Joyce was very good! She does eyebrow waxing and hair cuts which were both amazing! Highly recommend her. The second time I went I saw Kevin and he did not listen to me when I said what I wanted. He cut my hair too short and told me it would look better. I did not appreciate this. They are both nice enough and I appreciate the fact that they are a family business. I would recommend Joyce over Kevin any day.

I have been to a lot of fancy and non-fancy barbers all around Toronto. I looked for a lot of places but they didn't really listen to what I want and the end result is drastically different from what I wanted. While also costing atleast 30 bucks minimum for a men's simple haircut. Then I found this place and I come here all the time because of how skilled they are and how good they are at what they do. They always pay attention to what I want and always doublecheck every now and then. plus it is family owned and their kids are always playing in the background which some people might not like but I personally think it gives a sense of warmth to the place! Lastly it only costs 15-20 bucks and I always tip them more knowing the extra money goes towards their family and their adorable kids!

Managed by Chinese couple Kevin and Joyce, this place is a hidden gem in downtown. Price is affordable and the service is good. Joyce is a lovely lady and likes to talk to customers. She is detailed and patient and will customize the hair style according to the shape of my head and face. Will definitely return!

One of the few no-nonsense hair salons where you can get a great hair cut at a budget price and leave without complaint. Kevin gave me a great hair cut with impeccable attention to detail and perfected my layers. This is also the first place where the hair dryer didn't blow directly on my scalp even for a second. I would also recommend getting the hairwash done here to get an amazing head massage. This will definitely become my go to place for the haircuts.

Came here today for the first time, after not having a proper haircut in years (do it myself or my girlfriend does). 10000% recommend this place. The detail that goes into your cut is unparalleled. And for $15 for a men's cut, it can't be beat in Toronto. I just asked for a fade and shorter on top, and left the rest up to the owner, and walked out a new man! He suggested a style for my hair (slightly receding and thinning) and it worked wonders. Very comfortable experience and I will be coming back again and again. THANKS!

Went there for years until the new ownership. Kids running around, blaring music - I used to go for pampering and relaxation - instead I left stressed out and infuriated. It's like being in a daycare from hell. Never again. Dodgy area too - street people lying on the sidewalk outside the door - hated being there after dark.

I went as a walk in for a hair cut and I was immediately attended to! Thung (I believe that is her name) had cut my hair and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She paid great detail to my hair and ensured that were was no unevenness and that the layers were seamless. The salon is in a very convenient location. Though be careful in the evening because of the rough neighbourhood. Will come back :)

I needed to get a quick hair cut during a work break and the person before me came late (nothing can be done about that) so the hairdresser had very little time before I had to run back to the office. She did a fantastic job. Very fast, but attentive and the cut looks fantastic (I went from lower back length hair to a bob). Told me I could come back for a fix up if I needed. Very friendly and overall good experience. Thank you!

This was the worst haircut I have ever had the displeasure of getting. I was ignored the entire time with my requests, children were running around screaming, and I was told what I wanted was “no good”. I asked for a receipt, which was written on a piece of paper. I am self-employed and needed it for my records, but it will not be valid. Overall, a terrible experience.

I went to ????????⛔️????????Salon on Aug 21, 2018 evening. There is an old guy (~Mike) in this salon and he was very offensive towards me and I felt like he was a racist. This is not acceptable anywhere anymore. He denied cutting my hair without any reason. There was one more hour before they close the salon. About me, I am a clean person who is working in the bank here. In addition, the lady (~Joyce) out there told me that they accept only cash, so I went out on a rainy day and withdrew the cash from ATM but when I returned I found that the store accepted the card payment from another customer in front of me. If you are first time here then you will get the feelings that you are an untouchable. The best part of the owner (~Kevin) of store is that he remains silent observing this. It has cheap rates for haircut with a cheap person around it. Get ready to be humiliated if you are going.

Eddie gives me the best haircut a man can ask for. And does it with the attention to detail and care I've only experienced in Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. It's such a different experience when people care about the services they provide, and this salon does just that. Very friendly and easy to deal with. I've been a regular for 3 years and this is where I get my haircut when I travel to Toronto.

105 Hair Studio and Spa is one of the best salons in Downtown Toronto. I discovered this gem through my husband who got a wonderful haircut from Kevin. I have always gotten my hair done by Joyce and she does a fantastic job! Both Joyce and Kevin are super sweet and take the time to understand what you want to give you exactly the haircut you were looking for. It's especially great if you can show them images of the type of haircut you are looking to get. I totally recommend it 105 hair salon for amazing service and haircuts at a reasonable cost!!

This is the best salon I've ever been to, the staff are all very friendly and kind, especially the esthetician. My friend had purchased a Groupon for me to attend and I honestly did not have high expectations in terms of the service. Jenn (esthetician) went above and beyond what I expected to help me improve my skin. She has made me more beautiful and has taught me a couple of things. Honestly, you can't ask for more from her, she only speaks the truth and will not pressure you into buying products like other salons would. She truly wants to help clients improve their skin and I am enlightened by her passion. Thanks a lot, you are the best! I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone!

Kevin is the best hair stylist i have got a chance to meet in my whole life. He cuts your hair patiently and very Very precisely. His skills are amazing and perfect to a level that it seems unreal. He recognizes ur head shape and gives you the most symmetrical cut you can imagine. I will fly from another city to get a cut fromt his guy. He charges just 17 bucks in downtown, that below average and it hurts me personally. If u find him good please tip him generously he deserves that.
