You will be able to see the opinions of real people who use the products and services of Spa My Blend by Clarins (Spa) in Toronto (Canada).
At this moment this firm has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 110 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is quite high, and it is based on a very high number of scores, so we may be pretty sure that the score is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Spa is included in the category of Spa.
Awesome customer service and overall experience, kudos to the RMT's and staff... keep up the great work.
Better than four seasons.
I came here for the first time for a Swedish message by Rafael and absolutely loved his message he was amazing. However the receptionists attitude was very disappointing. I walked in and honestly felt extremely disrespected by the receptionists instead of a simple smile and greet 5 ladies are standing and just chit chatting which I absolutely don't mind, however they need to acknowledge when a client walks in especially given the fact that this is an extremely luxury spa and expensive and a simple smile is the minimum they can give a client . I go to the front and had to greet the receptionist myself, she literally rushes me and doesn't explain anything such as the ability of using the swimming pool and all the other amenities. Finally after the message I went to pay and she tells me I have added an 18% tip and I asked to lower the tip amount she gave me an eye roll which is not professional at all! Very disappointed with the front desk's service as I was expecting more professionalism given the luxury and price of this spa.
From the moment we walked in we were treated with the most impeccable and impressive service. We celebrated our anniversary and the attention to details and the many wonderful surprises. Thank you so much for making our day very special. Nathaniel and William
The first time I have been to this spa, I unfortunately wasn't able to actually get the massage I scheduled. What happened was my husband had forgotten to inform them I was pregnant. I was surprised the Ritz had a strict policy that they only provide massage and body treatments to women in their second trimester. Even though I was going to be in my second trimester couple days later, they were very strict to their policy. I was initially pretty disappointed, the lovely receptionist did give us two day passes for the spa for any day. The next day they had called us to follow up and then provided me with a complimentary pre-natal massage. I would have to say this is exceptional service, definitely kept me wanting to come back to them. More places should use their customer service as an example.
This was my first time here. There is another spa I go to quite regularly, but I wanted to treat myself to the spa at the Ritz. They have healthy treats and tea around the spa that you can help yourself too. There is a lot of quiet lounge space, which can be hard to find at the other spa I go to. I liked that a lot. I enjoyed the steamroom, sauna, large rainfall showers, and the green tea hot tub. I could spend all day here. Salvatore was my RMT. He was fantastic. Very friendly, welcoming me for my first time and telling me about the spa. He did an excellent job on my massage. It is very expensive, but worth the treat once in awhile, especially because you can use the pools and lounge all day with certain treatments. The only complaint is that they add an 18% tip (for your convenience) when you check out. They let you know that you can change if you'd like, but I felt awkward doing that, so I paid the 18%. It should be up to the client.
Throughout the pandemic I've been dreaming of taking my pandemic savings and booking a really luxurious treatment. I looked at all the big luxury spas in Toronto and Spa My Blend seemed to be the only place offering interesting treatments (rather than the same old Swedish massage, etc.) that are focused on relaxation instead of correction. I had the Holistic Stress Buster 2-hour treatment that was a combination of a body treatment, massage, and facial. It was like taking a vacation. At $390 it seems expensive, but it's worth at least twice the price. Natalia was so friendly and down to earth and seemed to have 6 hands! And not once did she comment on the appearance or quality of my skin, which always bums me out at other spas. And no one tried to sell me any products. It was a perfect relaxation experience. I booked it weeks in advance and had the highest expectations and they were exceeded.
This spa is an absolute gem, hidden from many. It's quite expensive, but definitely a great self-love treat. I've been here twice and will definitely be returning once a year as a treat to myself. The staff are phenomenal. The mud wrap treatment and conditioning treatment are my favorites. There's a green tea sauna, whirlpool, steam room, pool and more. They've got hair tools available on request should you need one. The bathrooms are clean, the food amazzzzing. Definitely try this place once. Go early in the morning and stay the day!
4 stars as the spa is not perfect which one would expect from a 5 star hotel. The bubbling lay down pool bubbles up into your face. The shower body jets lack pressure. The snacks are old and pedestrian at best. Tea station is missing milk and sugar.
They strive to take care of your every need. You definitely feel pampered while enjoying your stay there. I had an east vs west massage (thai mixed with shiatsu) that was amazing. Also had this romanian women who did my signature pedicure. She was simply amazing very friendly nice to talk to and you can actually tell that she loves her job by the way she takes care of your feet i was amazed on how nice they looked after she was done with them it was amazing thank you guys so much.
