I was in the Stonebridge location Saturday Nov 7. This was one of the worst massages I have ever experienced. I booked a hot stone and actually told her to quit using them on me as she practically burned me with the first stones. The table was super uncomfortable and hard, the therapist wore a hoodie because she was cold as was the room…as was this client. The technique of the therapist was not relaxing or pleasant at all. I have had massages for 25 years all over Canada and other countries and this was right up there with the feeling I was being punked it was so bad. Reception was pleasant - you get the star.

I had a massage on Sunday, October 11. A day before I made a phone call to book an appointment and asked if they can direct billing to my insurance as I would have a massage with an RMT. The lady who booked an appointment for me said they can do direct billing and she even asked what insurance I have. Again she ensured me it can. She asked my CC detail to book the appointment which I gave. I came at 11 which was my appointment. I didn't realize I have to fill up some forms. That was about 5-10 minutes. It was only Roger, the RMT there and he was good. But turned out, my massage was not exactly 1 hour as I wanted to because the minutes I should have the massage was used to fill up the forms. At the time when I was about paying the portion that I need to pay, Roger said I can't do direct billing there. He said it can't be done from the one in Stonebridge. I was a little bit upset because the reason I go there so that i don't have to deal with paperwork afterward with the insurance and it seems there's no consistent communication between staffs.

I had a massage a couple days ago, Roger the RMT was good! However, I had either an allergic reaction to the oil or the hygiene of the sheets/oil wasn’t good because a few days later my back BROKE OUT. And I have NEVER had back acne like this, this is not my norm. The little pimples/bumps appeared only in the area that was worked, my back and arms. They are itchy and red. I hope they look into this.

Highly Disappointing and a waste of money. My two friends and I booked pedicures together as a "Mama's Morning Out", we were so looking forward to a pampered kid free morning but were highly disappointed. We had selected the "footlogix spa pedicure" because myself and one of my other friends were both 8 months pregnant and turned 30 during covid so all we wanted was a relaxing foot/leg message.... it was more like a 2 minute foot rub, the "relaxing soak" and was nonexistent, and the seaweed exfoliating scrub... well I guess you can say they put it on. It was a very expensive morning for basic foot care, and at that it wasn't even a very well done either. I also don't understand why they made us fill out forms before our treatment if they weren't going to use them. We had all expected to be able to chat and visit with eachother during treatment so we selected quite for conversation type with our estheticians. However we weren't able to really chat with eachother at all because of how chatty the estheticians were with eachother. We called and spoke to the manager which wasn't helpful at all. All they offered was for the one who had a really poorly done pedicure to come back that same day to have it fixed... well even if she wanted to have it fixed she wouldn't been able to since we all had prearranged childcare specifically for that morning. So much for a relaxing "Mama's Morning Out" I also wouldn't recommend the Stonebridge location as one of the estheticians said that they all go between locations.

Edit: They will "say" they follow all these guidelines and rules, but that's b.s. Owned by a complete snake! Beware of the utter cheapness of this place. They don't wash all of their bedding all of the time, they don't use medical grade quality detergent, tools and pedi stations are barely cleaned and they use a quick spray of cleaner to clean the chair and foot bath. Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL spa, would not recommend wasting your time and money and HEALTH on this place.

If i could give this place a zero star rating i would. Worst massage I've ever had. Pretty sure she was drunk or playing on her phone i am not sure. Wouldn't ever go back. And computer was "down" once again.

Booking online is so so convenient! It has a free parking too. Finding a spot is not a problem!!! I have been seeing Serena ( Massage Therapist ) since last year from another place and lost connection. But I was able to find her back at Damara! She was able to address all my concerns from last year. Then got lost with other therapists...but my body is really looking for "Serena's touch"! Thank God I was able to get back under her care! She is your best pick at Damara Stonebridge! Overall, the spa is a great place to relax. The ambiance is so relaxing. I want to say that its a one stop shop because thet literally have everything...your wellness from head to toe. I am just impressed with all of the services they offer... Their website is pretty straight forward, just choose the Home Suites Inn location at Stonebridge! I did not received any compensation for this review. Just one happy customer who found her ideal Massage Therapist at Damara! :)

The staffs were very friendly and professional. I had a Relaxation massage with the Sanjana, it was divine and I highly recommend her. The place itself is very neat, clean and peaceful atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I booked to have facials and massages done this past weekend. We arrived 15 minutes early and got a phone call saying that the ladies that were to do our facials were running late. We waited for 5-10 minutes after our appointment time when they finally showed up. When we got inside we were rushed to do paper work and they couldn’t even provide us with 2 pens so we had to share a pen which took longer. Finally, the one lady just said to sign and date without finishing our forms. They rushed through our facials which didn’t make the experience enjoyable. Then the RMT’s showed up for our massages and the one RMT didn’t even concentrate on the areas that my boyfriend suffers from which is his back, neck, and shoulders. He left feeling more stiff than he was before we came for our appointment. Then when we went to direct bill all of the sudden the “system was down” and then she “forgot her password” to log in, so we ended up having to pay up front and submit later. Then the receipt she gave us wasn’t even sufficient enough to take to our insurance, so I had to call back and get proper receipts. The whole experience was unorganized, unprofessional, and unsatisfying. We will not be booking there again.

I could not make an appointment and called days prior to cancel. Left a message on their machine assuming all was taken care of. A confirmation of appointment call was made to me in which I stated I cancelled and left a message. In reply she stated there was no message left by me. I was charged on my credit card the full amount of the service which I cancelled. Be very careful when cancelling and leaving a message, as this is very poor on their behalf!! Their word against MINE.
