I will say this: the location is very clean and classy. My pedicurist was friendly and accommodating What I am dissapointed in was the end product. I had a shellac pedicure done and it was not the color I wanted. It looks like mustard - the color did not come out as advertised and now I'm stuck it with before going on vacation :-(

Cindy & Linda are always there to greet you with a smile, and all the ladies here are so talented and friendly! Ever since I've come here, my nails have been strong, SO beautiful and I can be comfortable knowing they value cleanliness! So happy everytime! :)

Niagara Beauty Finds

I have had nothing but good experiences here. I only got my nails done once but they looked fantastic. The other times I have gone was to get my hair done. The first time I went I got A LOT of hair chopped off and Mary was very patient and caring making sure I was ready for the big chop. Ever since I have gone back to Mary and received excellent service everytime. I plan on going to see her again this week for a refresher:)

First time here, the ladies were super friendly, but they totally messed up my nails. I went in to have them done for engagement photos, and she put most of the nails on crooked. The colour was nice but that's the only good thing I can say about it. She also waxed my eyebrows and they are super thin and uneven. I called to have them fixed and when I went in they said I came in late even though I confirmed the appointment time. I had to file my own nail to show the girl how to fix it, and even now they do not look nice. Now I get to scrub the gel and polish off of my cuticles so they don't look completely trash.

The atmosphere is lovely but the customer service and end product need major work. I had an appointment booked for 6pm and was not seated for my pedicure until 6:45pm. Sat there for another 30 min while they were working on other clients. Definitely over booked and under staffed. The end product was very messy with nail polish all over my cuticles and on the skin around my nails. I thought they’d clean them up before finishing but they did not. I would have asked but they closed at 7pm and it was already 8:30pm by the time I was done because nobody started working on me until 7:15pm! I had a pedicure and shellac manicure booked. I felt bad they were staying late to finish my services otherwise I would have asked them to do my nails over. The end product was not worth the money and I will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

Very disappointed with my Shellac Manicure. I spent $30 and it started to peel the next day. When I went back, even though the store website states its opened on Monday's, they were closed so my nails could not be fixed. Also the manicure itself was rushed and I felt like I was not an important customer to them. I will be taking my business elsewhere to a better nail salon in St Catharines.

I had the worst experience there.. I told the lady what I wanted and it wasn’t very difficult. All it was was a medium length nail with white polish. She sliced the side of my finger open, had a death grip on my hand and to top it off she made my nails look terrible. They were too long, some of my nails looked like they were already grown out and she didn’t buff down my one nail and I had a huge hump on it. I wanna post the pictures but have no idea how to..

I am not a regular here but I have been here a few times. Every time I have gone I have received excellent service from the super friendly staff and the space and tools are always very clean. They always do a great job on my nails (hands and feet) and it has become my go to place when I want my nails done!

Constructive Feedback

I had to wait 10 min before anyone even acknowledged me and I had an appt. The person who did my nails clearly hated her job. The lady next to me was complaining to her customer about how she never gets any time off. She convinced me to get another colour as I said I had something similar at home and I guess she knew their nail polish is bad quaity (never heard of the brand they use) so she said I could touch up at home. By the time she got to my finger nails, the polish was bubbling so she went and added some water to the bottle!!!! I couldn't believe it. I was very careful and by the time I got home, my nails were bubbling and cracking and I didn't put it in water until the next day and it was already doing this. I will say that the pedicure chairs were comfy and they had jacuzzi's which was really nice. I barely got a hand massage for the manicure though which was also disappointing. I had high hopes but won't be going back here. It is a good habit that they ask for us to pay before the manicure so there's no chance at smudging. The guy at the front desk could barely look up from his cell phone to let me pay and say goodbye.

Very clean and nice staff. No rush here, even mid-day Saturday you could stay as long as you need to truly dry. Just got a pedicure which was $28 and a thorough job and pleasant experience!

Worst nails I’ve ever had. Got a shellac manicure and my nails were sorta long so I decided for it. She didn’t ask me what shape I wanted, and she cut my cuticles so badly. After it dried I saw that the polish and top coat were pooled in my cuticles and the tips of my nails weren’t painted and very rough and were getting caught on my shirt. Don’t get shellac nails, they do not care. My friend came with me and her nails are so short that she said the girl was filing them so short it hurt her. Nail polish is pooled too and she has it around her nails as well. Very disappointed.