Excellent registered massage therapist and great facilities. However, this place lacked in service and cleanliness compared to the competition. Kleenex or toilet paper in the shower stall, and a serious dirt ring around the whirlpool. No menus for food clearly visible. Need to be diligent on the basics!
This spa is amazing! The staff is wonderful. Very relaxing environment and great service!
WORST SPA EXPERIENCE EVER. I am totally shocked at how low quality this place really is. When you hear that a spa is located in the Ritz Carlton, often people will of course think it would be a piece of heaven. Especially when in conjunction with the Clarins company. Coming here I had thought ,since they both had an outstanding reputation, that I would have a phenomenal experience. I have been to countless spas and it is sad to say that this is one of the worst. I booked my experience back in July because it was my birthday and I had also brought one of my girlfriends along with me to have a relaxing day. Looking through the reviews and the images I was so excited. My friend had booked a facial and I had booked a massage - we planned them to both be at the same time so that when our service was finished we wouldn't be waiting on one another - we could relax at the "pool". When I had gotten there I was shocked. First of all, my booking was butchered. When i first booked over the phone I asked specifically for a female masseuse I didn't feel comfortable with a male. When I am being walked to the room I realize that my masseuse was the male walking beside me... So i ask him is there another masseuse coming? Particularly female? He looked puzzled and offended and said that he was the one booked with me today. I was shocked and apologized and said that I specifically remember booking a female and I do not feel comfortable with this situation. Instead of apologizing and figuring out what can be done to fix this situation he comes of as rude and tells me "So what, it is not a problem". i look at him shocked and sit in their waiting area. When he realizes there is no way I am going to continue on with the service he finally goes back to the front desk. After a 15 minute wait he returns and tells me that I have to wait an hour until a female masseuse can take me!!!! I was so angry- not only am I waiting in their literally -10 seat waiting area- for an HOUR but I will have my friend wait on me. That is specifically the reason I had asked to make both services at the same time. I didn't complain - instead I went back into the women's change room and realize their "jaccuzi" can literally fit one person or maximum two at a time. It was so shocking!!! If it was a busy time people would probably be arguing over it. I leave the change room and ask the front desk of the spa where their pool that they advertise in their website is and they tell me its across the hall but its also for the hotel. At this point I'm fuming because when I go to this pool I find 6 kids yelling and screaming "cannon ball". Even sitting in that pool wasn't relaxing because I didn't even realize that it didn't belong to the spa, therefore it won't be quiet!!! When I finally receive my massage I can tell you it was NOTHING special and super mediocre. I also asked for an eye hydrating/anti-aging addition that cost $25. It took her 5 seconds to do and since I have many Clarins products I realize that she literally used the multi -activ eye cream on my eye with the metal end. Nothing else was added onto my eye area. If you look up the retail value of this 15ml eye cream its $45! Totally not worth that one tiny application. They should have added another step to make it worth asking $25 dollars for. When me and my friend are finally finished and pay for our service the secretary writes herself $50 next to the tip slot and tells me its expected i pay at least that much for today. After that horrible experience I was also expected to tip them $50?????? I kept quiet and finished the transaction. Never will I ever come to this establishment again. It is too small and their amenities are not worth the prices they ask for. I am going to stay away from big brand names and try to stick to just good reviews because clearly a name will not ensure an incredible experience. Never returning here again.
Amazing...Just experienced the Jet Lag signature treatment and I must say...Superb. I think I found my monthly regimen for stress!
(Translated) A haven of peace! The spa offers everything you need to relax. After your treatment, do not hesitate to order a dish from the menu :) PS: the vegan crispy rolls are delicious! (Original) Un havre de paix! Le spa offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour relaxer. Après votre soin, n’hésitez pas à commander un plat du menu :) PS: les vegan crispy rolls sont délicieux !
BEST SPA DOWNTOWN!! Grace is amazing! I recommend her for facial treatments. She takes the time to explain everything and is very attentive!
Spa My Blend is so far the best spa in Toronto on my list. A lot of great facilities, free snacks, coffee & tea. You can also try all the Clarins skincare and makeup products while you are at the spa. I also had massage with Elena and she was perfect. She did a great job and my body now feels very relaxed. Elena also showed me some exercises that I can do at home to stretch my problem areas. Overall atmosphere and experience has been all that I could wish for. I am coming back for sure!
