This was my first time bringing my 3yr old border collie to a grooming salon. He is usually scared of strangers but I was pleasantly surprised when he relaxed around Becky. I highly recommend the Royal Pet Spa, and will be going back in a couple of months. Thank you Becky!

Good timley service, however unimpressed that my pups nail got cut too short and kept bleeding. Was not told pup was bleeding noticed blood all over blanket. Will be returning to my regular groomer, much better with pup handling and friendlier.

Great service I was a customer for three years however I to noticed that my dog nails would be cut to short every now again. It was never that big of a deal because I bought some powder from my local pet store that stops the minor bleeding. But today after I brought him home from his appointment I noticed alot of blood on his paw. So I did my usual Epsom salts to disinfect and the powder to stop the bleeding the powder slowed the bleeding but it didn't stop completely. So after informing her about the situation I took him to my vet and he had to cauterize it and applied anti bacterial cream to prevent infection. After discussing the incident with him he informed me that his injury was caused by the groomer cutting his nail to short. Being responsible for my dogs injury the staff (and other pet owners there at the time) advised that she be held responsible for the bill. She did pay for the bill in full however we mutually agreed that I find a new groomer for my dog. It is very unfortunate that this situation happened but it did and was resolved quickly. Besides this incident I was always pleased with the service.

I brought my 2boys Arlo&Milo the other day, I usually go pet smart but they were busy so I made an appt here. The both lady were amazingly nice, welcoming. I really appreciate it. and I can tell they really brush my boys because I’ve never felt that they’re so soft and even today when I brush them, nothing really comes out. my cats are indoor only so I don’t get them washed often but definitely will come back!! Great work ladies????

Very friendly and does the basic dog grooming but, our cat was shedding hair for weeks after being groomed here. Never happened in the 10 years we’ve been getting him groomed. I have been to other groomers before moving to Welland, who did a much better job. The groomers always commented how easy and cooperative he is to groom. P.S. to owners response. Our appointment was 1:00. We arrived 1:15-1:20 not 2:00. No mention of time being an issue when messaging that we were running 10-15 minutes late. Would rather they had advise, a full grooming would not be possible then to assume one was done as paid for.

Very unprofessional, very unbusiness like, basically full of poor excuses why my dog wasn't groomed in a proper manner and after I paid in full and kindly asked the groomer to do touch ups due to my dog looking like my dog was butchered, meaning not cleanly groomed and the groomer refused to do the touch ups which is not at all good customer service , my dog wasn't shampooed cause my dog didn't smell clean at all and had tear drops on her eyes again like I said previously her cut looks like a butcher groomed the hair. This groomer charges me extra money due to my dogs behaviour which I personally didn't have an issue with paying her price she charged me, which my dog is afraid of her own shadow. I must admit I was content in the past with the service but last 3 visits have been horrible.
