As a professional fingerstyle guitarist, I require hard nails on my right hand and have gone a few times to this Salon. I waited for over twenty minutes after arriving on time for my appointment. Jenny did a rushed and inconsistent job and even cut the side of my thumb with her drummell file! After the nails were finally put on, I remained seated with my hand in the UV drier as she went to the front counter to do some accounting (looked like receipt counting) for another 15 min. She was very discourteous and seemed to be more concerned about making money than to customer satisfaction! She finally came over and said, "You are done" (in a condescending manner)! I will not be going back to this Salon!! Very disappointing!!

I was in Whitehorse on vacation- and one of my nails broke. I dropped in to see if they could help, and they took me right away. I was so impressed, I had all my nails redone, and a pedicure. Clean, polite, and did a very good job.

I decided to get short coffin acrylic nails for the first time. My first nail breaks after the first 3 days. I've reached out to try and get this resolved, and have went to the store myself and no one has reached back to me. So here I am writing a negative review... From December 21st to January 1st. TWO nails have broken now. I will not be going back for I feel I was ripped off.. from my understanding acrylic nails should be durable and $90 should last wayyyyy longer then less then 2 weeks.. the poor communication and lack of customer service soured it for me..

The service was quick,they gave me the wrong colours though...not what I asked for.Also a different shape than what I asked for....not sure if there was a communication barrier,but I felt like I was pretty clear saying what I wanted and it wasn’t delivered

Staff did not change gloves between 6 different customer pedicures. Staff did not talk to us until we were about to pay, asking us how we are and some small talk; an attempt to make a tip? I had an incredibly sore toe as I accidentally popped my toenail off the previous day, and requested that specific toe to be left alone, and not touched. I winced in pain several times as the staff grabbed my toe, wiped my toe, and pushed my toe during my pedicure. I normally wouldn’t get a pedicure with a sore toe but it is for a wedding the following day. I just wish that they would have taken my pain a little more serious.

I have never written a review on any business but was so unhappy with my experience that I felt very strongly that I needed to let others know. A friend of mine & I went for pedicures & not only were the aestheticians extremely rough & made us feel like they couldn’t get rid of us fast enough, they didn’t speak to us at all. They were speaking to each other in their language & after my foot had been smacked a couple times (the choice of communication for getting me to move my foot, apparently) I asked if she could just ask me what she would like me to do. At one point some kind of little dremill/drill was used on my cuticles & 3 days later they are still swollen, red & sore. I’m just hoping they don’t become infected. One of my favourite things about a pedicure is a nice relaxing foot & lower leg massage. But unfortunately even that was disappointing. While my friend got more than a few minutes of a massage I most certainly didn’t! There were a couple of walk-in clients near the end of our pedicures (which they had rushed through in under 40 minutes) so without any type of communication both of our aestheticians left to work on other clients. After 20 minutes we figured our toes were dry enough to leave. Again, a first for myself, I paid & didn’t leave a tip. As we were getting into our car to leave one of the aestheticians came out & asked us what was wrong. I said you were rough, rude & never spoke to us but carried on a long conversation with your coworker. She told us her coworker didn’t speak English. That doesn’t bother either myself or my friend but perhaps some kind of communication to let us know, with maybe an offer to translate if we had any questions? I am sorry to say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any salon!

Very nice place! Clean and organized. The ambience is very relaxing.. Excellent staff! Had my gel mani/pedi and eyebrow waxing, and i'm one satisfied customer.

I get my nails done every two weeks and tried this place for the first time.. Horrible customer service experience. They use a drill for buffing and removal, that kills your nail beds and frankly hurts since nail beds are already thin. Workers are inpatient and in a hurry to get to the next customer. They are not sanitary there, they use the same file for every customer and do not sanitize their equipment. Due to the work being rushed, my nails that i got done less than a week ago are already falling apart and lifting. I'm not hard on my nails (work at a desk), I can usually go two weeks with shellac and then get them redone. Like I said, less than a week and they are destroyed. Would not recommended this place.

Definitely not the best experience, went to get the shellac off my nails and redone. They were rushed, used a drill buffer to remove the shellac and even i told them it hurt they still used the drill but softer, i asked them about using acetone to remove the shellac she said they didnt use that method. Long story short i left the salon with very sore nails and to top it off 5 days after getting my nails done there i ended up at the doctors with a massive finger/ nail infection and im on antibiotics for the next 10days. Not sanitary at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. And it is the only place ive visited for my nails in the last 2yrs.

Rushed. Inconsistent shaping and filing. Rough filing - filed against skin at sides of nail bed in several spots on several fingers to the point of bleeding and soreness. Will go elsewhere.