This is the spa to visit if you want to be pampered. The service is amazing and friendly. The ladies area has a hot tub, dry sauna, and wet sauna. There are chilled cucumber towels for your face. The snacks are nice. The co-ed lounge has a few extra snacks, carrot muffins, nuts, yogurt pretzels, and dried pineapple. The space is bright with lots of lounging chairs. I'm a big fan of Sloane teas and they offer a selection. The massage rooms are quiet and comfortable. The swimming pool is across the reception area and separate from the lounges. Overall I loved my experience here and it's definitely worth a visit. :)
Salvatore gives a great massage, service and facilities top notch. Don't miss the nut bark and pretzels in the lounge areas!
Booked a hot stone massage - Hélène was amazing! Highly recommend. Facilities are nice. Made for a very relaxing experience. Look forward to returning.
I like that this Ritz spa has a co-ed lounge area, which is nice if you are going as a couple. There are always tasty snacks and I like how you are able to order food in if you would like to relax a little longer. I like the shallow jacuzzi style, though I am sure some might prefer the larger, communal pool which could fit a large party since there are only spots for two people to lie down. I love the smell of their dry sauna, which smells like you’re at a real outdoor sauna. I was not blown out of the water compared to my experience at some other (Ritz, etc) spas, but I did feel like I was able to really relax and enjoy my time. It can get very busy and one thing I do not like is how you have to cross the hall to access the pool, thought that is not always uncommon. Definitely bring your swimming suit if you can! You will feel much more comfortable, especially with the shallow jacuzzi!
The hydra essential facial is my go to when I feel my skin is dull or tired. I highly recommend it before a special event.
I really wanted to love this place because I love Clarins Skin Care and use it at home. I usually go to Miraj Caudalie Hammam Spa at the Shangri-La, but wanted a little change for my luxury spa experience this time. I went in super excited and positive from the reviews, and recommendation from a friend that the spa is great. I was generally well received at the spa, and it was beautiful, bright and clean. 2 stars because they are deceptive about their services. I booked a Lime & Macadamia scrub which was okay.. she didn't scrub all the way up my legs.. I also booked a $250, 60 minute Spa My Blend Renewal facial that was suppose to include a special LED mask that omitted blue & red light that targets specific areas on my face, a waveblend technology machine that was suppose to vibrate on the contours of my face and a cryotherapy machine that was supposed to cool my face but she did NOTHING but put layers and layers of creams and serums on my face. My face felt heavy, sticky and irritated after the facial. She spent 40 minutes putting cream on my arms neck and shoulders. Other 20 minutes was spent layering random creams on my face. I told them the description of the facial is deceptive and they agreed and apologized and offered 20% off the facial price. I went there because I wanted these procedures done, thats what was written on the website, and thats what I was paying for and booked. I will not return here because it's a rip off. Many other beautiful luxury spas in the city who aren't deceptive and overcharge while false advertising.
Great experience. I loved the atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff. Will be back.
Booked 2 massages for $400 this December and the service was very ordinary compared to any other 5-star places I have been to earlier. Infact I didn't even receive the massage for the full time and the RMT finished it 10 min earlier than the official time. They were too much in a hurry because of the rush. Was trying the hair blow after the shower and it started sparkling in my hand and then had to wait for 20 min for the attendent to get free and listen to the complain. All other amenities are really good as they have separate Jacuzzi and steam rooms but definitely not worth the $$ amount they charge.
An amazing experience here. All the staff here are so friendly and helpful. Miranda was my masseuse and she did a stellar job. Ask for her when booking. She's fantastic. All the rooms are beautiful, well kept and smell amazing. Definitely coming back here again.
One of my best spa experiences! I reccomend spending most of the day there so you relax and rejuvinate in the eucalyptus steam room, salt water pool, sauna and enjoy some tea/flavoured water in lounge. Oh, the massage beds are heated!
Awesome service and staff!we'll definitely come back!
I had an amazing mommy to be massage with Laurel. She was awesome. I have had several massages during my pregnancy and this by far was the best. Front desk staff are just okay, could definitely be more welcoming. Facilities and pool in good condition. Nice place to relax.
Amazing experience. Felt very pampered.
