I went to go get my nail done at about 7 tonight and she did everything wrong. She cut my nails way to short and never asked me if it was what I wanted even tho I had told her before hand. After that she just did whatever she wanted, the acrylic wasn’t put on smooth or even so now my nails are wavy and the ends are very very thic witch I didn’t want. Lastly after telling her 3 times she had the wrong colour she still put the wrong one on and just tried to tell me it fine. The main reason I’m angry is because she did a half fast job and didn’t consult me about anything this is not what I asked for at all.

Awful, I have had better service and results from students in the esthetician program at College Boreal. One of the employees had a child running around that she was screaming at, I had requested rounded tips, got a slightly rounded French, and they didn't inform me that the student discount was discontinued when I had asked, only telling me when I was half finished. All in all a horrendous experience.

disappointed with todays visit, went in for a toe polish Change, was told if i got a full pedi it was 50% off today so me & my sister agreed sure! We went for the spa pedi, which was not as described, they only did 1 layer of polish and skipped other things. Went to pay and the total was clearly not 50% off when I mentioned this i got a major run around that we had to get a manicure added to get the discount?? We were not told this or I would have just stuck with the polish change!

Terrible. I was pushed into getting what I didnt want and my nails were poorly done. I went to a better nail salon afterwards to have them repaired even though I could've had it done at Sudbury Nails for free. Over priced as well for such a garbage experience.

The employee, CADEN was extremely rude. I told him I wasn’t aware of the price of the nail refill and he got up angrily and went to get the book all the while yelling that “THERE IS NO 25$ NAIL PRICE IN THE BOOK” Everyone all around started looking at me! He drew unnecessary attention to me and I agreed to pay the price of the nails! Then he got the debit machine in front of me and requested that I pay before I get up even before I can wash my hands and he SPECIFICALLY requested that I do so before I even get up! My nails were still under the heat! Everyone was staring at me ! He made me feel so belittled. And the messed up part is his coworker IVY is the nicest person EVER! She usually is my artist and I have never been treated badly by her ! I was just mostly angry at the fact that no matter how low my voice was, he kept raising his voice at me and that made me feel so bad ! Doing your nails should be a relaxing experience not a place for you to get yelled at by the person who is suppose to be the professor nail technician !

1. Rude service 2. Hectic experience 3. Poor/painful results 4. Over-charged I made an apt. to bring my sister to get her nails done for the first time. I mentionned in the call that the apt was for 2 people. When we got there, they brought my sister to one end of the half-full salon and myself to the other end. After asking my manicurist if we can be seated together, he told me that we can sit together next time I come and if that`s what I want, I have to make an apt and ask for it (which was done). The manicurist doing my sisters nails was incredibly rude and impatient with her. I explained to them that this was her first time getting her nails done and she isn`t familiar with the terms and products. After asking a 3rd person, they were able to move my sister to be beside me. Neither of the manicurists responded to our attempts at small talk. My sister`s even told her that she was a lot of work. I ended up with burns and scabs around my nailbed (at this point I wasn`t expecting to receive the best work). We were then charged additionally for having different colours and styles. The prices didn`t adhere to the price list previously referenced. I simply paid and left. If you`re looking for an enjoyable experience, I would look elsewhere.

After being upset I decided to go to the nail salon and spa to see what they could do for me and after seeing my nails they agreed to fix them for a great price. Tech Team

Tools are not sanatized and appear to be reused. Very unprofessional place becuase very few speak English and the work is poor quality. The place does not offer good ventilation and it's extremely hard to breath inside due to the toxic fumes and chemical smells. I disencourage anyone to go, just based on sanitary issues

I had heard nothing but great things from this place so I decided to check it out. I was not impressed. The girl took my hand and just started cutting down my nail before I had the chance to say anything. I’ve been trying to grow out my nails for months and she just cut them down to a stub and now they’re all uneven. Luckily I stopped her after the first nail she cut but now my nails look ridiculous. They need to listen to what people want before they start to ruin someone’s nails and try to pressure them into something they don’t want.

Do not go here especially if you are alone. The man doing my nails was very sweet and gentle however there was another working man gawking at me from a far seat that was extremely creepy. The man gawking at me slowly approached my seat and sat beside me still staring, I made no eye contact. They were speaking Chinese to each other appearing to be arguing. My nail guy started saying something in Chinese that sounded like "don't hurt her" I came home and google searched it and my nail guy was indeed saying to the other worker don't hurt her. Long story short do not go to this place I'm sure there are plenty of other good and safe salons in Sudbury.

Sitting here getting my toenails dried now... the place is disgusting, I should have walked out before I even got my nails done. The guy doing my pedicure cut my toenail wrong and gave me a hang nail. ALL THEY DO IS TALK TO EACH OTHER! Unpleasant experience.

We are from out of town and decided to try this place out and was not happy at all! the prices she showed us for nails were $50 and pedicures $40. we go to pay after having to get our nails fixed 2 times and she tells us our total is $300. for the two of us. she changes everything and tells us that nails are $75 not $50 and just adds a bunch of different stuff we didn’t ask for whatsoever. we expressed this to the lady and she told us that there’s nothing she can do! absolutely not happy with the price or quality of our nails.

