I have been seeing Sheila MacLean for over 10 years, and have seen almost all of the other Massage therapists at Rooted Tree. I really appreciate how calming, quiet and dark the massage rooms are. They are tastefully decorated and you feel pampered by the ambiance and the added bonus of optional essential oils. The RMTs are very focused on your health and wellness, and work with you to treat your body. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. 10/10 would recommend.

I have had acupuncture treatments with great success over the years and decided to also use acupuncture treatments for the symptoms of menopause and for general well being and vitality. Eliza Paul, the Registered Acupuncturist at Rooted Tree is a very skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and gentle Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist. Eliza completed a very detailed intake form on my first visit and discussed a treatment approach with me. My acupuncture treatments have been very relaxing and rejuvenating and have helped me achieve the outcomes I was wanting - no more hot flashes either! Eliza also suggested I try fire cupping on my back and it felt amazing. The whole approach has been a very worthwhile experience and one that I will continue with for my ongoing personal well being.

In my experience, the practitioners in this establishment have always shown the utmost respect for their clients, and work to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible. The space and people who work in it are very welcoming and professional. Sheila works hard to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Sheila’s approach to massage is impressive. She is concerned for her whole client, and uses her knowledge and expertise to treat and care for the whole person. Sheila’s yoga instruction has also been very beneficial for me, and I know that she is always very careful in her instructions to ensure that everyone’s experience with yoga is a positive one. My experiences with other practitioners in this studio – acupuncturists and yoga instructors – have also been very positive. Sheila is careful to engage quality people to join her in this studio. If you are not satisfied with a service provided, she wants to know what can be done to improve the situation for you. My experiences at Rooted Tree Massage & Yoga have always been especially pleasant and incredibly helpful. I will continue to use the services provided by this excellent establishment. I cannot recommend their services highly enough.