Had a pleasant facial, but was expecting a little more, was nothing like a previous facial I have had in another Clarins Spa Spa facilities offered a relaxing area to wait after treatments. But nothing else as offered no teas or snacks as offered previously. I'm sure they can offer you tea in takeaway sealed cup . Other spas during COVID have been much more accommodating. Very overpriced, for what you received. Disappointed.
Experience and massage was excellent but understand if you're going during these times there are no snacks or drinks available as well as the hot tubs, sauna, steam rooms are all closed. Just the pool is open. I think considering this there should be some sort of discounted price.
OMG ladies n my queens!! I found the renowned aesthetician Dana from the Stillwater spa here!!! Just totally happened to call into the reception and found that out as I randomly called spas around Toronto to find her. This spa is so amazing - it’s so clean, the staff is Uber nice and I still can’t believe I found her here!!! I got a facial from her as usual and i m acne prone - dehydrated oily skin and she totally balanced it n hydrated it. Her experience and extraction skills and knowledge in the field are really second to none. I been to so many other 5 star hotel spas downtown where the facials are so relaxing that nothing (results) is achieved - totally done the leg work already - the Shangri, the 4 seasons, hazelton, trump. I don’t need dancing fingers on my face that do nothing - I want to see results. However my only small complain is that this is a Clarins spa, so the line is a little cheap compared to the Skinceuticals facials I was used to .... so go figure ... and also Yes the facial was more pricey than before but the spa amentities definitely makes up for it. I will definitely come back for more!!! Thank you!!!! ????????
A bit pricey, but totally worth it if you're treating yourself and a special someone or friend. Recommend coming an hour or so before (or staying after) your treatment to really enjoy the facilities and get the most out of it. Beautiful spa and service, and the staff are very accommodating.
This is the one place where I can actually feel so relaxed and in peace!!! All the RMTs are awesome. The staff is lovely and so kind and really meet every aspect of customer satisfaction! I would recommend to go a little earlier and enjoy the pool, wet and hot sauna and jacuzzi! They have a really nice waiting/relaxing area with the most delish teas! I would strongly suggest to anyone who has not been to try them out!!! Loveeee Clarins at Ritz soo much! Thank you for always making us feel so comfortable and relaxed! ❤
Simply Excellent. Flawless Experience.
I have been to this spa 4 times over the last year for an hour deep tissue massage which have been great. My issue lies with the up keep and maintenance of the spa. I always visit during the week at different hours of the day and one thing I’ve noticed is the lack of help. Towels seem to be everywhere and no one around to ask for help in the lounge area. I also wish they left the “food/snack menu” available in the lounge area. Instead I had to call the front desk 3 times before they picked up the line and request they bring out the menu. The four seasons spa is my new fav.
Beautiful and relaxing spa. The change rooms are large and have all the toiletries you’d need for getting ready after a massage. There is a coed lounge and a gendered quiet area for relaxing. I’ve spent a few hours here in addition to my massage appointment. There are lights snacks and plenty of tea for your enjoyment. The staff are friendly and helpful. The spa provide slippers, locked lockers, and a robe. You just need to arrive with a bathing suit on to make use of the steam, pool, and sauna. They do add an 18% tip which you can reduce or remove by request. That’s the only issue I have with this spa. A massage by an RMT is a professional service do not sure why they add this in.
I went for a mini girls' getaway with my friend and booked a massage. I had been dealing with a painful injury that was mystifying my physiotherapist and was only minimally and temporarily relieved by 2 different chiropractors. I didn't expect that a spa massage was going to be much help, and was mostly looking for relaxation. Raphael, my randomly assigned RMT was not only able to offer me a possible diagnosis that I hadn't heard before, but he also literally fixed it. It was a strong massage, and painful at times, but I trusted him based on the knowledge and skill he was demonstrating. I waited for the pain to come back for 3 days before I realized that it wasn't going to, and that I was finally getting stronger again. So grateful. I'll be back for sure.
Mixed feelings about my experience. The front desk staff was welcoming, and my massage therapist provided great service. However, I found the attendants to be unwelcoming and bitter. I was relaxing for a short while in the lounge as I waited for my boyfriend to finish his meeting, and the attendant asked me if I was waiting for a treatment. I said no, I've just finished, and she frowned and walked away. None of the staff offered me a menu, drink or anything as they ignored me in the sanctuary as well. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but I believe there are far superior options at this price.