I would never recommend this place. my fingernails are sensitive and sore still to the touch. I cant even open a can of pop! They removed the polish with a machine that took all the natural nail off. Its been more than 2 months and they have only grown back half way. this was an unfortunate gift we got her. what a regret.

The lady was so rude. She did not understand what i was trying to tell her . She misunderstood it and she ruined my nails. And they were talking in their own language rather than communicating in english. That is disrespectful to their customers. I would never recommend anyone to go there. Spoiled my whole day.

I actually sort of stumbled here to reviews when looking up the Pro Nail telephone number. I have visited this establishment numerous times and have never been subject to the treatment detailed in many of these reviews. To the traveler from BC making comments regarding price compared to what she pays in BC? Perhaps she needs to pay rent or buy food here before making such uninformed comments. These people work incredibly hard to pamper ugly-a** feet. If you take issue with people speaking "their language", I know all I need to know about the validity of that review. I have always found this establishment to be clean, accommodating and of friendly service. If you are visiting the sort of establishment that accommodates "walk-ins", get off your bougee high horse.

When I arrived, my appointment was a couple minutes delayed as there was a very upset customer they were dealing with. This lady was explaining to them why she wasn't satisfied with the service, since her nails weren't done as requested, her hands were covered in polish, there was wax on her clothes, they rushed through the process etc. After they did my nails, I fully understood why this lady was upset. They rushed through my nails, my hands were covered in polish, the shape was inconsistent and some tips were put on crooked. My sister in law started her nails before me, we both got solar nails- I was done over a half hour before her and it definitely shows! I paid over $80 for solar nails that are awful and now will be going somewhere else to get them fixed.

They fit me in last minute. All of the tools were taken from their sanitary packaging in front of me and the foot spa had a disposable liner in it. Very clean. Daniel did an excellent job taking care of my pedicure. 10/10 you won't be disappointed. Very Clean business with friendly staff.

I was pretty disappointed when I came home and my winter feet were just as dry and rough as before my pedicure. For $70 I would hope to get more than a quick pass with a pumice stone on my heels. The nails themselves were nicely trimmed and painted ok. But compared with other places in town, these folks gotta put some effort into the foot care aspect! The music was also loud and not relaxing, I couldn’t hear my friend. I think it’s an ok place if you’re in a pinch but I’d go elsewhere for a spa experience.

I wouldn’t come here again. Very very very rushed, crooked nails. it’s good if you’re in a rush maybe, but not really worth it. They don’t make any connection with customers, and i got charged 70 something plus a 10% tip ( I felt obligated for some reason ) for arcrylic and shellac powder, which should’ve been $66 in total.

Every time I get my nails done, I always come in with excitement and all that, but then when I leave my nails are uneven fatter than the other. I gave it a two star because they’re good at painting I’m good with the colours and they have nice pretty colours but how they rush my nails every time and one time my nails took an hour and 20 minutes and the last time I got my nails done it took 55 minutes, I think there’s something wrong there?And we pay like almost $100 for a set of acrylic nails and they’re not that good. So I recommend you speaking up to them to see if they can fix it or anything and if not then I wouldn’t go there anymore because it kind of ripping you off.

One of the best parts of this business is its wonderful staff that are always extremely responsive, accommodating, and friendly. I have always done walk-in services here, and I have been impressed with the staff's efficiency. I highly recommend the spa pedicure! Mai is exceptional at her job and has great attention to detail and is very dedicated to the work that she does. I'm sure this is the case for the rest of the staff as well. Don't forget to tip well!

I went in for a fill and when the woman was grinding off the old polish she was gagging and loudly exclaiming that it smelled (I could not smell anything other than normal salon smells). I was then directed into a chair and nobody told me what to do or what was happening. Another woman came eventually to finish the fill and did not ask if I wanted them shorter or even do any grinding underneath even though I asked her to. She looked at my hands (I have psoriasis a medical condition that causes my hands to be peeling) and loudly exclaimed again that I may be contagious. (It’s not it is an autoimmune disorder) I’ve never been treated so poorly or made to feel so embarrassed in a salon. I will never return and I will tell everyone I know how poorly PRO Nail treats their customers

Staff were friendly at first, then as I asked for my shape to get corrected they said they cant fix it and it must be my first time getting my nails done. I asked if they knew how to do a French fade, they said yes. My nails look all white and not ombre. They are so bumpy and funny looking.. the gems fell off the 2nd day. I wish I read the reviews before coming here. I was going to get a pedicure, but after I seen my nails, I changed my mind real quick. They rush and compromise the quality.

The salon is spacious, clean and pretty. I was then told to look at colors and was greeted by my tech right away. I'm not going to lie I was nervous. She was super sweet and handled me like a pro. She fixed everything that I may have complained about before I even opened my mouth. She checked all of the sides of my nails which I appreciated because far too many times I have been disappointed with my paint-less sides/corners. Love It
