DO NOT GO HERE. They made promises they could not and would not keep. They want your money not your business. They removed a mole from my nose with the promise of no scar only to have a scar on my nose that I paid 900 dollars for. I had an appt with a plastic surgeon which they talked me out of. After I complained of my results I was told that they "did not have jurisdiction on mole removal" and I would get 100 dollars off of my remaining laser hair removal plus the pixel treatment free until the scar was repair. I came in for my laser appt only to be told that I had to pay out the remaining balance (with 6 sessions left) because I missed two appointments in the last year and a half. One of those being the death of my father in law. I am contacting the health board. I am contacting the Better Business Berau. I am contacting a lawyer. I am contacting the CBC news. Update: on response to lite touch. I have emails dated back to April 25 to prove that I wanted to resolve this.

Have been going to Light Touch for over a year now for laser treatments - various girls have worked on me and I've always had a solid experience with the exception of one staff member who is no longer a part of the team. The current staff there (Alice & Melanie) are both super friendly and make the experience comfortable, clean and enjoyable - we always have good chats during my services! Being an esthetician myself, I would definitely recommend these ladies for your Med Spa needs - don't ever sacrifice the quality and knowledge of services for cheaper prices. You get what you pay for and these girls are worth your time and money! :)

I've been going to LightTouch since January for front to back Brazilian laser hair removal. I saw results after ONE session! I've had laser done at a different place with older technology and I wasn't happy. At LightTouch they have upgraded technology so pain is minimal! I heard about Light Touch Med Spa from a co-worker who had been going there for a while and was very pleased with her results. I booked an appointment to have some work done on some veins on my face. Lisa immediately took me under her wing explaining everything she was doing as she went along. It was Lisa that noticed a nasty looking dry/red spot on the back of my thumb and a smaller one on the other hand. She had been treating some others with this same rash and was concerned about it. I am very pleased to say that after a few treatments with Lisa, my rash is gone and my hands look and feel great! The spots on my face are looking so much better and my skin feels amazing! As a person with severe side effects of PCOS this has been the only laser hair removal treatment which has been effective for me. So far I have had 10 sessions done on my full face and there has been a world of a difference from when I first started. This place is a just a scam, they only look for ways to take your money. If possible it’s zero star. That PRP hair treat is the biggest fraud. Paid $1500 plus tax and there was not a single change. First of all they don’t use the right numbing cream and just leaves the patient to go on with the pain and headache. The type of machine they use does not help either. They just wanted me to start the treatment all over and give them another $1500. So sad I gave them my $1500 plus tax, when the PRP is done better and less expensive in another place.

First of all I want to thanks Google BC I got to meet this place by using it. I'm so glad to have found this location, I've been trying to get rid of my unwanted hair for a few years and all of the deals that I found were too pricey. This is the best deal you are going to see!!! They also have the best revolutionary technology about laser treatments. And the best part in this location is JENNIFER , the technician. Since I went the first time she was super nice and professional, you can tell she loves her career, this is not just a simple job for her, she enjoys to spent time with the patients and to see the results after all. I'm doing a full body laser hair removal and it takes time and patience, but Jeny makes it pass like in a relaxing Spa. I can't wait for my next seven more appointments. My advise for all of you readers is to put some money on a side(not so much at the end) and TO DO THIS FOR YOURSELF, WON'T REGRET IT!!!!! ;-)

I began my treatments at the Waterloo location a few months ago and while my experience started out well, I urge potential clients to re-consider going to this location. This location was very phoney about their pricing - I got the impression that the lady who dealt with pricing was making up prices as she went. She told me there were different promotions outlined by head office each month but there was never anything professional written down; the numbers were solely in her handwriting. She easily could be giving different people different pricing. Regardless, I really wanted the laser hair removal so proceeded. I had excellent care and service by Alice; she is about the only good thing about this location. Fast forward to me moving to Oakville where I continued treatment at their location. The woman who treated me was excellent and told me to my surprise that 8 treatments wouldn’t be enough and was sorry that the Waterloo location was not upfront about that. I ended up having a reaction to the laser with my underarms and requested from the Waterloo location that my payment plan be stopped, as I am also recovering from a very serious surgery. They said they can’t stop it and that it should be placed toward another body part. Well, seeing as I am still in recovery, I am unable to do so and I still have payments coming out. Management has been dodging my calls and this has yet to be resolved. Save yourself from the trouble I went through and just go to another location!