Very relaxing experience. The stress relief package was great and my favourite part was the mud wrap. It was warming and calming - the perfect antidote to a cold winter day. The amenities are also very nice. Everyone is very welcoming. Highly recommend!
Every staff is above and beyond with the service here. The atmosphere is absolutely one of the best you could find in Toronto. If you choose to do a massage that's 60 mins or more, you can enjoy their pool, sauna, hot tubs and shower. I used to go somewhere else for massages, not anymore! For everything you can get here, the price is reasonable and very much worth it. I'd recommend to come with girlfriends and have a spa day here. They also offer food/drinks in the lounge at the spa. Love!
Absolutely love this Spa. The ambience, the service, the different service options, everything about Spa My Blend is amazing. Definitely a great place to go if you don’t have a lot of money but want to splurge on yourself. Prices are pretty steep but well worth it! With every service you get access to their spa facilities which include access to: the gym, swimming pool, sauna, etc. There are quiet rooms in each change room. And a coed quiet room. Lots of options!
Got the Floating On A Cloud treatment by RMT Emily. Was very relaxing. Will be coming back!
If you need to unwind, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. The facility is spacious, nice and clean. They offer multiple services; facials, massages, body treatments and manicures/pedicures. Whats also a big bonus is that you can use the amenities (gym, pool, jacuzzi) at no extra cost. My RMT Arlin was amazing! She had soft enough hands for it to be relaxing, but also put enough pressure to get out all the kinks in my back. I came here as a couple and my partner had a massage at the same time. His RMT was Natalie and he seemed to really enjoy his massage as well. The co-ed room offered some light snacks and tea (which was probably the best green tea I've ever had). We had such a good experience. Definitely coming back for our anniversary. Thank you Spa My Blend!!
Great service and a nice treatment.
Massage was very good. Facilities new and clean. Some things I didnt like were the ellipticals in the gym, the towels and robes were almost too old, the layout of facilities is soso. Things I did like were to 10 headed shower. That shower is one of the best spa showers in the city. I also liked the dry steam with the water bucket and ladle. The green tea hot tub with the million jets was cool. It was great but throw out old towels and robes more frequently and buy different ellipticals Also put eucalyptus spray in the showers like the 4 seasons spa.
Obviously a top rating. From when you walk in, to when you check out you're treated with a level of service that you don't find many other places. Enjoyed the use of all the facility had to offer; pool, jacuzzi, lounge. The massage and facial I booked were just as great. It's what you would expect from a luxury spa. The best thing that I found was, that there wasn't an air of pretension.
Very Poor communication through the staff. The spa is super clean and relaxing but this time my treatment was cut to 40 min instead of 60 min . I was waiting for valet car services for 5 min and arrived 10 min late to my appointment which it was my mistake but i thought i wont be able to come in earlier due to covid . No one mentioned to me that my treatment will be cut to 40 min so i did not adjust my add ons . The massage was rush , the add on services was rushed so very disappointed of how it went . They should have mentioned something to me .
For a couple's one hour massage, after tax and gratuity, we paid over $500. Here's how the day broke down: Pros: - lounge area is relaxing, open and airy with snacks and drinks - relaxation area for quiet napping in women's change room - private hot tubs in change rooms - Hotel valet parking is $15/4 hrs and $5 for each additional hour, which is cheap for Toronto Cons: - pools and spas facilities are shared with the hotel gym, which is open to all hallways, so it smells like stinky feet in common areas - the hot tub is plastic, cracked and outdated - pool is outdated and has cracked tiles - most spas offer a new robe after the treatment since it's were soaked from the pools, they did not - the overall atmosphere wasn't too relaxing. Walking through the halls and in the pool area, I felt like I was in a hotel hallway waking towards the conference rooms, not a quiet luxurious spa. - the nap room is a good idea but the lights were fully on and there is a loud buzzing noise. No wonder it was empty... - personally, my massage was below average. I didn't feel like she knew how to give a "treatment" focused on one part of the body, and only knew how to do relaxation massages. I've been to several spas in Toronto, and around the world, so my review is based on that. Also, I think if you are alone or with a group of women your experience may be different BC you can stay in the women's change room. But the coed space is limited. We wouldn't go again. For that price, the are better options.