They do an amazing job but you have to be clear on what you want because they'll over sell you. Once you're seated they'll ask you of you want *** whatever *** knowing that'll cost more and they'll insist it's better. Some staff are friendlier than other and lots of the staff have language barriors.

I have had many manicures and pedicures over the years, but I must say Paul did by far the best! I left there feeling like I had 2 brand new feet! I had acrylics done and they are spot on perfection! The staff are welcoming and professional, the shop was very clean!! Also the prices are very reasonable!!!

Very disappointing experience. Gentleman who gave me a pedicure was very aggressive about trying to get me to upgrade my pedicure. He did not cut and file my nails smoothly and was rough. I am new to Sudbury and would not recommend this Nail Salon. Staff all spoke Chinese and there was no welcoming feeling or good customer service experience. Would not recommend this salon at all

If I could give this place no stars I would. I took my friend to get her nails done. She asked for a full acrylic set (keep in mind she did not ask for a design or anything special). She got each ring finger with glitter nail polish. The price for a full acrylic powder set is $35 both on their website and in person. She realized her nails were slightly crooked, and not fully smoothed out, as she’s not a confrontational person she didn’t mention it. When she went up to the register to pay, they charged her $70. When i realized they were trying to charge her double the price I brought up that their prices for a full acrylic set were $35. The 2 guys began to give a bs excuse saying they used “powder solar gel” (which doesn’t exist) and how each glitter nail cost $5 each. The powder solar gel set was only $10 more so even if they did actually use it (which they didn’t) the price would have been $10 more expensive. On top of the scam that they try to pull on first time customers, the service is horrendous. The entire time one of the workers was sitting next to us playing a shooter game on full volume, not professional. at all. Bottom line, if you’re looking to get ripped off, and leave with less than mediocre nails, this place is for you. If you care to have decent nails and good service, I’d look elsewhere.

Got my nails done and really didnt like the colour so i called in and the manager told me to go back and get it changed he was very nice about it. He spoke with me and told me he would do it free of charge. I would recommend this place they do a fantastic job and they are very friendly.

I went in for a mani/pedi with a friend as I'd done on previous occasions. We were accustomed to having 2 ladies assist us; this time 2 young men took care of us. I am not one to complain but felt the need in this case. The one who did my pedicure was rough in his application and even nicked my toe. When I commented that I felt it and then saw blood he said nothing, placed my foot back in the water and resumed working on my other foot. A woman kept coming up to us raising her voice at him I believe because she could see my discomfort. He then applied shellac on my nails that chipped off in less than 2 weeks. I had shellac applied previously that lasted much longer as in a month or more. I returned today after having messaged my complaint and been told to come back in. I took the time out of my day to return with the understanding that I would have shellac reapplied. When I entered a group of employees gathered around me speaking loudly in their own language and an older man I assume to be the manager told me the shellac only lasts 10 days and that I would have to pay to have it reapplied. I will not be returning to this establishment as I was duped as well as made to feel very uncomfortable.

Spent 137.00n manicure and pedicure. Pedicure is still lovely, however after less than 7 days manicure started to peel off on both sides of nails on one hand. Went back to Sudbury Nails and explained the issue. Got rude comments and no explanation or offer of repair. However, they had no problem charging me over $10.00 for removal of the mess. Short of creating a scene, I got no satisfaction. Certainly will never go back, and never recommend this establishment. Deplorable treatment.

Last time I ever go here. They are so rude I went in to get my nails taken off and I had the employee start ripping my nails off with a fake nail tip. No grinding no filing no soaking. I could do a better job at home with out being in pain. He was hurting me and I had asked him to stop but he just kept going waving his hands in the air like I was being dramatic because I was pulling away from him. To this day my nail beds have been destroyed. My nails do not grow back evenly. I had told the manager of the store and she has insisted that I still pay full price even tho my nails were red and one had started to bleed. The experience has turned me off of fake nails all together. I will never ever step foot back in this place and warn everyone not to go here.

I thought this nail salon was really great until I went to get a shellac manicure. Instead of a shellac manicure, I ended up with "bio gel" despite telling the guy doing my nails that I only wanted shellac nail polish. I explained to him what I wanted, and he continued doing the bio gel. When he was finished, despite me telling him not to put on an acrylic nail and the bio gel polish, he offered me $10 off. My "bio gel" nails which I was supposed to get removed after "4 weeks" (wasn't planning on going back to this place) ended up peeling at the corners after a week and a half. Underneath this, my nails are now extremely damaged. Never going back.

