Went with my wife for a couple’s massage for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were staying at the Royal York and their spa was closed due to Covid. We could not have been more delighted with Kalani. It’s in the royal york on the lower level - extremely easy to find. Great atmosphere and a fantastic massage. Would definitely return.

Today I dropped in The spa for a microdermabrasion. I called last minute and they were able to schedule me in within the hour. The lovely Grace did my facial, and I am lost for words. She was absolutely amazing !!! The ambiance was dim, with relaxing music and soothing smells. The facial was precise, from the cleansing to the steaming, extractions, the microdermabrasion and the mask. She did an amazing massage on my upper body while the mask dried, and she knows all the pressure points to release all that stress. It was the best, most relaxing facial I’ve ever had! She got rid of all my breakouts, and left me with a wonderful fresh face, and a clear complexion. I am beyond pleased !! Thankyou !!

On Wedneday September 4th 2019 I had a very important interview scheduled. I would like to share my "Pretty Woman" Cinderella story with you. I had my hair done for the occasion at another salon. What a mess. It looked dry/damaged. I had small hairs sticking up from the over heated blow dryer which broke my hair from her rough handling. In fact my hair looked better before entering the salon which shall remain nameless. We all know it's expensive being a woman. Just getting our hair washed and blow dryed runs us $40-50.00. As I was walking past Kalini Spa inside the Fairmont Royal York I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. It was shocking. I decided to go in. I was greeted warmly . I explained my plight, before I knew it I was sitting in Maryam 's chair. She knew exactly what to do with my fine hair. She put my hair in gentle rollers, she applied the correct products to not weigh down my hair. Before I knew it I had big American hair. My dream came true. I asked how much. She said"no charge". Unbelievable. Here I have been experiencing a bad hair day for the last 30 plus years. It gets better. Maryam gave me eyebrows as mine are non existent from constant plucking since the 70's. She applied eye liner and high lighter to my eyes and under my eyes. As I looked at myself in the mirror I swear I looked twenty years younger. She even suggested a lipstick which completely brighten my complexion. What a gift Maryam has. So ladies if you want to look like a million without spending a million you owe it to yourself to make an appointment. You won't regret it. They say it doesn't cost more to use the very best. You will be entering into a Zen like salon with tranquil music and pristine atmosphere. I have never looked or felt so great. Ten stars. Kudos to Maryam. A very grateful and satisfied client. I found my salon of choice. Finally.

I have been going to Kalani Spa since 2010. It’s a 1 stop shop for all my needs - no need to go anywhere else! I get my hair, massages, nails, facials, waxing, threading, and makeup. Done here. Highly recommend this place. Please check it out! Also, there is a new master hair colourist Zarina who has recently joined the Kalani spa - whom knows everything when it comes to hair! I am very impressed.

Poor quality massage. Purchased a deep tissue massage which was more of an aromatherapy. Asked if the pressure was ok at the beginning of the massage which was ok at first but then drastically changed to almost not feeling anything. No knots removed, had so much oil put in my hair for the deep scalp and neck massage but didn't really feel any massage being done . Reception was great. Would not come back

RMTs didn’t show up. We walked in 15 minutes before for a couples massage, waited at the front desk for 5 minutes for a more senior person to tell us that both RMTs didn’t show up and that they need to cancel. No voucher offered nor call beforehand to tell us that it’s cancelled. Have been to some great and professional massages in the city, so would avoid this place