Love this Spa, I have been a couple of times. Tried the 60 mins deep tissue massages, 60 min hot stone messages with RMT Massage therapist who are knowledgeable in their work. They make sure you feel relaxed during the treatments. The Service in the change room & waiting room area is great. The only reason why this spa does not get a 5 star is because the showers in the women’s bathrooms are not well kept or maintained. The drains are blocked with hair. Therefore the shower experience is not the best.
Booked a couples massage for me and the hubby. I love the place and the amenities it offered. We had some prosecco and offered some tea and light snacks after . I love the jacuzzi, the dry and wet sauna, the access to the salt water pool and the amazing shower stalls. The only thing I didnt like is that the room is not as sound-proofed as I expected. I could hear the Toronto traffic (sirens and all) outside while I was getting a massage and it was a bit distracting. I love the essential oils we had to choose from. My RMT is good but my hubby's RMT is just meh. Overall it's still a great experience.
I am actually giving it a 4.5. Location is convenient and staffs are excellent. Varlet parking is available at $15 which is half of the regular price AND you can park until the end of day, which is excellent if you are planning to go eat/shop around the area. It is almost impossible to find a cheaper parking during daytime anywhere in T.O. The setting and equipment inside the massage room are designed to make you comfortable. The massage itself is wonderful as it really distress my body. If this is reviewed by my wife she'd probably give it a 5 star rating. For guys the change room seems a little crowded (as seen in one of the pictures posted and imagine there were 3/4 people inside (My wife said the facilities on lady's side are bigger and better). Although the design and furnitures used inside are top-notch some of the decors are showing some minor wear and tear...overall if you were like me wanting to pamper yourself and your important half here you can't go wrong!!!
Great experience with our pedicures. The lady’s at the spa were wonderful. They accommodated us last minute after Elmwood Spa booked our appointments wrong. Thanks!
My mom and I have been coming here for a few years as a birthday tradition. We love the atmosphere and the facials (while expensive) are definitely worth the money. The aestheticians are professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. The 4-star rating is primarily due in part to the fact that we wished we were told directly not to use the facilities (namely the eucalyptus steam room and sauna) after getting a facial. We were told by a staff member after that we may have completely ruined our $400 facials by using the steam room after, and we were visibly upset. We will certainly not be doing that again!
My husband and I was at the spa for our treatments this morning. We had a wonderful time, will definitely be back later. We are extremely grateful for what you all did for our special occasion. Thank you to all the staffs.
One of the best spas I've been to. The service is just fantastic. Worth the money.
Very relaxing experience. Although the vitality pools and sauna were not very great, the sanctuary was really relaxing and allowed us to have an beautiful oasis in the middle of Downtown. The prices are on the higher side but you would expect that in a five star hotel. Staff is very polite and courteous.
One of the best spas in Toronto. The service is amazing here! I had a massage treatment booked with Rafael, he was very professional and gave me an insight of what the massage will be and what area it would mostly focus on. He also suggested that I switch from Hot stone to Swedish massage as my main concern was sore muscles due to working out. I’m glad I took his advice, and the massage was very relaxing! The amenities at Ritz are awesome. The steam room, the sauna, vitality pool, coed and gender specific lounges. I will definitely be returning and would recommend to friends/family for a spa visit.
By far my favourite spa!!!
I've been to this spa a handful of times and each time I go they treat me extremely well. Their staff are very professional and know what they are doing. I've gotten some of my best spa treatments here. 10/10 would recommend
Had an amazing experience with some girlfriends here and even went back with my husband. Its very relaxing and everything is clean and they are registered massage therapists so its easy to go through insurance. Didn't give 5 stars because everyone's experience was a little different. ex. not all of us were offered water after our massage.
