My girlfriend had great success with Essence Of L Medi Spa, so I decided to give them a try. I don’t live locally, however they provided a detailed online consultation and I ordered the products online. I’ve been using the products for over a couple months now and have noticed a huge difference in my skin. I rarely have breakouts anymore and when I do they are way less severe. They also have awesome parties, I’ve attended two so far and they offer great food, fun and discounts!

I was recommended by a friend to visit Leah because of my many years with battling acne and darkened skin pigmentation that no matter what i tired would not lighten. Leah is very professional, educated and just a lovely person in general. The brand of products that she uses are very high quality and right away started healing my skin. After the first facial i could already see results. Leah is very good at walking you through the process and helping you understand your skin better. Her office and spa room is set up in her beautiful house and is always so clean and relaxing that i almost fall asleep during my facials every time! I don't even have the words for how amazing Essence of L is!! No wonder they have almost 100 5 star reviews. Seriously, I have struggled with acne since I was in middle school. Throughout high school it got worse and my doctor put on Doxycycline for 2 1/2 years! Once I decided to get off doxycycline, my acne came back WORSE than it ever has. I was devastated and was trying whatever I could to make my skin heal and be healthy. My doctor told me tretinoin would work and IT DID NOT. It was an awful experience. I have very acne prone skin, for 10+ years. Most of my late teens and early 20’s. I felt like I had gone through hell and back, trying absolutely anything to clear my sensitive skin. Before finding Essence of L my skin never cleared or healed, I almost gave up. At that time my confidence was low and I always hid my face with my hair. I have been seeing the team at Essence of L, for about 3-4 years now. I was in desperate need of some professional dermal attention.. I used to be the kind of woman that would feel self conscious leaving the house without any face makeup on. After just a couple of months of following her routine, my skin was literally glowing. I’m not trying to be cheesy or ironic, that literally was the case haha. I was recommended to Leah and the ‘Glow Team’ through a friend. She had shown me her before pictures, and then her 3 and then 6 month process and I couldn’t believe how much drastic change I could see with her cystic acne, and scaring. What the treatments/products had done for her skin and confidence, was sorcery! I realized that with my job working outdoors, I couldn’t keep treating my skin the way I was. Clogged pores, no SPF, dead skin and oily patches.. things were not looking hot on my end. So, then it came time to the consultation, and Leah was so nice, so helpful, and totally honest with her products. After so little time (but dedication), I felt like I had a new face. My cheeks began to hurt from smiling so much. I sound nerdy, but I actually regained myself in a way.. I felt more feminine and sassy. Drawing back a bit to where I was speaking about honesty.. I remember this one time I got a little “carried away” and I sent in a preorder to Leah with so many items on them. Too many. Leah called me, and told me what I was ordering was too much and not for my skin type or what I was trying to achieve. In the end, it decreased my bill by half, and she put me on the best routine for my unique skin.. How rare is that? Everyone’s penny pushing these days. My favourite treatment at Essence of L is the HydraFacial MD. It leaves your skin smooth, clean and healthy without the pain of extractions. I recommend that EVERYBODY tries it, seriously!!!! The other amazing treatment is the Dermaplaning facial. Not only does this facial provide a deep clean, but it also gets rid of your peach fuzz, AMAZING, HEY! Anyways, I recommend that everyone goes to see Leah at Essence of L. She is a perfectionist in her field and you definitely won't be disappointed!

I have always had combination skin, however, over the past few years, I struggled to control my acne breakouts on my face and along my jawline. I wish I had found Essence of L SOONER! Last year (2018) I started to really break out worse than I had since I was 13. I was at a loss for what to do, I was getting married in June and nothing seemed to work. I started going to a Medi spa in Abbotsford and bought hundreds of dollars worth of products that had acne causing ingredients in them, so my acne didn’t get any better. Just because it’s a Medi spa and the products look and are expensive doesn’t mean they will work. BUT then there is EOL and they are absolutely amazing! I found EoL through Instagram and saw that they specialized in acne and I had seen a before and after from a person and figured I would give it a try. You know that type of thinking where you’re not really believing it’s going to really help but hoping it will. I went in to see Leah in April, she set me up with a skin care system and even squeezed me in for a treatment that day! By the time my wedding came my skin was already so much better and I had been on the skin care regime for just over a month! Now 3 months in my skin is AMAZING! I so wish I had found EoL sooner. I started using EOL products in May of this year (2020) and soon after that I started chemicals peels. I’m 6 months into using products along with chemical peels and my skin has never looked this good before. I’m not exaggerating, before I started Leah’s products I had cystic acne, rough texture and every time I ran my hand across my face all I could feel was bumps and rough texture. I will still get the odd blocked pore but I can live with that, my face is smooth with minor scarring. Now I walk outta the house wearing no make up feeling comfortable in my own skin. I enjoy wearing makeup but I don’t feel the need to wear it on a daily basis. This has been the best investment I’ve made for my skin, I have stopped wasting my $$ at drug store products/Sephora. I will for sure continue to use the products and I look forward to getting more treatments. I would rather focus on my skin than buy products to cover up.