I was referred to Hanna to get my hair colour done. Beautiful space, and Hanna really knows her stuff, very happy with my colour and will be going back! Friendly, accommodating, and while I waited for processing I got a pedicure and eyebrows done! Saved me so much time, love one stop shopping! Have only been once to Hanna, she was amazing and I will be back for sure, highly recommend. Oh, and very reasonable pricing!

This place is 2nd to none!!!! Ive been going here since day 1 and absolutely love it!!!! The atmosphere is relaxing, my services are fabulous, prices are reasonable, employees are friendly/knowledgeable and the owners are very hospitable. I go every 2 weeks and what amazes me the most is that my nails last...no chipping...no lifting. My nails are done by Tia:)) I have also had my hair cut & colored by Mary and that was great as well. I've gotten my nails done at this location at least four times over the past two years and each visit has been fantastic. The employees are friendly, patient, helpful with colour choices, and very skilled at what they do. Atmosphere is comfortable even for a girl who normally feels so out of place at any beauty salon! Prices are also a lot better than I've seen in the region considering the quality. Good work ladies.

Loved this chic, boutique-like nail salon! Hannah and Tia are absolutely lovely. They can do so much here from hair to nails to facials to makeup. It's a great "one-stop-shop" here in Niagara Falls. Highly recommend getting stiletto nails by Tia!

Went in for UV gel nails and she did acrylic. I know the difference between the two, but she told me it was a UV gel powder.... I'm not very good at speaking up in these kind of situations so I decided to just let her do it. There was no UV light even involved, which is kind of the point of gel nails. Went back a second time, clearly said UV GEL and the same thing happened again! Never going back and wasting my money on them. If this happens to anyone else please don't make the mistake I did and trust them when they say it's a UV gel powder. They are lying to you and overcharging you.

This was and is the worse place to get nails and pedicures, booked for a party of 9 bridal party October 13th 2016 , which means be prepared, which means everyone of the party needs to be worked on at the same time , nails and pedi . I paid way to much for the quality I got, I was also late for the rehearsal dinner because they took so much time most of it waiting for the next step of my mani pedi . We all had waiting time in between. You will never be more then 1 star until you manage better..

*EDIT* PUBLIC HEALTH CALLED ME TO TELL ME THEY ARE REUSING DREMAL BITS AND FILES. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK OR GET FUNGUS !!!! DO NOT COME HERE, I have had my nails on for 2 weeks now and I have nail fungus under my nail. Nails were way too thin and I even broke one just a week into having by changing my bed sheets. When the lady fixed it she said it's not their fault and that I needed to be more careful... my nails are lifted, uneven and not done well at all.

Horrible service-WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! My sister (the bride) booked an appointment months before we arrived for July 26th. They did not have her appointment so she had to re-book closer to arrival and even still they weren't prepared to do our group (of 5) nails when we arrived. Our appointment was for 3pm. Nobody got started untill closer to 4pm. The last person was finished at 7pm! I have no words on how poorly prepared the staff was. They even took people ahead of us & during our services and the paint job was horribly done! Mine is chipping and it's been less than a week and I have gel nails. 2 of us has to have nail re-done during the visit. Just horrible and I was disappointment as this was supposed to be a fun appointment for the bride and bridal party and only 1 person was completely happy with their quality of their nail job. Would NEVER go back!

After hearing good things about this salon I decided to check it out while visiting Niagara. I went in for a fill for my gel nails. I had called that morning to check if any nail technicians were able to do nail art and I was assured they could. Well this was not the case. The girl did a terrible job. All I would have liked was a couple nice flowers and it just looks like a bunch of lines everywhere. Does not resemble flowers at all. At this point I wasn't happy at all, I just wanted to leave. So I get up to the counter to pay and they girl tells me my total is $67. My jaw hit the floor. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for quality, however this was FAR from it. They charged me for the basic fill then $20 for shellac ($10 per hand compared to $5 that I pay at my salon in Toronto) and $15 for a design I couldn't stand. I uaually get my nails done at a cute little salon in Toronto and pay $45 max and that's including tip. Long story short maybe this is a nice salon to get a pedicure but I think for nails it's extremely overpriced, especially when you don't get what you pay for. Will not be back.

I thought they did an excellent job, got a gel manicure it was great job,the service was good and the price was average like everywhere else. I like the fact that it was very clean. Worst Shellac I’ve ever had. I was recommended to Nail Bar by a friend, the girls working were friendly enough but the tables are dirty and there is no communication with the customer. I decided to get shellac because my nails were getting long and I didn’t want them to break, the girl never asked me what shape I wanted she just started filling. She also left most of the nail polish on my fingers that I had on previous to my appointment. She filled my nails too short, the application of the shellac is horrific and there’s even gel on my skin. Great price sure, but you get what you pay for. Wish I could post a picture of how disgusting my nails look.