GROUPON BEWARE: It was my first visit to LightTouch Med Spa Waterloo. I booked at appointment for Botox and informed them I had a groupon. They confirmed they had availability and booked me in. When I arrived they immediately clicked redeem on my groupon. They then brought me back to a room and after discussing where I’d get Botox they informed me they didn’t think they had any Botox left. After checking they said they were out and only had 13 units left but I could drive to Mississauga or Milton the next day to get the rest or else I’d have to wait until the New Year. When I explained how I was upset because I specifically went to their clinic because I was told I could get in before the holidays, didn’t understand why they’d book me a Botox appointment when they have no Botox, that they already clicked my groupon as redeemed and it would cost me more to drive to Mississauga or Milton then just pay full price at another spa, one of the individuals proceeded to tell me about how busy they were and that’s why this happened and again kept asking if I’d drive to Mississauga or Milton. They offered 3 units for free which was a bit ridiculous at this point. I asked to have my groupon refunded to which after much waiting they told me I had to call groupon and they were “talking to groupon” on their side. Once I left, I went to call groupon immediately only to discover their offices closed an hour prior so I was clearly told a lie. Overall a really disappointing customer experience and I’m pretty sure I was just scammed out of my money.

Have just finished 6 sessions getting my underarms lasered and WOW results are even better than I could have hoped for. The laser technicians Alice and Melanie are both super friendly, are very professional, and explain everything to you. Would definitely recommend - it is totally worth it! (Oct 2021) Jan 2022 update: About 80% of hair has and continues to grow back to where I am shaving regularly again. It seems touch up sessions are 100% necessary to keep the growth at bay which is disappointing.

I came in to complete 8 treatments of laser hair removal. From my experience, the customer service was highly poor, unprofessional, and extremely rude. I originally only came in for one set of treatments (8 in total) and was pressured by staff into getting a second set. There were at least 3 appointments where I had to wait way past my scheduled appointment time because their booking system had messed up all the appointments. They have used that excuse every time I was forced to wait. One time I had to wait an extra 30 minutes when I had another appointment to go to afterwards. They did not call ahead of time to let me know of the lateness to give me the chance to re-schedule or compensate me for my time wasted when it was an error on their end. I had used the bathroom once and there was not any toilet paper so I went out to ask for it. The owner rudely told me that the toilet paper was under the sink and in the future, I could get it myself instead of asking. I found this unprofessional and rude as it is not my responsibility as the client to make sure the washroom is stocked properly. Privacy for clients was not a concern for this spa as there were numerous times where a random technician would do the treatment. I was not made aware that my regular technician would not be there ahead of time so I could re-schedule if desired. Unprofessional to not think and take action about client's privacy concerns. The man at the front desk is extremely rude. He angry lifted the computer screen and yelled at me. The owner told me in front of other customers that I have rosacea and needed to purchase a treatment from them to treat when I was only there for laser hair removal and had no interest in 'fixing' my face. I would not recommend this spa to anyone and have told people to avoid at all costs.

