I am not too sure why this place has such great reviews....maybe it was just the person that'did my nails. I came in with my wedding party back in October....we had an appointment which I soon realized is a waste of time because you're still going to wait as if you were a walk in. The guy who did my nails seemed to have better things to do. I asked for a French manicure...which I got but my thumb nails were put on crooked and extra gel had to be used to make my nail wider because he used tips that were bigger than my natural nail. I also had a thick layer of gel underneath the tip that got caught on everything....normally that is filed down. All in all I was really disappointed and wished I went somewhere else. I definitely won't go back.

I LOVE this place! I have been to every place in this city and have never gotten better nails than I do here! Natalie is definitely a pro at her craft. She has such amazing talent and a wonderful personality to top it off. I couldn't ask for better.

I went in to get a set of acrylics done. They looked fantastic at first, but within a week they started to chip. I was also told that refills would cost $20 while I was in the store. When I inquired online, I was then told it would be $40 for a fill. Really disappointed in this place; I’ve only ever heard good things and wanted to like them so much.

I used to love Soie and it was the only salon I'd go to, but the service has gone way down hill. My friend and I were quoted $95 each for a set of acrylics and a basic pedicure, but ended up being charged $240 total. The woman who did my nails didn't even wait until my pedicure was done, which was awkward and uncomfortable. The wrong size acrylic was put on nearly every nail, and I can see my natural nail on each side. The nails have huge globs of solid acrylic on the underside, which I asked the girl to file away, but she said that it would wash off. Each nail is a different shape and thickness, and so lumpy. I used to go once a month, but will never be going back.

Gentleman was on his phone the entire time.. even made a FaceTime. Therefore was hardly paying any attention to what he was doing. My polish didn't have enough coats done because you can see through spots .. every single last nail is a different shape and style. Most costly set of nails I've ever had to pay for. Will never go back. Will post pictures if available on this review

Things changed when new owners came in and everyone switched... Natalie was great till she left then I went to another girl and it wasn’t the same.., I hear good and bad things now... since COVID. I haven’t been back and do my own nails at home...Love this place! Never an issue and beautiful nails! Been going here for 2 years Update October 2019..still go to soie! Love it always keeping my claws sharp n fabulous

Hands down the best nail salon in sault ste marie. I always receive a ton of compliments on my nails. I refuse to go anywhere else as no other salon even compares. I see Natalie and she is extremely skilled & talented. She always takes her time & NEVER rushes. She always makes sure everything is perfect. Every time I leave my appointment I am blown away at how amazing my nails look. You wont find this kind of skill level anywhere else in sault ste marie. A very clean, friendly and inviting spa.
