on Dec. 28/17. The girl doing my Pedicure used a gadget that looked like a Cheese Grater to remove dry skin and cut my little toe. Two weeks later and it still has not healed. My feet were left rough from the Grater, so I had to use a Pumice file at home to smoothen them. Another girl did my Manicure and filed my nail beds before applying the Shellac polish, leaving my nails weak. The Shellac Polish didn't even last a week and a half and my nails split. Very Disappointed

Honestly really bad experience. My nails are now 10 different lengths and sizes not to mention they didn’t even paint my nails properly. They don’t use a proper cuticle trimmer they just use the same buffer to buff out ur cuticles as they use for your nails, lol they buffed too far into my cuticles and made them bleed. The lady that did my nails wasn’t very nice either tbh. Don’t recommend this place ‍♀️

I dont appreciate anyone refusing a service without even understanding what I want. They refuse to put regular polish on my nails and insist i do a fill now. When all i wanted was the polish removed and replaced with regular polish. I also want my nails buffed the Wednesday and the Monday I would have booked a fill for a full service when I was free. The owner kept saying she needs to make an appointment eventhough I did make a 5:30 appointment. She needs to come back another day because we close at 7 and I am not staying here past 7. I really liked this place and I would forgive the fact that they REUSE BUFFERS, but they were rude. Strike 3

Best nail salon I’ve ever been to! They are all so talented the only thing I find with them I that every time I make an appointment I always have to wait 20-45 minutes due to walk ins. So maybe don’t plan anything else around your visit! I understand this happens sometimes but it seems to be every visit and it’s just a bit frustrating. Less than a week after my gel powder, my nails all started to look yellow. Yesterday one of my tips popped off and we saw that I had a fungus from this salon. I went to another salon to get them soaked off, and all off and 4 nails have fungus. I haven't yet contacted the salon but honestly the only thing I am interested in is a refund. The health department really needs to take a good look at this place. DISAPPOINTED.

I started going to Fantasy Nails 5 months ago, based on their high ratings, which I found to be very accurate. The effort and kindness that Lisa and all of her staff have made to build a relationship with their clients is part of the reason why I go back everytime. I have also never been disappointed with their work. Since Covid-19 they have implemented and followed all the protocols and have kept everything clean and sanitized. My favourite thing they’ve done is took the samples off the rings and made a board with all of them displayed making it easier to look at all your options, choose a colour and is also much more sanitary. I love Fantasy Nails and would recommend you check them out its 100% worth it!

Made an appointment for pedicure & manicure with acrylic tips...... they were very nice but rushed pedicure with ZERO massage. Manicure seems to be going well and then I notice how crooked my thumb nail is. I mention it’s lop sided & the girl basically refuses to fix it - making excuses that it will look different once it’s painted. I ask politely if she can please fix the tip. She says oh we are busy...... I reply yes, but it’s crooked..... she doesn’t fix it. Another customer is sitting with nails wrapped in tinfoil under the light.....with no one paying attention to her and lets the staff know “it’s burning my hands!” Two other women are waiting FOREVER with feet to be polished and I hear two asking how much longer etc......I pay & leave- then noticing how crooked two other nails are.

The old nail tech got really fussy because I was indecisive about the colour. I changed it twice and seemed to be very annoyed. No business ethics. it's a rip off. rude staff. Wouldn't recommend. Not coming back again. Horrible experience

I am a dedicated customer for 2 years now and my dedication was recognized today. After having an issue with my nails last week, I walked into the salon this morning without an appt. I was immediately directed toward a nail technician and my nails were fixed and made beautiful once again, without question, without charge. I usually go to a regular salon, however they were closed.. so my next pick was Fantasy ! As soon as i arrived i was well taken care of. Jen & Lisa , both cared for me like no other salon has.. considering i showed up 6:10 and they close 7 pm. they both stayed until 7:50 to make sure my experience was great and that my service was nothing but the BEST ! I felt amazing after leaving with my beautiful nail set. AMAZING prices !! This is the place to go if you love long blinged out nails ! The complete atmosphere of the salon was friendly and great, not to mention their gorgeous salon from the wall decor to the floor tiles ! absolutely beautiful, and clean!! very professional! All 5 stars well earned !

just had my first visit yesterday with my friend for an acrylic manicure and shellac pedicure, and overall i was pleased. the place itself is clean, although i wish the manicure tables were side by side so i could talk to my friend. the ladies working were very nice and made me feel welcome. i liked that the acrylic manicure didn't take long to do and one of the ladies actually made sure the nails were even, although i do take off 1 star because throughout the mani they did not cut my cuticles or ask me if i wanted them cut, i had to ask and even then it was a little rushed. the shellac pedicure was amazing, they even put a nice scrub on my feet. overall this place is good and i think i will come back

Not the place to get your real nails done. Color lasted 2 days before the polish started coming off in whole pieces. I do not think the lady used the right base coat and waited for my nails to dry before applying the top coat, never had that before, usually the salon does base coat, 2 color coats and then top coat and dry. My other 2 salons I use the polish lasts for 1.5-2 weeks before even a chip. Fantasy nails is still charging 13% even though July 1st Manitoba is now 12%

Was recommended to see Lisa and I was not let down! So friendly and fun. The way she was working with my nails showed how much experience she had. An other nail tech was painting my nails with a special top coat and it wasn't doing what it was supposed to be, so Lisa came and showed her how to fix it. Didn't get mad or anything just used it as a learning experience. My favourite nail salon I've been to in a long time! :)

Really nice staff. I got gel nails done and was really happy with the shape. When I called the next day because my nails felt a bit too long, they went above and beyond, and trimmed and shaped them for me right away at no cost. I was going on a trip days later and so it was hugely appreciated. I would definitely go back.

Ive only discovered Fantasy Nails beginning of 2018. Great place, great staff. Everyone here understands and speaks english very well for one, secondly they are very friendly and the cleanliness of this place is outstanding. They recently introduced me to liquid gel instead of powder and i absolutely love it ! Highly recommend each and everyone here. A huge recommendation i would say is to listen to your nail tech, they are the professional, if they have a suggestion i would say go with it. I couldnt be happier. They also do threading here which is a huge plus for me, its a one stop shop. Pedicure, nails, and threading ! Wendy does the treading and she is amazing.

This was my first time going to this nail salon. A friend recommended it to me to get my nails done for my birthday. I had lisa. They were so busy and her reasoning was because all their staff were on holidays. Lisa was busy at first so the receptionist had to start my shellac. Then Lisa came and did my colour. I got all black with two of the fingers that had silver strips. She rushed through the entire thing. By the end of it my thumb nail was extremely crooked its on a slant and the silver part looks like a 4 year old just slapped on some uneven glitter. Not impressed nor will i ever be back.

Crummy nail spa. I was over charged. They forgot to do the lotion after my pedicure. Not kid friendly at all. They talked to me like I was stupid and argued with me about what I wanted. I think her name was lee?

Went here for the first time for a gel nail fil. They were absolutely wonderful. My nails were shapes better than they were before, the place was beautiful, very very clean. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Not sure what to get for nails or color, leave it up to them. I just told them to surprise me. It's like they read my mind anyways lol. A lady names Lee did my nails. I hope she keeps working there as I highly recommend her. Nice with your hands, accurate and quick, very polite. Love this place!
