I had the worst waxing experience of my life here. I was provided a gift certificate to the salon as a Christmas gift and decided to go for a Brazilian wax which I have had many times in the past at a couple of the salons I regularly go to but since i had the gift card i figured why not give them a try! - worst ever. The girl who did the wax was very nice however she left me bruised, ripped me and still left a ton of unwanted hair! I was also left so covered in wax. The hair was definitely long enough to be properly waxed and in fact I had to go today to have it fixed by another salon who was horrified at the job that was done. As a professional I dont think the phrase "you will still need to shave a couple spots" or "put polysporin" on it should be used when referencing waxing a sensitive area. I will not be back. Carly never called to fix this situation either, not that it could be fixed...

Very relaxing from the moment we walked in! I highly appreciated how organized everything was. The couples massages were the best we have ever had! We got to pick the essential oils to use and even got bath salts to take home. We will definitely come back!

The quality of their services are stellar. The ambiance is great to decompress. They offer a variety of products that are vegan for those of us who have sensitive skin or do not like to use products with harsh chemicals. The only pitfall is that it's extremely difficult to get an appointment. They book up quickly. It would be nice to see them open up a sister-location to accommodate their clientele. I happen to agree with another clients review about the cap off on booking appointments. I have my wedding in the Fall and want to book to ensure I get my ladies in for their bridal treatments... now I risk the chance of it booking up. It would be nice to open this up with a deposit to show the customer is serious about their appointment.

It's a wonderful spa .. a hidden treasure at this Mall. Entrance is off Willis Way with no access into the mall. Plan a spa time and you can also have lunch delivered from Zoup next door.

Visited this spa yesterday for the first time for a couples massage. Very nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in and you realize you'll be in for a relaxing experience with the robes, foot bath and overall soothing ambience. We had Kerri-Lyn and Claire as our RMTs and we'd highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a deep tissue massage. I had recently injured my back and had some tightness there, but this tightness was essentially gone after our hour long massage. They were very knowledgeable as we asked a lot of questions about how to improve some tighter areas and they gave us some tips for the future. Overall, fantastic experience and we'd love to come back.

Great environment, clean and accommodates groups of people. I was recently in The Waters for a pedicure with friends. Our polish didn't dry and eventually smugged. When contacting The Waters about our polish, Carley (manager) was very accommodating in rectifying the situation. They were tremendously understanding and professional in re-doing our service. I would like to think of myself as a regular! I get monthly RMT massages and very frequent nail and facial services. I use all of their spa products and skin care lines. Since moving to Waterloo 4 years ago, I have ventured off and tried other places, but keep coming back for more! To me no other place compares and when I brought all of my bridesmaids here the day before my wedding, it was a total hit!

Here comes the love-fest, because I can't say enough amazing things about this place! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday with a couple's massage and soak. We had never been there before, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were given fresh, clean robes to change into and a complimentary foot bath while we filled out the paperwork they needed. Our RMTs showed us to a room with a soaker tub and gave us 30mins to relax and soak privately. We were allowed to choose a scent for our soak and the tub was full of rose petals - it was just beautiful. Our massages were, without a doubt, the best we have ever received, and our RMTs (Kayla and Melaina) were amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

Our friends thought this place was great so my Wife booked us infor massages/pedicures. My Wife had a prior good experience here as well. Spent a bit longer waiting inthe lounge than we'd like but it was ok, soaked our feet in hot water while we waited. Massages were poor. First time I've been asked to leave under garments on. Not a big deal as it's only a relaxation massage but found it odd It felt nice but of the approx 12 massages I'd had up til that point I'd say it was in the bottom 2. Still, even a poor massage beats no massage! One major complaint was the doorway that led to their back room/area...the staff were constantly opening/closing that door and it's all you could hear for the entire 60 minute massage. Not conducive to a relaxing atmosphere. Why go through the trouble of creating a very nice, relaxing atmosphere/decor (the decor and lighting is very nice) and then having a staff door noisily open and close constantly?? Pedicure was good but I've never had one so can't be sure. She put me in a private room to watch TV while it was getting done (I'm a man and I appreciated that touch). Had me put my jeans back on before the pedicure so I had to roll up my pants??? No leg massage as I had heard they do. Possibly because I had 2/3 of my calves exposed and the rest beneath my pant legs? It's an OK place but in all honesty the hype and money isn't worth it. We went to Gina's last year and that massage was much better.

My husband gave me a gift certificate and when I called to book the receptionist said that I must book with 4 o 6 week and advance! Water Spa must inform in advance to make the purchase that you must wait to use the gift certificate. I very disappointed!

