So far the stay was very good, we rented 2 rooms and they made sure was side by side... Being attached to Saint John Market Square kinda makes it convenient and not at the same time... You get to travel through the city without going outside, but constraint to the mall hours. They shut off all elevators and lock all the doors... So if you go out, bring a coat or you'll get locked out... Overall still a great service. 4/5 stars

Stayed at this hotel when our flight was delayed due to a snowstorm. They have a nice pool and a huge hot tub. Water was showing signs of mush use since it was march break (a bit cloudy). The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have is that a few hockey teams were staying on the same floor and they were partying in the halls. At 10:00pm the kids were playing hockey in the halls (with nets and all). I had to call twice before anything was done. I later found out that a person from another room had complained twice during the same time frame. So, it took 4 complaints before anything was done.

Really nice hotel. I stayed here with a group and everyone enjoyed their stay and got a good rest. Beds were perfect. Super clean and comfortable. Top quality hotel. Attached to a mall food court so makes for an easy quick meal if you’re on the go. Close to everything downtown within walking distance. Very nice hotel, comfortable and I enjoyed that you need a card to be able to use the elevator to access the floors with the rooms. Hotel itself is fine, the staff is friendly, the location is fantastic, the reason for "meh" review is out of their control but worth mentioning as it will impact your stay: If you have an interior room you will have a view of the seagull colony that has set up camp there. Lots of bird poop on the windows, and the seagulls are obnoxiously loud at all hours. We had trouble sleeping.

Regarding the hotel, a correct room, try to ask for a room on the street side or facing the port and not facing the other rooms (inner courtyard). At the pool level, washing machine, during a good swim. A bathroom, nothing extraordinary and a towel inadvertently left on the shower curtain rod, you are not taken into account! Staff attentive and listening who do not hesitate to help if questioning.

Everything we needed! The only thing missing was the spa tub by the pool, which was under repair.

Where to start, the front desk gave valet parking as my truck was a rental. Suggested me to purchase the breakfast at 6.00 which saved me 10.00 each time. I am here for 4 days and have to leave tomorrow. They have been amazing and the restaurant is the best service I have had ever. Stayed only one night. Accidentally left a large facial brush in the shower in the bathroom. Called the hotel, and they said it was not there. This leaves two possibilities. One, they do not actually clean the bathrooms because this is pretty large. Two, the staff is untrustworthy. Either way, I'm out a $200 faciel brush. Thanks Marriott for leaving a loyal member feeling like my hotel of choice now hires thieves, liars, or staff that do not do what they were hired to do. Either way, this has left a lasting impression.

my overnight stay at the Saint John Marriott was perfect. Quick friendly check-in. Spacious room, clean and quiet. The hotel is interconnected with the Brunswick Mall so you don't have to go outside. Rockys Sport Bar was perfect for me. An easy no fuss no muss overnight stay was exactly what I was looking for and got.

Hotel is nice enough but they need a decent menu to offer at least basic good food options. A bowl of chowder in this maritime city would be a basic.

Came all the way from calgary, to visit the east coast. We stayed at the delta for two weeks. Saint john is a beautiful city. The hotel was wonderful. Loved that they had a laundry room. The restaurant was good although we only had breakfast there, but by the end of the first week they knew what we wanted. It was nice that breakfast was until 11:00 am, so we didn't have to get up too early on our vacation. The cleaning staff were friendly as we always got a good morning or have a nice day. We had a view of the Harbour which was wonderful. It was noisy but not the hotels problem, just other guests slamming doors. Only had room service once, the cheesecake was delicious. If we were to go back to Saint john we would definitely stay at the delta, it is so convenient to walk around uptown and catch a bus.

My husband and I went to the Delta for our 35th wedding anniversary. We had booked a king room. They upgraded us to a beautiful king suite. We received excellent customer service!! Stayed at Delta two days. No-one offered to assist me with my luggage no biggie just found little unusual. Checked into my room was good and clean. Once entering washroom there was all kinds of dirt in the tub. As I opened the water more of the same dirt was flushing out. Called Front desk they advised me it was the pipes and said they can switch the room for me tomorrow . Another rare thing to offer following day. Next day they called me told me room was ready. The bellboy which I think he was brought my new keys but Once again would not offer to assist me with suitcase bags etc. I don't expect a service rendered for me not too tip but at least offer. Little disappointed in the way they dealt with the whole situation. Things happen understandable but customer service could of been little more assertive.

We LOVE the Delta Saint John. All staff treat their guests like family. We stayed with them last November and December while our son was in the hospital and they were incredible to us. Kind, compassionate and made our stay so comfortable. We’ve been back twice since and we have received the same great, friendly service. I will never stay anywhere else in Saint John. My wife and I stayed here for a few nights after our wedding until we went on our honeymoon. The room could use a bit of a facelift but staff were incredible and friendly, service was amazing and room service was great! The staff certainly made the experience. It’s in a great location and close to anything you could want while staying there.

Nice room. Jets on hot tub didn't work. Pool area was hot and the air coming through heat vents smelt like natural gas. As a gas fitter I would suggest you have your heating equipment serviced before you go boom!

I have now stayed here for 2 summers in a row for work. Each stay was over 2 weeks long and I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The staff are incredible, the location is perfect and the rooms are always clean and spacious. Big shout out to both Michelle and Tammy who work at the front desk. They are both incredibly kind and hospitable beyond belief! Thank you for making the stay so enjoyable!

We had a wonderful stay at this place. Jenna at the front desk checked us in and was super helpful. We enjoyed the fact that it's connected to the square and highly recommend a room with a view of the harbor. There's also a very cute cafe just outside the lobby called Pistachio Cafe that's delicious! I will definitely be booking with the Delta again next time I'm in town :)

We just want to start this review by saying this hotel was HORRIBLE. The manager, Tiffani, for the day when we checked out was completely and utterly unhelpful and unprofessional. Instead of helping us by professionally explaining to us the situation, she chose to hide in her office and not answer our questions. Instead, she asked another person to deal with us. We asked for a print out of the policy that she was accusing us of and she said that we should just read it on their website. Who says that to a customer?! She then threatened to call security when we, as customers, wanted to understand why we were getting charged a high amount of money for something we didn’t do. A few minutes later another attendant printed out the policy with no fuss although they still couldn’t justify the amount as it is not written on their policy. As a manager, Tiffani didn’t handle our situation professionally. She was avoiding our questions and was condescending when talking to us. She saw that we were getting upset yet she chose to get us more upset by not answering our questions and completely avoiding us. She couldn’t even find the amount that she’s charging us in their policy. No receipt was provided to us until we asked for it. This hotel is such a ripoff. We stayed at an inn prior to staying at the hotel and that small inn was more accommodating, professional, and had more benefits. Not to mention the parking in this hotel!!! Valet for 25$?! If we don’t choose valet, they charge 15$ for a parking lot that is out of the way. This hotel will charge you in any way possible! It is unbelievable. We came to Saint John hoping to have a great time but our experience at this hotel ruined it. To whoever is the senior management in charge of this hotel, TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON HOW TO BE PROFESSIONAL!!! They carry the name of the hotel yet their service to their customers are nothing but a spit on our faces. Such a disgrace that you call your hotel a 4 star hotel! At most this place is a 2. There are much better inns that are rated a 2 star but really they are 5 star inns. Shame on you and shame on your management team for hiring an incompetent person such as Tiffani. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Your pockets will be emptied by the end of your stay here! We do not want or accept any of your apologies. Just returned from an amazing weekend at the Delta SJ! Check in was a breeze and Carla was terrific. The room was spacious and clean. You can't beat the location and I cannot wait to go back :)
