Toilet paper was used from the previous people who stayed in our room. Found out at 11pm that our shower didn’t work, so we went down to the lobby and switched rooms. The second rooms A/C unit didn’t work and we was given a fan which was only good to blow the already hot air around our room. Our friends room had crumbs in the chair and stains all over their bedsheets. Our friends was charged different prices for the same kind of room and when this was questioned the guy up front tip toed around as to why this may be. Was given a 10% discount for the inconvenience with the rooms, that just didn’t seem like enough.
Love the rooms but beware of the pool and hot tub. The last 3 times I've been there with my boys, either they had no hot water, the pool was closed or the pump for the water slide was down. Maybe it's just bad luck. Call ahead.
They failed to disclose that the pool was closed for maintenance until after we checked in. only reason for selecting this location was for the pool. We had to pay to swim at someplace else and stay at this hotel because they would not give us a refund
Great place to stay with the family - could use some extra staff overnight to ensure that requests can be responded to and towels can be laundered for the pool.
Good hotel. Was there 2 nights ago and and have stayed here many times without issue. This last time though the water pressure was extremely poor, showerhead was all loose in the wall and shower doors were flimsy and closed hard. But more than likely isolated to that room. Parking is a little tight if you have a large vehicle or towing a trailer.
We checked in a room and there was no hair dryer in it, and they switched our room to another one after requested and that one has no ironing board in it. And the lady at reception was not happy with our requests, very poor hotel management and service. Not impressed by what I experienced at all.
Pros 1. good hampton breakfast 2. free parking Cons 1. bathroom and room sink takes over 10 min to drain.... 2. swimming pool was closed for painting for 1 month !!!! without any warning during our stay 3. no tea or coffee in the evening. even had to ask for hot water to make tea in the room overall - very unusual from other hamptons we stayed in last 10 years. 4. poor bathroom cleaning Overall there is room for improvement and if it says hampton inn - it needs to be on par with other hampton inns. overall feeling - nobody really cares what's happening in this hotel.
Its a nice, clean Hotel and fairly new. Staff is friendly and helpful. Two negatives during my last two stays: Frist one was when we went to stay with our kids and we selected the Hotel because of the pool with Water Slide. When we got there the pool was down for maintenance during peak season. Second time the the breakfast room was under maintenance and the replacement breakfast was substandard. Any kind of dishes and cutlery was disposable paper or plastic. Not very ecological! Other than that a great hotel.
Hotel seems tired and needs some upkeep and tlc. have stayed there before but not going back.
The bed was hard, the pillows were flat. Could hear everything the upstairs people were doing. Bathroom is pretty at first glance but shower had mold and mildew in all corners. And we had garbage under our bed. Will not stay there ever again.
Great place, friendly staff. Was on the front side of the building on the first floor so we had one of the big flood lights pointing in our window. Even with the blinds closed it was still brighter than I liked. Pool was pretty cold for being indoors. Overall not a bad stay.
Checked in on August 16th as a stop from our east cost trip vacation which was fantastic up to this point. We wanted to to use the pool And hot tub, as we walked in the pool area the air was filled with chlorine where everyone in the pool and hot tub were coughing and eyes were burning but still figured that a hotel would not have an unsafe environment so still went in the hot tub. Within 30 seconds realized this was not right so told the hotel staff, was told by them that they have had many complaints from people but could not get a hold of anybody to fix the problem. Ask to talk to the manager they could not get a hold of the manager as well. Call left message no response from anyone. Horrible experience both my children throwing up all night headache and coughing. Not a good experience. No service at all.

