Used to be the best and has gone SO down hill. You're a dime a dozen. Got shellac, and they don't wait for the UV light to run its time, so it's rushed and starts to chip quickly after. As a nice bonus, she cut my cuticle and had to wait until it stopped bleeding to continue. When they ask you to pick a colour, they don't tell you which ones are more expensive (different price for CDN, OPI and OPI Gel). If in area, try Nailing on King E.

I was referred here by a friend so of course I had to check it out. Been here already 2 times. First time I tried their shellac manicure and second time I decided to try something new for myself which was the gel manicure. I've always had shellac done but heard good things about gel too, especially better durability. So, why not give it a shot? Both visits turned out well especially the second one! My first time going there, it wasn't too busy (maybe 3-4 customers) and I went with a friend. The ladies who helped us were awesome! They were sweet and sociable. Their work was fast, clean and accurate. As fast as they were, they were also detail-oriented and made sure things were done to our liking. Whether it was checking to see if we liked the way they shaped our nails, if anything hurt us while they were doing their job or if we liked the colour we chose. What was also nice is that they gave us a quick shoulder massage as a short intermission before putting on the colour! I definitely needed one :P (as usual lol) The only thing that kind of bothered me was that the bottle of colour I chose was low and the polish was getting clumpy. If you saw that it was getting clumpy, wouldn't you think of replacing it with a new bottle instead of giving that to the customers to put on? I ended up having to do 4-5 layers since there were streaks on the first few layers too...HOWEVER, the final result wasn't too bad and my nails didn't feel like bricks with the extra layers so it turned out ok. Now, seeing a few of the reviews here about the gel nails, I was a little hesitant but went a second time anyway. I got nothing to lose and if it didn't turn out well, I could always grow out my nails or tell them to take it off right away. This time, Cara helped me and I had an AWESOME experience with her! Went through the same process as my first visit, took a little longer than expected but it was ok. It was also a bit busier with most pedi chairs taken and a couple mani tables being used. Cara was fast but very careful. If she didn't like something, she would show and tell me about it. If I agreed, then she would take it off or re-do it. She did a fantastic job and made my nails look SO pretty! The final result was perfect and I was SUPER happy with it! Overall, since I came here twice to try different things with decent to good experiences, I will definitely return again to try out other colours and nail designs. All in gel though because I am officially in LOVE with them! I would definitely recommend others to try out this place if they want good service with people that CARE about what they do and CARE about what you want.

Went on a trip to Toronto, i was really excited about this nail place. First bit was very good and my nails did look good at the end. but the lady cut me 5 times and made me bleed 4 times. she said said sorry maybe 2 times. too bad i won’t go there again because i don’t want to deal with the pain again.

The quality is so bad and the price is not the lowest compared to other neighbor salons. I had a shellac on toes and the glossy top faded and scratched off in the same evening. I'll never go back. Waste of money.

So I discovered this place in the summer. Overall when it comes to a nail salon it really does depend on your nail artist cause every salon has the same products. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to do a shellac manicure that wont chip. I recommend the nail artist Tara. She is amazing! Great service and very professional. Always asking me if I am okay with each step. Every time she does my nails the shellac lasts. Would totally recommend her and going to this place!

First time getting a full set of bio-gel nails. I didn't want them to too long and she gave me a great length. Does not include shellac, had to pay $10 extra but worth it, great selection of colors. Very busy location, best to book an appointment.

The shellac polish was probably old and it didn’t turn out well. It became droopy and I had to get a couple nails redone then the same thing happened. Ultimately, I took off the colour entirely and at that point it had already been 1.5 hours. I was still asked to pay for the manicure portion, which I did because I felt bad. However, I think I shouldn’t have needed to pay and I won’t be coming back.

Went to get my eyebrows done. They double booked my appointment so I had to wait 15 min. Since the waxing room wasn't available they had me awkwardly sit backwards in a massage chair. It had no back/neck support so it really hurt when the pushed my head backwards. She then spent 2 min working on my eyebrows. No shaping, trimming or anything. Just cleaned up some stray hairs. I could have done this myself at home, but at a cheaper cost and less pain. My eyebrows are uneven and unfinished. Won't be returning.

I went in on my birthday to get uv gel nails done and they did the worst job ever, I continuously reminded him that the nails shape wasn't the same and they can't do designs or specific designs and I totally get but when I told him I wanted jewels on my nails he said okay but when it came down to Putting the jewels on my nails he charged me 5 bucks for each finger mind you I only got two nails jewelled and the jewels were from the dollar store and he still manage to screw it up and scatter the jewels on my nail when I told him I wanted it on the side this all cost me $85 and the next day I scratched my head and I swear to god three of my nails fell off when I went back to get them fixed he did a horrible job again so there for I wouldn't even recommend this place to my arch enemy so let alone my friends worst place ever to go to I repeat don't ever go to PINKY NAILS EVER!!!!!

I had a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. She did a very nice job it seemed at first. But by the next day the pedicure was somehow smudged on my big toe, even though I only wore flip flops or bare feet the entire first day in order to present this. The shellac manicure only lasted 1 week then I had to go in and have it removed because it was peeling. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Worst place I have ever been to in my life. I asked to get a simple straight forward shellec polish (french) I had to tell the girl how it should be done. Everything was confusing to her she spoke no english. Then she called over the store owner and she also barley spoke english. At the end she still made my pay full price and the french manicure looked HORRIBLE and barely lasted a week. I will NEVER EVER go back to this place again.

Came here to get my nails taken off and they did such a painful and careless job. They kept filing until my nail was red - which means it's close to the nerve/skin. I was in so much pain and I kept yelling ouch hoping that the tech would be more careful but he wasn't. I didn't get them finished and I was crying at the end of the session and the owner still made me pay and didn't care about my experience. This place is run by people who care about money over customer service. Goodbye and good riddance.

I walked in to have a set of bio-gel nails put on, before my holiday down south. What an absolute nightmare. The very worst job that I have ever had done in my entire life (and I'm not young). The technician had me worried from the get go. Each nail for the same finger on the opposite hand was a different size and shape and they were thick and lumpy. I'm pretty certain the gal had no idea, certainly no experience, in what she was doing. Needless to say, they started to lift and crack within 24 hours and I had to cut them off within the first two days of my trip away. This is the first time this has ever happened. I should also mention this set cost me nearly $100 which is the most I have ever paid for a set of nails. Shame shame on this location. They may be good at simple manicures and pedicures but they are definitely not qualified to create artificial nails!

My friend and I came here to get our nails done before our trip to Miami. I got a bio gel set with shellac. My shellac chipped within two days. I went back and they fixed it happily, but while on my vacation ( a few days later) my bio gel nails POPPED OFF. These were expensive and my nails were ruined leaving me buying nail glue on my vacation trying to glue them back on. Not a good experience and a total waste of money. Can’t even go for a fill as they have completely started to pop off one by one

Literally just came from there and the girl did a terrible job. Asked for square shaped and once everything was done they weren't square anymore and she didn't bother fixing them and the overlay is way too think. $75 for something that looks like I did it myself and not by a "professional" and then I now have to go home and somehow fix myself cause I wouldn't trust them to fix it. Guys, more expensive doesn't always mean better. Don't go here.

I came to Pinky Nails while on vacation and they serviced me very well. I'm very specific on how I like my nails.The front desk lady took my jacket and hung it up for me!! The gentle man that did my nails was very nice, accommodating and communicative throughout the service. He did my nails just the way I like them, cut and shaped them perfectly. The color was 088 and it's absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!! Look no further.