The place is clean and pleasant and the people working there are typically nice. The staff needs to be retrained on how to do simple services, such as dip-nail manicures. I specifically asked for my current dip-nail manicure with tips to be removed, and a new set put on. To begin, the girl, who was nice enough, kept trying to convince me to go with gel manicure instead of the dip because it was "the same thing". I've had enough manicures to know what works for my nails and stood firm, asking her to please just give me a dip manicure. She proceeded to to take off my previous set of nails, and not put on a new set of tips, even after I reminded her. Then she brought out the dip nail products, and it was 3 different brands. If you've had a dip-nail manicure, you know it's a multi-step system with the powder, the solution between the layers of powder, and the top coat that turns it hard and glossy. I can only imagine that these steps were intended to be used together, and mixing and matching between brands is not advised for an ideal outcome. Everything she did was, by my experience, incorrect. The way she dipped my nail into the powder made it lumpy, so she tried to use her finger to pat it out flat, which further caused lumps on the surface. She insisted I put my fingers under the UV light between coats, which is something I've never had to do before with dip-powder, and is actually one of the main reasons I do it over gel. She didn't buff down the surface before putting on the top coat, so it remained lumpy and uneven. I wasn't at all impressed with the final result, but was there with family for a fun bonding experience and didn't want to hold up the rest of our plans for the day. Within a day, the top layer started peeling off, which I've never seen happen before with a properly done dip manicure, and the manicure starts chipping off within 3 days. When I walked into that salon, I was wearing a set of nails that I had had on for 5 weeks (and had had done elsewhere), and didn't have a single flaw besides being grown out. That's what a well-maintained dip-manicure should do. Not worth the 50$ I paid, and I certainly will not be returning.

Absolutely disgusted with the service here! Got my nails done, went to pay and their machine said transaction not approved but I got a text message from bank saying it had. I showed them my bank text and explained to the lady I needed to pick up my children from daycare by 4pm. She explained that I needed to wait until they phoned the bank. I asked if i could come back in 15 minutes to figure things out as I needed to get my children and the owner grabbed by wallet from me and locked the door so I could not leave. He continued to yell at me until I was in tears and all I wanted to do was get my kids and come back. Finally he let me pay with another card and let me go but fml...trapped in a nail salon...come on! Have some customer service skills!

While getting my pedicure done the tub overflowed and he was wiping the dirty floor with a towel and without changing his gloves kept touching my feet. He did this multiple times. They did not shape or clean the nails while doing the pedicure and it was the spa option. They were extremely unprofessional and when the wax and water were way too hot and I told them they failed to adjust It or acknowledge that I had any concerns. It was very rushed and they made it apparent hey were waiting for me to leave so they could get their tip and go on break. Go anywhere else. This place sucks.

Well after a few crummy experiences with this salon a year later I decided to go back as the hours fit my needs for today. I called over an hour in advance and booked an appointment for 11:00 am.. well I show up.. told to wait a few minutes.. 11:25 rolls around and a lady who came in with an 11:15 appt just walks in.. ok it’s alright my time means nothing.. I only made an appointment for a reason! Walked out and went into lavish nails down the street and got the best manicure and service I have ever gotten in Sudbury! Clearly they do not value customers or their time.

I went to this location on the day of a family funeral as I was from out of town. I had called the night before to inquire about the pricing. When I was there I noticed that it really smelled very strongly of chemicals and I’m not used to that in spas that I go to normally. Also when I was finished the young man who did my nails decided that he needed to charge me an extra five dollars because I had long nails! I refused to pay the arbitrary amount. Not very impressed!

I was a walk in, so I appreciated not needing an appointment. I asked for acrylic on my own nails. The nail tech kept saying I needed tips as they as stronger for French manicure. In the name of time saving I finally said fine. He cut my fingers 3 times while filing my cuticles. He told me when I was leaving I had solar gel nails not acrylic as they were better. I paid $64.00. His station was not clean. The towel he used on the table was not clean. He did not sterilize his tools/ files. And I talked with another nail tech, and apparently I do have acrylic nails, as gels are not a powder! Not impressed at all, and will definitely NOT return. Could not find anyone fluent in English to discuss these issues.

Very disappointed! First time getting acrylic nails there. It took an hour and half. Needed to be filled after 2 weeks. I went this morning, I have deep brush marks from the shellac brush. Nails are not all straight! I tipped each time but will not return! Only 2 people work in that big shop. One other is training by watching. The 5 star reviews on here, are paid reviews. The ladies gain points. Mostly from the United States. Just be aware, so many great shops to go too!

We made a reservation but sat in the waiting space for 15 minutes. The guy was rough with our fingers and harsh filing our nails and skin. The result didn’t look anything like the picture, and they were very hasty, messing up the nails in the process. Feeling rushed is not the experience you want to have. I’m kind of disappointed.

I never write reviews but my last experience here is my last ever. I have been going there for 3 years. The hours are great and maybe you can get someone who does a really good job on your nails. That being said, I've had my fingers cut, nails that are lopsided and not filed right. I had a cast on the last time I went and asked for a towel to cover it so I didn't get the dust from the filing in my cast. I was given a damp towel and the guy doing my nails didn't want me to use it as it was bothering him. He was rough and hurt my broken wrist a couple of times. He got up to go do something else 7 times. The place is getting dirtier and have noticed that nothing gets sterilized or cleaned.
