I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment, business door was locked so I had to wait on the street in the middle of December, business owner was 10 minutes late, she didn't apologize or even acknowledge the fact that she was late.
She gave me some papers to read and initial regarding treatments, one question was regarding if I wanted a skin patch test, I asked her about it, to which she responded "just put that you don't want one"
I had fibroblast done on my neck, I had done my research on the procedure and over and over I read that it does not break the skin and no bleeding occurs, so I was very surprised when she gave me the mirror and my neck had many areas that were bleeding...then she just handed me my jacket, didn't offer anything to deal with the bleeding or even acknowledge it...I had to go into the bathroom to get paper towel from the dispenser to put on my neck to prevent it from getting all over my jacket.
I had prepaid for three areas to be done, but as I left I was pretty sure I didn't want to come back. Two days later I contacted her and made an excuse about wanting to postpone my next appointments, not wanting to cause any kind of confrontation by telling her how disturbed I had been when I left my appointment.
She had told me there would be small crusts on the treated areas for 5-10 days. I contacted her after almost a month and told her that I was concerned that my neck had brown marks and it looked to be hyper pigmentation. She asked me to send a pic and said "I'm not sure who you've been talking to,” I had hoped as a business owner she would show some concern but instead came across as defensive.
She said after any scab there will be pink or red skin....this was neither it was and still is a brown discolouration.
She said she would send me a few serums to help with healing, I never received them.
I didn't want to go ahead with the next treatments and asked for my money back for those treatments, she told me she had a no refund policy and would give me a gift certificate. The more I thought about it I knew I didn't want to go back, the treatment had not worked and had left marks (which are still there), my neck looks worse and I don't trust her abilities.
The no refund policy was not on her website yet since my request she has now put it on there. When I booked the appointments she informed me I had to pay for all three in advance, I used my credit card...she had me sign for it on her phone/tablet, on the screen was the dollar amount and a space for me to sign, that was all that was visible on the screen. It turns out below that (she says) were her no refund policies, but I would of needed to scroll down to see those, she didn't tell me I was signing for policies, she didn't tell me there was more to what I was signing that I couldn't see on the screen, she didn't let me know to scroll down, she let me believe that I was signing for my payment...that's it....until I wanted a refund for services I wasn't going to receive...... then miraculously my digital signature was attached to these policies.
I tried to get my money back through my credit card company....she sent them a copy of a receipt that had her refund policies on the bottom, she said that it was the receipt she sent to me....not true...the one she sent to me has the map right below my signature.....why isn’t it on the one she sent to the credit card company???? And on mine it states custom amount and total right above my signature....why on hers is it barely visible and split between the two sides of the page??? Why would she alter the receipt and lie saying that’s the one she sent me, when it clearly isn’t.
