The technician did an amazing job. He was very thorough in getting rid of all my calloused skin, and the foot / leg massage was as skilled as what I've had from a massage therapist. I left the toe nail design to him and I liked that he didn't do the typical flower. I'll go back ????

I always come here for gel nails. Last visit was on August 14. About one week after I broke one of my nails from doing gardening (my fault, should’ve been more careful!). Anyways I stopped by to have it fixed. I was waiting to line to pay when the manager just told me don’t worry about it, its on the house! Not sure if it was because I am a regular, but awesome work and even better customer service.

My first visit for a pedicure was average. Second visit the young man cut me 2x, blood everywhere it was not a nice looking manicure either. I think he used the wrong lights for my shellac because it burned a lot. Gave them a 3rd try for some crazy reason. Average pedicure. Poor manicure. Nails are not shaped, cut down to stubs, gel was all over my skin. I had to pull my skin away from my nail she had them so stuck together. Looks like I painted them at home myself. For the prices they charge this place is NOT worth the visit.

THESE PEOPLE STEAL FROM YOU !!!!! I visited last week to get my nails done, I left my very expensive ray bans there. I visited again 2 days later as i was in the area and I was told by the lady who did my nails that she had left them at the front counter but are now not there, another two staff members confirmed they had also seen them there. They told me they would get the manager to call me and I left my details and said i would be in the next day. Next day, with no call from the manager, I was told the same thing, they had seen them at the counter but now they dont know where they are and they would get the manager to call me right away. Next day, STILL NO CALL, i called again spoke with the manager who knew nothing about having to call me and that she wasn't in yesterday but yet was able to tell me she was busy with paper work there? she told me they were not there, i said that it is obvious someone has stolen them as three people seen them there, they were very expensive and i want them back. She advised she would have her mother who is the owner phone me, I am still waiting on that call. I just got off the phone there to speak to the manager as to see what is happening with my call and they are not there. I am expecting that again i will have to call them back. They are completely lying and bullshitting me and I will be making a report about them ! Only reason they are getting a star is cause i have to put one to be able to post this !

I went there today to fix my nail. I was helped by a rude old woman her name is Hang she was really rude. She wanted me hang my nail over a light when she was supposed to use the uv light. I had no problem doing that if my back wasnt hurting. I was gonna come back for a pedicure but I was too frustrated. I will advice you to treat all your costumers equally.

Horrible place to get a pedicure. The person who was working on my nails wouldnt even look or smile at me. She kept turning her head when i look at her and smiled. Then when she used the scrub pad on my feet. She slapped the top of my feet. To make it look like she was doing her job. There was no top coat put on all my nails either. Then she threw the receipt at me and my mother. Who was also getting her nails done. And walked away to the other side to work on someone else. She was very cold and mean. When i got home my nail polish started coming off. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. If tou want to be treated with respect.

Disappointing. Because of a skin condition on my legs I asked just to do my feet. Technician Daryl did a cuticle trim, some callous work and nail polish. No cuticle softener, no massage and no lotion applied to my feet ! Not even close to a professional job. I expected better even at their prices. Have been here before with only a so-so pedicure. When I asked the receptionist for the techs name I am quite sure I heard her say Daryl. Whoever it was who did my service certainly did not do a full foot pedi in and I still payed full price. Poor service by someone in your salon.

I got gel nails, and they turned out worse than when I went in. The next day, 2 of my nails were starting to fall off already, there was bubbles in my nails and it looked like they had grown out for a solid 2 weeks already. The paint is chipping off on the second day. 55$ should get me better looking nails. Not impressed. Not recommended.

Came here to get my nails done for my birthday. Xuan was recommended after I asked for LCN nails. She was amazing, really took the time to make sure my nails are perfect the way I wanted it (and I am quite picky with my nails !) To say I am happy is an understatement, will definitely be coming back and also recommend my girlfriends as well !

My pedicure was great, but my husband went for the 1st time (never had a ped before)& really needed his heels scraped but they said he has dry heels not callous & doesn't need them done. Weird!!!Yet they did mine & I have a ped every month. Kinda a ripe off when we pd the same price for our ped.

Extremely disappointed with my manicure. The esthetician totally disregarded my request to keep the length of my nails. After filing my nails she slapped on the nail polish without applying a moisturizer. My hands felt dry af! I had to come home and apply lotion. Never again...