As a student the price is a major downside but, they've started to offer financing which helps if you're seeking to stick to a regular treatment plan. I purchased a Groupon for 20 units of botox. I have never had botox before, my numerous of my friends have so I wanted to give it a try. I'm 32 years old and have great skin. I wanted to prevent the "elevens" from happening. You can totally see them when I frown, but not when my face is resting. I got there and was greeted by Lisa who was super nice...I had to wait 40 minutes for the woman who was going to be doing my procedure as she was stuck in traffic apparently. No biggie... Right before getting my injection, Lisa and another woman came in and said they needed the room for another client. I was transferred to a cold, small room with a rinky dink recliner chair. The lady did my injections in 1 minite and sent me on my way. One week later there were still no results. I called and Lisa said it's because I am mixed with black and black people require more botox. She said to come in and they can look at my face and they will give me more...but for a fee. I am sooooo disappointed in this and can't believe I wasted my money. Never go there for botox. EVER!!!

P.S.That redness around my nose Is still here and that one 10 min laser treatment did absolutely nothing to help my skin.I wanted a facial and spent $150 and got nothing out of it.Dont reccommend.

Love this location! I came to Light touch for a Hydrafacial (of which I booked a three-pack upon meeting Jennifer) and Jennifer was awwwwwesome! Extremely rude staff, besides the technician who tried to do her best under the circumstances. I was told at my appointment that my voucher would not be accepted after prompted to pay over the phone. At the appointment I was told that I have ugly skin, that it would get worse, and that I would need services that I did not come for nor was interested in. At check out they tried increasing the price and I was told not to waste time on the incorrect amount of tax charged because they were 'busy'. Will not be going back.

This location is Fantastic! I've been meaning to write a review for a long time. I started going to LightTouch Med Spa since July 2020 to help with my (active) acne and acne scars. Alice has been amazing with my treatments. You can tell she really cares about her clients. I did a few treatments of IPL to stop the acne and Pixel for my scars. I'm getting married in October 2021 so this has been on my list. The combination of the 2 works great! I'm very pleased with the results. I also do LHR for my under arms and legs. Both Alice and Melanie are awesome, if you like to chat to make the treatments go by faster they'll chat, but it's also painless so if you want to nap, they let you nap lol. The results are life changing, I noticed a huge difference my third treatment.

You should know that if you are 2 minutes late that the old lady that does the laser will go out for a coffee break for 20 mins during your scheduled appointment time. The laser hair removal is not worth the $800 as after 6-7 months there was no real change or help done. Find a better service with nicer people. The woman at the reception was rude and so unhelpful. There are other places with this exact machine or the next model upgrade.

From treatments that were suggested to me at this clinic by fran and Lisa has improved my skin so much that I get so many compliments and can go out without makeup. The staff is amazing at this clinic in Waterloo that is where I go. I even got laser hair removal done they put together a very affordable price package for me. Sheena is leaving the Waterloo clinic which has upset me drastically. I've been going to LightTouch Med Spa since November last year for neck, underarms, lower legs, and Brazilian hair removal. Already after one session, shaving was much easier, because the hair became thinner and softer. After eight treatments, I'm still shaving every day but the hair has become much lighter than before and grows more slowly. I'm happy with the results so far and will do another eight sessions for complete hair loss. I started brazilian laser hair removal in March and it's the best decision I've made. I'll be going into my sixth treatment next month and I have very few hair follicles left. It feels so nice not having to worry about shaving down there. Also, Stephanie and Jennifer are both super friendly and knowledgeable on the subject. I look forward to my treatments and catching up with them. I'll likely be getting my underarms done as well because the treatment is so effective and pain free for me. Definitely worth it!

I purchased 6 sessions, I had two done prior to covid hitting last year which caused a delay between my next session due to the lockdown. Unfortunately, they said they can’t offer extra sessions due to the break and that it shouldn’t have any effect on the results, however, with laser, if you go too long without a session, especially at the beginning, it may not be as effective. After the lockdown, I finished my remaining sessions only for a couple months later for all the hair to grow back to normal. This was very disappointing considering it wasn’t cheap - it not only was a waste of money but of time and pain. The girls at the office were very nice but it’s pretty disappointing that they won’t offer a session to make up for the delay. I understand it was unforeseen circumstances but considering the amount of time I had to wait to go back, it definitely had an impact on my results and I’ll now have to do it all over again somewhere else.