I have tried many of the nail salons in the Niagara area. I have been going to nail bar every 2-3 weeks since they've opened. I specifically ask for Tia, whom is the most wonderful, accommodating and friendly woman; she and all the staff have always been welcoming, and have excellent customer service. I refuse to go to any other establishment. for the work and atmosphere the prices are great and the quality of products show. I have natural long nails, thus normally I get shellac and dip power; if you're on the go like I am the Dip power lasts forever and they have excellent colour selections in both products.

Avoid this place. They will sell you the most expensive nail treatment but use a less expensive treatment and say that its the more expensive one. They also try to cover it up and make it look better. When told about this, they told us "too bad, we dont do refunds". Avoid this place!!!!!

The most terrible nail salon in Niagara Falls! I do not recommend it to anyone! Workers are deceivers and do not take their job responsibly. Now I will explain ... Firstly, I was made acrylic nails, and I paid as a gel. I know the difference between gel and acrylic. When I asked to make a manicure, this girl does not remember her name, dipped my nails in barely warm water for 40seconds and did not even use a special spatula to treat the cuticle. She just started to scrape dry cuticles for me. When I asked, "What are you doing?" She answered me "manicure." It is very unfortunate that these workers consider us clients as idiots !!!!! For "manicure" and nail extension I paid $ 70. For what????

If you have gift certificates, before you get your services done make sure that the staff will accept them. A family member just went here and tried to use a gift certificate I bought her - she was told she couldn’t use it because they have new owners. I’m embarrassed that they made her pay for what she thought was a pre-paid gift. She even told them she was using a gift certificate when she made the appointment and they didn’t mention anything about not taking them anymore. Super disappointed as I know other friends and family haven’t yet used the ones I bought them. What a shame and a waste of money.

It was my first time at this place, went to get my sis nails done.it was my worst experience there the lady who did the nails was so RUDE,IMPAATIENT,ARROGANT,RACIST,ARGUMENTAL.When I went in I said them I don’t have appointment can u still do the nails they said they were fine with it but, I need to wait 15mins which was ok with me. After 15mins a lady come and starts doing my sis nails she was so kind, before she start doing it I mentioned her can u put the fake nail to one of my sis finger cause it’s broken and she said yes. After 5mins the other lady who was rude call her and tells her to do some other work, and she took over the half done work. I said her are u putting the fake nail which I asked for?she said I don’t have time for that I won’t do that, I said ‘I asked for it before’. She was talking to me as if she was doing me a favour and said you came without appointment, I said her I asked about it before but u said it’s fine without appointment. Not only her words were rude her work was bad too she cut my sis skin it was bleeding and no care was taken.I was talking about the incident what had happened to the guy who was at reception and she was making fun of me with the other customer. This is not the way to run a business. If I had 0 to rate I would have given that. Because of her these guys will be loosing customers. Very bad service.poor communication with customers. Never going back again.i wish someone straighten her up.

My friend and I went and were overcharged... they applied shellac on my friend without specifying.... she was getting gel nails... why would she want shellac...? I received a shellac manicure... within 4 days my nails looked absolutely terrible. By day 8 the shellac had all peeled off .... it was Terrible to pay so much for 3 days of nice nails... they charge me almost double my normal nail salon... I am a shellac regular and I can make my nails last 2-3 weeks.... not 4 days!! My friend has her nails fall OFF on the 3 day! 2 of her nails tips came right off she had to call to get them fixed they wanted to charge her $3 a nail to fix... and couldn't fit her in for 2 days! Unbelievable. Her nails were done very poorly, uneven and just poorly painted... Never again. I reached out to the salon to let them know of my experience even sent photos of my nails and nothing... beautiful salon but I do not recommend them at all

