Never had anything done on my nails profesionally before, but my friend and I decided to try it out today and were not satisfied. None of the equipment or tools or files used on me today had been sanitized after other customers had used them. I could see the nail dust from other customers still on the files amd brushes. The girls also would not let my friend have the 15$ manicure even though she requested it several times, and instead they gave her a 30$ one. Her tools and equipment also was not clean. We are noth hoping we do not get a nail fungus from this. I do not recomend this place at all.

So I go to get my nails done in Simcoe at Nail Designs. I never go there anymore because of a few bad experiences but tonight TOPPED it off!! I had a gift certificate from Christmas I decided to use tonight. I go to sit down and the lady who was about to do my nails said “I thought you never come back here?” And I explained to her that I don’t usually come here anymore no, but I was in town and needed a fill. She said “you put a bad review on Facebook.” And I said “ya? Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, I had a bad experience here and I’m entitled to give you a review.” This lady went on a huge rant while I’m sitting in the chair, while other customers are looking at me, raising her voice at me, telling me “what are people going to think when you put up bad review on the Facebook!” I said “I’m going to leave.” I got up to go, she said “No, I’ll do your nails.” I walked to the desk where Tony (the owner) was and asked for my gift certificate back. He held it in his hand and spoke in another language to the girl who just ambushed me and wouldn’t give my gift certificate back. I showed him my hands and said “she didn’t touch my nails, please give me my gift certificate back.” He continued to look at the lady yelling in another language and then looked back at me and then finally gave me my gift certificate. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. I can’t believe that just happened to me...

Alot of bad reviews made me not wanna go. BUT a women I know frequents there often and raves about the place so I gave it a shot. I am so glad I did! By far the best nails I've had done. I've been to quite a few places and love the look of these nails. Service was fast but efficient with the end result being perfect. Would def recommend and will now be only getting my nails done there.

I Went there to get a manicure and pedicure, it was all going fine until I was sitting in my chair waiting for my nails to dry and noticed the younger guy who was doing my manicure start picking his nose. He then realized I saw him, I took my hands out of the dryer and was just going to pay and leave. I was so disgusted and he looked at me weird when I wouldn't let him touch me again to put the lotion on my hands. I just put my boots on, paid and will never return.

Walked in saw them empty out a pedicure chair of water and then just fill it back up for next client so i walked out Ladies please don't go here they do not clean properly. ???? reading some of the other reviews has me horrified

service wasn’t very good. they weren’t very nice and when my friend asked for them to change the shape they weren’t listening and they got mad when she asked him to fix it. they also weren’t sanitary and used the same files for everyone

Went there and got my nails done, theyre all uneven and not the shape I wanted. I had asked for stiletto point & they didn’t understand till I said “pointy” - which is ok bc im assuming its a language barrier All of their nail shapes are pre-cut to shape & they attempt to make your nails into what you want by that. This is the first red flag. I have small hands, so its hard to find the proper fitting one for my hand, so for it to be pre-cut and then further cut & filed down just made them look awful. Then I had two people working on my hands at once, so both of my hands are not the same. They also charge you more if you’re not from Simcoe. I got two colours & was charged 55$ Two ladies before me got 3 colours plus design for 45$???? The ladies nails were also dirty underneath and she was digging into my skin with her nail. They were polite though, so that was nice (:

Four seasons nails, Simcoe Ontario. I went and got my nails done for prom, and I explained that I wanted my accent nail totally silver, and he did not do so. Half my nails are crooked and one broke in a week. Another customer was coughing and obviously couldn't help it and the nail technician was giving her dirty looks. When he wanted me to wash my hands he couldn't speak enough English to tell me to do so, so he just pointed, and then got frustrated when I didn't understand. When I sat down the table was filthy, and they didn't sanitize anything. He did not cut down my real nails first like they are supposed to when they give acrylics. They are ignorant, unsanitary and don't speak good enough English to understand what you want. Would not recommend, nor would I go here again.

LADIES, DO NOT GO TO "DESIGN NAILS"/"NAILS DESIGN" (or as their Facebook page says, "Nail's Design"??) Please, just don't even risk it. I went there once several years ago and ended up with a fungus on one of my finger nails.Thank God that was treatable and cleared up quickly. They also tried to convince me that regular nail polish needed to be cured by a UV light? Their knowledge of the field seemed extremely inadequate and the male manager was incredibly rude. Anyways, Today, I discovered a Simcoe woman has contracted a FLESH-EATING BACTERIA from having been worked on at that salon. She was hospitalized, and there is a possibility of her thumb having to be AMPUTATED. I typically wouldn't make a post like this, but I'm incredibly disturbed that the salon is still open, and a lot of people I know go there or have gone there in the past.

I got my nails done for the first time a couple weeks ago and I was blown away by the service and quality. I was nervous at first because of the reviews but the staff went above and beyond my expectations. I went back for a fill yesterday and the staff were consistent with the treatment I received on my first visit. No complaints on my nails either, they look great and so far have not chipped between appointments. I highly recommend them and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in town.

New to the area and I didn’t have time to drive to Brantford for nails so i decided to give this place a shot in hopes of having a new go to nail place close by. The staff were friendly and actively cleaning which I give points for. I had a shellac manicure, the polish was cured onto my skin and nails which I assume means it’s not sealed and won’t last longer than two days. I paid for a manicure and received none of what would normally be included.. cuticle removal and massage.

Oh my goodness. This place and the staff are absolutely horrible. My friend went there and they drilled her nail beds so bad they made cuts in it and her nails are red and paper thin. The staff want you to hurry hurry " you need to pick your colour. You need to pick your colour " Constantly rushing you because time is money. They could care less about their clients being happy. They just want to get as many people in and out as possible. Appalling how rude they are. I was shocked.

When I went in I’d forgot my mask so I asked for one. Thank you While I was getting my nails done a young girl working there kept coming and watching, her mask was around her chin. Then I asked if she should be wearing it properly she did then she preceded to call me a “bit..” in Her language and so did the guy doing my nails. The word “bit..”. Sounds the same in any language! Very unhappy. Will NEVER go back. It’s my understanding that the rules apply to everyone in that industry not just the one’s that want to follow it!

Really impressed with this place. Dropped by to have a horrendous set of acrylics done by another salon fixed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Ken took so much care making sure the new set looked perfect and I'm so pleased with how well they turned out. Not a smudge or bump in sight and the price was very reasonable. Really happy and I'll definitely go back!

I have been going to this salon for half a year now, just a manicure, but yesterday I did Mani and Pedi, now I have three dry spots on my one foot I get every winter, it's called psoriasis. The young man doing my service didn't even ask, he made me feel uncomfortable, talking in his language, getting all other estheticians to walk past and look, again no one asked me, then he rushed my feet , now there were three other people doing and pedicure, and when they were done , the foot bath was cleaned with a bottle spray, when I was done, they opened a new bottle of bleach to wash out foot bath, wow, and not to mention my bill was then we'll over $100 for a Mani and Pedi , one color! I will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