They took forever to get to my nails and by the time it was my turn they half-assed it to leave early since it was almost closing and they look terrible.. it was supposed to be a gift and they basically wasted my boyfriends money (55$).. If you really didn’t have the time to do it right then you should ask me to come back another time. If you’re gonna take forever on the ladies nails ahead of me.. btw that lady was in that chair way before I got there and she did hers flawless but they half-assed mine in 20 mins after making me wait 40 mins.. won’t be going back to that one sorry. My nails look ugly now, i regret going there..

Just went for pedicures with my wife. Friendly staff and lots of chairs. Feels very inviting (for someone like me not used to a nail place). They put you in a massage chair to feel comfortable. Communication is easy and their equipment/tools are very clean. The service is efficient and I hardly felt anything while I enjoyed the massage chair. The pedicure came with a nice leg massage and the hot towel at the end was a nice capper. My wife got designs painted as you can see in the picture and they had 2 different ladies work on those to make them perfect. Such a great job. Aloha Nails Southdale is worth a try.

Such an awful experience at this location. I got my nails done here twice & both times within a few days they snapped off. I had to go in SIX times to get them fixed and after a week of that I said I wanted a whole new set. They refused and told me that my nails breaking are my fault even though the nail artist said my nails were made too thin and they didn’t know why. Worst customer service ever.

I brought my elderly Mom in yesterday for a mani/pedi. Why is every employee wearing a mask?? They only spoke their language and didn’t attempt to talk to my Mom once and when she tried to speak to them they just looked at her blankly. When they were done they said “20 minutes to dry“ and left her in the chair. No dryers?? We waited 20 minutes, no one came to check if they were dry. The fellow who did her nails sat by the window on his phone. I put her socks and shoes on took her home, checked her toes and they were all smudged! Will not be back!

SO DISAPPOINTED. when I came In they said 30 min wait till a spot for me and my friend, when we came back 30 mins later we still had to wait 20 mins just to fit me in and my friend waited literally an hour. They would not accept an aloha nails gift card I recieved. They said it wasnt for their salon however when I argued they threatened to call the police on me. They use the same logo and are associated with all aloha nail salons..it is a franchise. Awful treatment...the mani pedi i had was terrible..i had 3 different people give me the mani and pedi....the mani started peeling off the very next day. The french manicure was crooked and streaked. Do not recommend. To top it all off they ripped me off and didnt give me the correct change when I paid...shorted me $3..HIGHLY ADVISE TO GO ELSEWHERE WHERE THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT

Pros: Very clean! Plastic liners are used in the foot tubs (not sustainable but definitely hygienic) and nail tools come in sterile packaging. Massage chairs are amazing! Decent selection of polish and prices are competitive with other salons in the city. Con: My mom called on Saturday morning to make an appointment. She was told that we could come at 1pm. We arrived a bit early but it was still almost 10 minutes after our scheduled time before we were in the spa chairs. A nail tech started working on my feet shortly thereafter, but my mom waited an additional half an hour! It was nearly 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment time before a nail tech went anywhere near her. I understand there were lots of clients ahead of us, but then don’t tell us we can have a 1pm appointment if it’s really going to be 1:30 or 2pm. One lady waited so long that she left without paying, claiming that she had another appointment to be at and that she would come back later to pay. While I don’t agree with her actions, I definitely understand where she was coming from. It shouldn’t take all afternoon to get your nails done. People don’t usually have that kind of time.

Three of us went for a mani-pedi. I asked whether or not they would be able to fit us in and was told we could wait in the massage chairs, it would be about 20 minutes. After 45 minutes, no one had so much as looked at us, let alone spoken to us. We stood up to leave and THEN we were told it would only be five more minutes but as far as I was concerned, if I wasn't worth speaking to until I was fed up enough to leave, it was already too late to save me as a customer. I will never return.

Received a decent pedicure as expected , but the most annoying part was hearing the staff making unpleasant remarks about the customesr and laughing the whole time in their language. Every single person who walked in they would stare, comment and laugh. Very unpleasant! They even talked about me sitting right in front of them. Will not go back.

Anyways we showed up for our appointment on time and the staff were prepared for us, we did not have to wait at all. The service was great and prompt. Very reasonable prices, clean salon and great services. They are very meticulous with gel nails, they can pretty much do any design you request. They also stand behind their work, I have chipped my nails on a few occasions due to my job which involves a good amount of typing, came back and they fix for free. Talk about great customer service !

