As a customer who has been going to Solace for about 10 years, I am very impressed with the service that Sarah and her staff have provided me. Not once have I been disappointed as a client. Sarah and her staff provide professional, personable, and highly competent service that continuously goes above and beyond the call of duty. Without a doubt, every appointment and haircut has exceeded my expectations. Furthermore, many of my closest friends, family members, and even strangers at times, have always complimented my hair all because of the awesome work done by Sarah and her incredible staff! When I was living in Toronto for work and attending university in Hamilton, I didn’t let the distance stop me from going to Solace. The outstanding service was definitely worth the drive back to Thorold lol! If I could give a rating higher than 5, I wouldn’t hesitate or think twice about it. Sarah and all the staff at Solace deserve a perfect 10! Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for the 10 years of amazing service I have received as a client. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Awkward environment, my friend came to get her hair cut and the hair stylist wasn’t listening to what she wanted. She was completely silent the entire time didn’t speak to nor me or my friend except about her hair. She made me stand the entire time when my friend was getting my haircut and I asked if I could sit down and she wouldn’t let me??? Obviously I’m here to watch my friend get her haircut and she just told me I could sit in the waiting room. Maybe it was just the particular hairstylists working at the time but it was just disrespectful.

I’ve always appreciated that they care about keeping the integrity of your hair as well and use quality products to do so. Sarah has a lot of knowledge and will tell you the best way to achieve the look you’re going for. My balayage I had done by Robyn is my favourite style I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Had the greatest experience at Solace. First, the girls were able to accommodate me LAST MINUTE and took me in within 15mins of my phone call, very appreciated! Secondly, the atmosphere was fantastic! Great staff. A beautiful salon and wonderful energy throughout the place! And finally, the haircut. Well, let me tell you, I will never go to another salon again! I've had SO MANY compliments on my hair, its refreshing. Danielle avsolutely nailed it. She gave me exactly what I wanted, even better than I imagined actually. I will be switching my daughter over to Solace as well! Loved my experience there. The best staff you’ll ever meet! Sarah has all the answers you could need when it comes to hair and all the other girls are so nice and helpful too. Robyn did my hair for my wedding earlier this year and the curls held all day, even with all the rain, and usually curls last about 2 seconds in my hair. Cute little spot too, you won’t regret visiting!

Today's appt was amazing...I have very thick hair was long all one length and wanted lots of layers today...turned out great I feel 10 lbs lighter and color is perfect...Sarah rules she is like a artist...because of the thickness of my hair I was ready to cut it off as it takes so long to dry...my job will be easier now and look great with less work for me...Thank you Sarah and Robin ????