Update on my review from my visit last week. I finally decided to give them a call yesterday and explain how unhappy I was with how my nails looked. The lady I talked to on the phone was extremely understanding and sympathetic. She asked me if I would be willing to come in and have them fixed. She told me that she would have another lady do them for me. So I agreed to go in this morning at 1130. I ended up being 10 mins late due to a detour, but she still took me in right away. After working on my nails and trying to repair them for 10-15 mins, she decided that the best thing to do was remove them completely and start fresh. Anyone who has had gel nails removed, know how hard it is and at times painful. Well it took her less the 5 mins to remove them all (that's how bad they were). Long story short, Tia put new gel nails on, painted them and even sat under the drier for 10 mins and it only took her 50 mins from start to finish where as last week, it took the other lady almost a hour and a half and she didn't have to file away at the fake nails to try and repair, nor did she have to remove any fake nails either as she had a clean slate to work with. I couldn't be happier with my nails today. They look amazing!!! If you are going to go get your nails done here, I highly recommend Tia!!! She's wonderful! Thanks again Tia for fixing my nails for me!!!! I rated a one star, but only because I had to rate at least that to post this review...it doesn't even deserve a one star. I will never ever return to this salon again! I have never in my life been so unhappy with my nails! The salon is beautiful, but the quality of their work is horrible! Before we started, (11:10) I let her know I have to be gone by 1230... So, she starts by glueing on my tips with enough glue to glue a hundred, then she starts sanding away my already thin natural nails after I asked her not to as they are so thin, after three time of me telling her she's burning me, she stops. Then she starts clumping on huge amounts of gel on my nails, again there was enough gel on one nail to do two if not more. I told her I don't like it thick and she just said...oh it looks so natural. She didn't even make sure it was all even or covering the whole nail down to the nail beds. It's now 12:15 and after again telling her I need to be out by 1230 she finally stops arguing with me on how long I like them. I like them short, she doesn't. So now she paints them...and then paints on the French, I asked her to make the line thicker as I like more then a 2 millimetre thick line, she wouldn't listen. I didn't have time to argue so let her do whatever she wanted. Then she had to paint on the thin pink line below the white...needless to say, not one of my nails are painted straight or even! I go and pay and they charge me way more then any other salon I went too. I wouldn't mind paying that if I was happy with my nails but they look like crap. I left without letting them dry as its now 1240 and I needed to be at an appointment for 1. I didn't care if they would get damaged because they were not dry as I was going to my normal salon to have them fixed!! My friend that I went with had a very similar experience with a different lady. We went together and yet they couldn't sit us so far from one another if they tried!!!! I will never ever return to this salon again!!!! Horrible horrible experience!!!!

I have never found the need to write a negative review, but after my awful experience here I had to write one. WARNING: If you are a minority of any sort please avoid going here, they treat you like garbage and speak to you so rudely. I came in to get my nails done and waited almost an hour when it was my turn the nail tech was hesitant to do my nails from the start and kept making snark remarks, questioning why I wanted my nails done. In 2018 you would think people would learn to be accepting of everyone. I definitely will not be going back there. Extremely disappointed.

I went to the nail bar yesterday to have my nails done, because I had my sisters wedding to go to, my oringinal nail salon was way to busy and couldn't take me for my appoiment so I thought I would try out the nail bar. The wait time was not bad at all, but my nails are terrible! There are bumps and black dots all stuck in the nail polish when I asked her if she would like re paint them she said she has no time, AND a hair in the nail polish showing on my nail! One of my nails is side ways and moved my finger and said it was straight. I paid 60$ and my nails are not even finished! Because she had another appointment! If you have no time to finish someone's nails, hire MORE PEOPLE ! I will never go back there again, no impressed

I went yesterday to get a fill. Second time I have been to this location. My first time was great. But yesterday was awful. I now have small cuts on 4 of my fingers from the technician filing on my skin instead of my nail. I will never go back.

HORRIBLE, I sat for 3 hrs with foils in my hair (wanting the ombre look) left feeling very unsatisfied. The colour of my hair looked no different! But it was because it all broke off and fell put from having bleach sit in it for 3 hours, they must have used 40 vol developer. She told me as she was drying it " your hair didnt even fall off or break" meanwhile as I was sitting with a toner on my mom picked up a chunk of my hair from the sink! Here is the best part, I went up to the front to pay , full head of foils advertised at 75$ and I paid 151 before a tip! Ridiculous ! 151$ to be left with no hair

Nail Bar has always been my go to nail salon. My usual are Gel Shellac Manicure and Shellac Pedicure. The owners and staff are always going above and beyond. I would recommend booking an appointment ahead of time as this is a well saught after salon. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! Thank you Tia for always taking care of me.

Very pleasant experience with my friends, atmosphere and services were amazing, would highly recommend this place and price was reasonable we all got shellac manicures for $30 each.

I used to be a regular at this place since they opened, and don't ever want to go back with the new owners. I always get dip done, and can have them last for almost 2 months if I push it. My nails currently are all different lengths, not the shape I asked for, and went right over my cuticles and looked nice for a day. A week later I had a few start lifting, and after 3 weeks my nails look horrible, and are all lifted. This used to be the go to place, but since ownership switched it is not good at all. Will not be going back which is very unfortunate.
