TL:DR: Not worth what you are spending on a service. My technician was lovely but the gel polish they used on my hands was poor quality and didn't cure, even after additional curing. Within an hour the product was matted and stuck to everything. The atmosphere at the salon was not relaxing and some staff didn't seem to notice that their conversations were not comfortable for their clients to listen to. I did voice this to my technician and she did her best to try to compensate for it. The experience cost me $150- which is more than I have ever paid for a mani/pedi. When I showed it to my friends, they asked if I had done it myself, because it did not look professional. I called to ask for a refund for the manicure and I had to speak to three people, all of which were not helpful. They did offer to fix it but I made it clear that I did not want to go back. Eventually I was offered a $10 refund for the gel polish. There are better places for this service so don't bother booking here.

Booked manicure, and coming back for a pedicure later on in the day. After the manicure was finished and I went to pay, they said they gave away the pedicure spot to someone else. Asked me to come back tomorrow... I told them I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow!! I know better now and there won't be a next time!! Nice place but the service and staff are definitely not spa-like.

I called near closing time to book an appointment for the following morning and Val did her best and got me the appointment. Customer service was great - the atmosphere was friendly and I felt like a valued customer. Everything was clean, there was no crowding and everyone had PPE. The selection of gel colours seemed limited at first but Val pointed out that there were glow in the dark options which (never had glow in the dark nails before so obviously I had to try those colours out) and I'm very happy with how they turned out! Amazing experience! 10/10 would recommend!

Very clean and calming place. My masseuse - Val, was very informative and informed me everytime she was working on a new spot on the body. She was energetic and enthusiastic to be there and made it a positive experience for me. Just wish the room was a little bigger as I felt a little squished in the space.

Have been a regular client for numerous years of the Day Spa ~relaxing atmosphere????~ spa uses excellent organic products~I have had very sensitive skin all of my life~my skin loves Eminence's ~staff are exceptional well trained and provide excellent customer service~can't say enough positive comments about the spa~it's a great treat for yourself????

I love this spa! The staff are very accommodating. The atmosphere is so relaxing. It's definitely the best place to get your brows done in Thunder Bay! Tara is a an eye brow specialist (among other things). I would highly reccomend this place! You won't be disappointed!