I always thoroughly enjoy my time at the Ritz Spa. I now make it a point to visit at least once or twice a year, and I rave about it to family and my girlfriends. The facility is quite nice and the amenities are great. The first time I visited I was making a comparison of the 4 seasons spa (where I used to always frequent) and the Ritz. I found the Ritz to be more superior in terms of snacks, service, and the lounge area. The blankets are more plush, chairs more comfortable, and the large beds are fabulous. Also, bonus points for a larger selection of magazines, food menu, and snacks (pretzels, dried fruit, chocolate sometimes and SLOAN TEA- my absolute favourite: heavenly cream is divine). On my birthdays as well, they have always made it a point to make me feel special by adding a bubbly to my lunch- which was so very thoughtful and appreciated. The reason, I gave the Ritz a 4 star only was because my last massage while excellent lacked in service from the surrounding staff (not my masseuse or front desk). The lounge area was not the friendliest, and was quite disappointing as they disturbed my relaxation time considerably. The private lounge/sleeping area , my favourite area I love to enjoy and relax in after my treatments, was completely empty and every few minutes (literally every 5 minutes) attendants would open the door, sometimes the same attendant, and peek in on me to see if I was still there. It made me extremely uncomfortable and upset as I felt I needed to rush out of the room because I was disturbing them. That said, I did speak with the front desk about it and they apologized— but I’m not sure my concerns were addressed most appropriately. I have however just booked a 90 minute prenatal treatment today for November, and it will be my first prenatal massage. I am excited about it, but sincerely hope that my last experience will not be repeated and will be exactly as I hope and dream for it to be: relaxing and easy. Also, just a heads up to other customers trying to do the same— I tried to add an additional 30 minute skin refresher facial (+$105) but the online booking system will not allow me to. Might be difficult for others wanting to do the same. All this said, Ritz spa is phenomenal and I will continue to visit — but still, a few kinks that need to be worked on: service staff, proper addressing of customer needs and more work in the pool area.
This is the go-to spa in Toronto! Beautiful, clean and luxurious! Love the co-ed common room where my husband and I both can sit and relax while we wait for our treatments! Highly recommend the visit!
Had a swedish massage and a facial. Awesome treatments and great service. My only comment is it would be better if the complimentary skin care products could be placed in the changing room instead of the co-ed lounge so that we dont need to go back and forth after the shower. Treatments are pricy, but it is worth for the price.
Just finished a full day here with my wife. Amenities are great, and her masseuse was good, but my deep tissue was likely the worst I've ever had. All in all it balances out to around a 3 star. I'll assume my massage was an anomaly rather than the standard, but it still kind of ruined it for me. I need a massage to recover from that massage.
Been to this spa numerous times. The RMT's and customer service here are some of the best in Toronto but the lack of facilities and services during Covid do not justify the price. Once things are back to normal I'll more than gladly return.
Have been here twice with my wife. Very relaxing all day experience. Great RMT and perfect atmosphere for some R&R. Couples massages are great and then you can stay as long as you want for the entire day to use pools and steam room and coed relaxing lounge. Amazing veggie burgers! Obviously pricey services but if you have work benefits it helps. A great treat!
Get pedis there regularly and massage nice and high end - expect to pay a premium - nice foot scrub used and polish perfect
So very happy I sent my mom here on Sunday! She was sooo comfortable and relaxed. She had the ultimate 90min facial and she loved every bit of the experience. Friendly service and she even fell asleep in the quiet room after her service. Thank you for making my birthday gift a hit and better than my sister’s gift LOL. But really, I’m now going to book my own services here and I can’t wait. Worth every single penny!
Amazing spa experience. Incredible staff and clean facilities.
Good place to relax with excellent massages and atmosphere
The spa was an amazing experience ! I got the best mud wrap treatment from Lisa. She was very friendly, attentive and made great conversation. The treatment made my skin feel amazing. Would definitely do it again. Further, Larissa was incredibly accommodating and extremely friendly. She made you feel like a celebrity. Will definitely be back :)
Larissa, the spa attendant is very pleasant and remembers me each time I come to the ritz Carlton Spa my blend by Clarins for some self care ! She is sweet and great to talk to. She is informative and attentive. She takes care of all the needs for the spa. Great person ! Makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
I had the worst ever experience at your spa last year and wanted you to know about it. These are the pain points of my experience: ⁃ Bad quality of body massage ⁃ Did Not complete 90 minutes ⁃ Charged extra for head massage but was not worth the money spent As the person did not know what head massage is. ⁃ As expensive as Ivanka’s but the quality of massage not even close to them ⁃ Did not cover up the side / area not being massaged which spoiled the effect of the massage ⁃ Deep tissue massage should be assigned someone who has the muscle strength to apply pressure. The masseuse was uninterested in her own profession. Nobody should go to this spa. It’s the opposite of relaxation.
Awesome place ! Been getting a massage and pedicure for years there - feel great after and look great - proud to wear my sandals always with my toes looking so great
Good location and lockers. Excellent service