They completely destroyed my nails removing my gel polish. I haven't gotten another nail service anywhere since because I'm afraid of damaging them further. The polish removal hurt, and I told the tech it was uncomfortable, but I didn't want to seem like a diva. I also felt like the hostesses were generally bothered by my presence and didn't want to answer even the most basic questions - i.e. which polish colors were an upcharge (like where's the line between shimmer and glitter). I'll go somewhere else when the damage finally grows out.

Definitely the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. It was chipping not even 12 hours after I got it done. The staff was nice but it took them almost 30 minutes after I had sat down in the chair to start the actual pedicure.

This is the most disgusting nail salon I have ever been to on my life. I saw one of the techs use tools on one girl, shove them in her apron, and pull them out and use them on another customer. The floors look like they have rounded corners they're so dirty and the staff can barely understand you. Perfect place to go if you want to catch something.

Unfortunately my shellac manicure did not last more than 4 days before it started to chip away and crack. First time coming here. I have been getting shellac manicures for quite a few years and they always last a month. So i know its nothing i did as i take great care of my manicures. Now im going somewhere else to get it redone. Didn't even last a week. Waste of money. Wish it would have at least lasted two weeks instead of 4 days. Very frustrating.

Never get your gel nails removed here. Just had mine done and I was in excruciating amounts of pain the whole time and my natural nail was completely ripped off in some spots. It was not done properly and every time I said it hurt the technician just laughed. Had to soak my fingers in peroxide when I got home to prevent infection. Will never be returning to this salon.

It was a nice building and location, they wore face masks and rubber gloves to protect them selves. She used the hot towel to wipe off the excess moisturizer, and did the classic nail design for 5$ extra. Not my favourite salon experience, but for a 30$ pedicure, it was fine.

During the pedicure the tech kept leaving and making personal calls and passing money around to her coworkers. If she was professional and did not ignore her clients the job would have been done a lot quicker. Not impressed. Theres little options in the neighborhood however I would still drive elsewhere with better employees. The job she did was fine but was definitely not close in quality to other places. RESPONSE to the owners response: it is even more appalling that the worker was the GM and treated her guests like this. Money should not be exchanged in front of customers and customers should not be ignored to do so. It's disrespectful.

I did not have a good experience it was my first time, I got my nails done by ken.The shape that I asked that was the coffin wasn’t even a coffin shape. & I payed $60 for the set. Honestly not very happy. Not mad about the amount just upset because I specifically asked for something and didn’t get that.

Our very recent experience at this Nail spa last week- no customer service. We waited for 30 mins and nobody even looked at us. After waiting for this long we asked for service, when they WEREN'T EVEN BUSY. i talked to a technician during my service, and she even said that their management is horrible, and that her and others are unhappy with them. Horrible management and I truly feel bad for the staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you have plenty of time and money to waste.

I went inside to ask for prices since they don't give you prices on the website, so I went in and I showed THEM a picture, yes ( THEM) when I came in a lady said hi to me and came towards me to speak to me THEN another lady approached her to look at my picture as well and they were speaking in their language THEN ANOTHER lady also came and they were all trying to figure out what I wanted, I just wanted natural looking acrylic nails and I even showed them a picture but they still couldn't understand what I wanted. They were still speaking in their language until finally one of them said "okay come" I finally sat and she started doing my nails, let me just tell you there NOT delicate with your fingers AT ALL and I can take pain pretty well so it wasn't too painful for me but I cannot see a normal or a sensitive person going through that, without complaining, when I went to wash my hands as she inn trusted me I noticed that she peeled off my skin in one of my fingers with the little machine they use to file your nails, but I didn't say anything, at the end she couldn't put just a clear top coat on my nails and she just gave me the option of putting a light pink coat on my nails even tho I said I wanted NATURAL looking nails. so I got out with pink nails, with bubbles, which btw weren't even coated correctly and they're not even and that same day one little part of my nails came off. so in conclusion, my nails weren't shaped the same, I didn't get the design I wanted, my nails had bubbles at the end, the service was rushed, they peeled off my skin, and like I said they're not delicate with your fingers in general. it was a poor job and definitely im not coming back to this Aloha nails location.

Took my daughter here for her 10th birthday after her friend’s mother recommended me. Friendly staff, welcoming and caring. The receptionist showed us the color selection, wow they have a lot which took us a while to find the one we like. We both decided with the shellac pedicure, I had the add on of hot stone massage and the sugar exfoliation. Oh gosh my feet and legs felt amazing after. My daughter had a butterfly design on her toes and she was ecstatic! Im hoping the shellac color lasts a couple weeks as advertises.