Unless you want to party until 4am, this is not the hotel for you! We stayed at this hotel this past weekend with our 2 young kids to be woken up starting shortly after 10:30pm to very loud music and people hollering and slamming doors and there were a group of at least a dozen coming and going back and forth between their rooms and even partying in the hallway. We made 4 calls down to the front desk between the hours of midnight and 4am. And eventually calling the police ourselves at 4am when a full out fight started just outside our door. At one point, beer was even poured under our door into our room. On our third call we even asked to switch to a different room but the guy at the front desk assured us he would deal with it. When we first arrived, our toilet wasn’t working but my husband managed to fix it. When we pulled out the pullout sofa, there was popcorn and cheerios and a sheet balled up without any actual blankets. We requested to have new sheets and the cleaning lady was lovely bringing us extra sheets and blankets. We were willing to overlook this part as it was minor. The next morning, the lady at the front desk offered to refund us our early check in fee of $25 but said we would have to speak with the manager for anything else. My husband called the manager this morning and was offered a DISCOUNT on our next stay...we won’t be staying there anytime soon. He also said that the guy at the desk unfortunately didn’t know how to handle the situation properly. I get it was unfortunate that we got caught in the middle of their party...not the hotels fault. But not having a staff member trained to handle a situation is certainly the hotels fault. So much for their “100% satisfaction guarantee”!?
I'm actually surprised by what I found .. honestly I had read a lot of negative comments regarding this hotel especially cleaning point but it's really the opposite..the rooms are spotless shower is perfectly working and clean the gentleman at the front desk working night shift his really nice and very helpful I had requested him to give me a good room he didn't hesitate.. regardless my kids enjoying it and I highly recommend it
The hotel itself was good staff was friendly bed was comfortable breakfast was great waterslide and hot tub were a hit...our room did have a few issues nothing major just a few things that maintenance should look into bathroom door not closing, lights burned out, main bedroom door closing mechanism not working properly
I booked my daughter in her via my Hilton App after another hotel would not let her check into her prepaid room, because she was only 18!! The staff at the Hampton went out of their way to make sure she got in and got settled without hassle. Great Job guy thanks
My stay at Hampton inn & suites was amazing!!! The staff were so very accommodating. The room was perfect for all my requests. I just hosted a 16th birthday party, With 6 teens overnight.... I certainly picked the perfect location. I will definitely be staying within the Hilton group from now on.
I travelled to Sing John for my sons COVID Birthday. I came here with 3 children. When I booked the room via phone the woman told me that the King room with the pullout couch would be a comfortable stay for all of us. As I am laying here at 3:00am I can assure you she was wrong. This is far from comfortable. My body can feel every spring. If you were thinking of using the pullout couch as a sleeping option I would strongly recommend finding another option. Hampton Inn it may be time to purchase new mattresses. Sincerely, an already exhausted mother.
First impressions of the hotel are nice. The lobby is pleasant and looks updated. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. Hotel comes with buffet style breakfast with standard fixings (cereal, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee). I found the coffee to be very very weak however, but that's my personal preference. The rooms at first glance looked clean and smelled fresh. However as we used it more we noticed the air flow is inadequate and it gets quite musky inside and cannot open window to vent. Accompanying this observation, the shower curtain at the bottom was moldy, which was unfortunate. I think cleaning company that Hampton hires needs a reconsidering. The pool slide was fun and quite fast, the kids enjoyed it. It is very hot inside the pool area though. Again, the staff are all very nice. My main complaint would be the lack of attention on the cleanliness of the rooms. No one wants to shower with visible mould in the bathtub.
Avoid this place. Asked twice for face clothes for 3 people. Given 1. Ice machines broken. Asked for garbage pickup after 2 day stay. They came and picked up 1 bag and left 3. Was told we would have a room with2 queen and pullout bed. Given king and pull out. No sheets or blankets. Very poor customer service. Not worth the money. Pick another hotel. Very disappointed
There are COVID restrictions as expected. There were 6 family on the floor we were on and everyone was next to one another while the rest of the hotel was practically empty. It's understandable but the walls are thin and we could hear next door TV all night. We could use the pool but only once and for a maximum of 30 minutes. The fan in our room was not working, the power to it was turned off from the breaker. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
Loud!! So very loud, can hear all rooms around me so no matter what time I went to bed the noise wakes you at 7am. Room next door had tv blasting. Room not cleaned or sheets changed, had to sleep my 2nd night in my sweaty sheets from the night before. Disgusting. Very disappointed.