I had my first pedicure at the Waters Spa and am extremely disappointed. My heels were in need of a good pedicure and a week later they look and feel as if I didn't have one done. I have been using cream on my heels daily. I have never experienced this before at other spas. They didn't remove any dry skin and only sanded it with a tool. The menu said the pedicure would be 40 minutes and within 20 minutes the lady was applying polish. I felt rushed and that I paid for a service I didn't get.

My husband and I wanted to take advantage of the $800.00 we had remaining for therapeutic massages. I booked 2 for starters which I was then told would require a credit card to hold it. I asked if I could call in my credit card after work but was told I'd also have to book it then as they can't hold spots without a credit card. I understand services being affected either by eliminating or even an increase in price do to covid. To turn away two customers because they can't wait 7 hrs for a cc is ridiculous ... My appointment was Dec 20th plenty of time to cancel if I didn't follow up! I guess unlike other businesses struggling to survive through this pandemic they're rolling in the money I guess if you don't have a credit card you're not worthy of an appt ... Great system.

Best spa in town ! Yes, you need to make an appointment for a 1 hour massage with an RMT (on week nights & evenings) 2/3 months in advance - this place is popular for a reason. I also enjoy that they don't over book so the change room and waiting area are not crowded and there's no background talking/noise while receiving your treatment. After each massage I use the infrared sauna afterwards (complimentary) and then finish with a shower in the change room. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I have had massages with several different RMT's and all were excellent. Love the scented oils, the comfy robes, the foot soak ritual before the massage, and the soothing atmosphere. Thank you !

I have been attending the waters for years, mainly for RMT massages. The quality of the spa services offered is definitely 5 star... they do an amazing job! My only reason for giving a 4 star is that the spa has implemented a 3 month booking cap which means that 90% of the time when I call in to book a couples massage for my husband and I, they do not have any availability and will not open up future months to schedule us in. Due to this limitation I have been forced to book elsewhere, even though the experience is never as good. It would be wonderful if the Waters could start booking further in advance or hire more RMTs so that there was more availability... they do a wonderful job, but the booking process is very frustrating.

I just had my first visit to The Waters yesterday and WOW. I was absolutely blown away. I will admit, I was a bit intimidated walking in and I felt a little bit out of place in such a luxurious space but from the moment I walked in I was welcomed. I met Cassie after having a cup of tea in the lounge, and she was so incredibly friendly. She immediately made me feel at ease. The treatment itself was amazing, it far exceeded my expectations - Cassie is so, so good at what she does. She is an absolute gem and I thank her for making the experience what it was. I cannot wait to return!

Best massage. I went today for day off. Cassie she is amazing. I thought I had good massages before. But here are the best really relaxing. She was very attentive love the foot soak with oils. And the mix of essential oils for the massage. The atmosphere is very elegant and set u in the mood to relaxation. Definitely coming back. A little pricey but its worth it

This place didn't have any sense of luxury. I felt rushed into the message, and the receptionist didn't give me enough instructions. None of the oils for the message smelled good. The message was not relaxing at all, and I left the spa being sore!! Not a good experience, definitley won't go back.

The Waters is amazing! I had the Dead Sea Body Treatment and it was absolutely incredible! My skin feels SO soft and hydrated. Sometimes an exfoliate can be too rough and uncomfortable but this one was perfect. I've never experienced anything like the head-to-toe mud mask and steam--it was so relaxing. The Waters really pays attention to all the little details. From the cozy robes, the foot bath and tea which relaxes you even before your treatment starts, to the eye cucumbers you can use during your soak--they've really thought of everything to make your experience luxurious and you will definitely leave feeling pampered and refreshed. I can't wait to come back!

My friend had the body buff treatment and left with blotches of tanner all over. I could have done a better job applying it. I had a mini makeup application, with uneven liner and was asked to apply my own mascara. When I asked her to fix the crooked liner, she tried to scrape it off with a mascara brush instead of getting a q-tip. What a horribly over priced experience. Will never go back.

I’ve gotten the hot stone massage done as well as the regular RMT massages. I love the atmosphere and professionalism. The oils used during the massage are great as well. I do like the fact that they play pleasant music and I can’t hear any background noise (people in the hallway etc). It is however difficult to get a spot last minute since they’re so busy! I always try to book in advance ????

I went to the water with my brother to get facials. Relaxation and massages were good, but we went there for acne treatments and unfortunately they did not do a job on the extraction of blackheads. If you are unsatisfied but they feel like they've done a good job, they will refuse to reimburse you completely and they don't even offer a discount. If you want a deep clean and get rid of all your acne and blackheads, I recommend you to go to Gina's College in Waterloo, much cheaper, good service, nice girls and great clean.
