I have had a membership here for over 13 years. They are extremely consistent and always provide slippers, a robe, super-soft and large towel, and tea upon arrival. It looks small but there are actually showers, a steam room, sauna, and lounge area. It is peaceful and relaxing. Some of the estheticians do not speak English well but they still make a great effort to keep you comfortable. The products are all natural with emphasis on essential oils. The herbal facial (1.5 hours) and the half hour body massage are my mains although I have delved in other treatments here and there. I have tried many other spas including the Elmwood, Uptown, several other Asian spas, and many more, but have found that nowhere else has the consistency and quality of massage as this place.

This place is great. It is clean and professional. All the products used within the spa, from the aromatherapy to the soaps in the showers, are of high quality. This place is definitely for someone looking for a nice place to relax without the hustle and bustle of big spas. Has a nice boutique feel.

This spa is a hidden gem in Scarborough!The staff were friendly, the spa was clean and relaxing and the steam room and sauna were great. They offer a variety of services and their signature oils, creams and shampoos were made of natural oils and smelled great. I will be going back again!

Highly impressed by this spa. Starting off with booking the appointment, the receptionist over the phone was friendly, informative and patient with my indecisiveness as I couldn't make up my mind what time I wanted to book. She made a great suggestion of how I should book my appointment as my mom was going for a massage and I was going in for a facial. She didn't book it at the same time because she said after a facial you can't go into the sauna (which I didn't know!). She also told me everything I need to bring and how to prepare myself. At the appointment, they were so patient even though we were running late. They didn't rush us and still gave us our full time for the appointment and time in the sauna and steam room. During my facial, Fiona was informative, told me at each step what was happening and also made me feel relaxed (I'm usually quite tense!). She also gave me suggestions for helping the breakouts on my face, and also told me how I can increase circulation becasue my feet are always cold. The massage during the facial was also so good! The pressure was really firm but not painful. They also provide you with herbal tea, cookies and apples and really soft towel and robe. The lotion, shampoo, conditioner etc, is also all natural so it makes the experience that much better! I also don't speak very much Mandarin (the spa is mainly Mandarin/Cantonese speaking), they made the effort to speak English to me and had written materials in English for me as I can't read Chinese. Very amazing experience and much needed time to relax. Thank you so much for giving me a refreshing experience!

I've never been to a spa before and wasn't sure what to expect but the staff here made everything easy and were knowledgeable when answering questions. Everyone is very welcoming, kind, hospitable and very talented. Clean facilities and the facial was amazing! Service was great! Definitely coming back!

HORRIBLE customer service!!!! I have a $100 gift certificate and it expired less than 3 months of the purchase date. I called them 4 days after the expiry to book an appointment, and they would not take me. I spoke to their director Joyce Su (hoping she would be reasonable), and she replied by telling me I should have called last week, and said, "sorry, not my problem." Naturally, I was upset, she then pretended she didn't speak English. Enjoy my $100 for NO service you crooks !!!!

Visited Orient Retreat Spa for facial and enjoyed my experience! Staffs are professional and friendly. The environment of the spa is very welcoming and relaxing. It has sauna, steam room and a lounge for herbal tea and snacks. A great way to spend a relaxing afternoon!
