I have been visiting this salon for over two years. The experience is always positive and the quality of services very consistent. James, the owner of the salon, and all staff are very polite, respectful and eager to accommodate. The salon is impeccably clean, cleanliness being one of their top priority. I have been recommending the salon to friends and family members and every single one of them became a regular. I am highly and confidently recommending this salon to anyone who wants to experience superior quality and impeccable customer services.

I went in as a walk in, and James was able to fit me into his schedule immediately. Clients were coming and going and all were taken care of quickly. His work was efficient, the salon clean, and the colour selection excellent. Very pleased with my shellac and will definitely be going back. :)

I went to get shellac. Three of my nails peeled within an hour of leaving, and another two the next day. They did redo them, but again they peeled off within days. They were all bubbled and thick. Will not return.

I go here every other week and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I see the staff take great care in cleaning the equipment when they are done and have never had any concerns or problems regarding sanitation. I would and do recommend Martindale Nails Spa to everyone I know. The price is also very reasonable.

Hands down (pun intended) the only place I trust with my manicure and pedicure needs. All of the staff are extremely friendly, gentle, courteous and a pleasure to be around. I've never left unsatisfied and I am very picky with what I expect. Call to book ahead as they are generally booked up but that's completely understandable since the service and outcomes are awesome. Won't go anywhere else.

Exceptional, thorough and very friendly service, along with an amazing number of shellac colours to choose from. I will most definitely go back!

My favourite place in town to get my nails done. I don't go often but anytime I need or want my nails done this is the first and only place I think of. Well trained staff that are very nice and friendly. A great colour selection. Good massage chairs for pedicures.

Worst nails done ever. I was recommend the gel nails because my nail beds are "small", got them done on a Saturday and by Monday I had a nail oak off, went back and they fixed it but then by Thursday another fell off. I was so upset that in less than a week I had to go back twice and I was stressed due to the loss of my dad. I would never go back. Oh and it was expensive

This place is amazing! I have been going here every month for over 2 years now, and never will I go anywhere else to get my nails done. The salon is always spotless, and I watch as they clean every tool they use consistently, always opening a new package of nail file kits. Every employee I have interacted with has treated me with kindness and respect, and I can't say enough about James. James is the one who always does my nails, and through his caring personality, we have created a lovely friendship. Never have I seen him treat someone poorly or not go out of his way to accomodate a clients requests. I will never stop recommending this place to everyone who asks me where I have gotten my nails done, and it happens daily.

This is my thirst visit to this spa. I love the way they do everything so clean, file and buffer are sterilized that I never got before from other salons (for over 15 years having my nails done). I got my nails done by David last time and they last amazing, over 3 weeks until now. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

I've had my nails done at many places at it never lasts for more than a couple of days (even with shellac). I came here with a group of friends before my wedding and we not only had a great time but my nails have now lasted for over a week with no sign of chipping or peeling. I will definitely be back in the future!

Small mix up left me waiting 15 minutes for my appointment. Was offered a free manicure, when I passed that up (I work with my hands), I was upgraded to spa pedicure. Very professional, clean, quiet, polite. Did a great job. Wonderful experience.

Always such an amazing job done...I love this place!! The owner James is always so pleasant to talk to and the ladies that work there are phenomenal...I get a shellac manicure and it lasts 3-4 weeks, I have had a variety of designs done and never dissapointed! Highly recommend ????????????????????make an appointment as they are always very busy

I would like to start off by saying that I recently moved to the area and that this was my fifth time visiting Martindale Nail Spa. Up until today I thought the place did a lovely job with nails and customer service. Today was a whole different experience. The shellac application was uneven rather than smooth and on some nails the shellac doesn’t go all the way to the base of my nails. When I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with the way my nails were looking, he (not James, another man) offered to touch them up; he filed my nails and applied another layer of shellac making them look even worse. The overall job looks sloppy and feels super lumpy when I run my fingers over my nails. I was there 2 hours as he kept trying to salvage the hack job. I expressed at the end of the service that I was still not pleased with my nails appearance and nothing was done other than the utterance of an awkward 'sorry'! Sorry, I won't be returning.

I uploaded a before and after picture to prove how horrible this place is. I asked for UV gels, round with white nail polish. She told me not to worry, that i could trust her. Man, do i regret it. 55 dollars later, i am left with disgusting, uneven ugly nails with lumps all over them. She didnt even smoothe out the polish. They looked so horrible, i was in disbelief. How could anyone working in that profession think they looked even remotely ok? I was embarassed to even show anyone. Luckily, i went the next day after work to get them properly fixed. I wont say where because this review isnt about them. But thank god for the woman who fixed my nails. Martindale ia overpriced and it was a rush job. Dont take on more clients than you can handle. If you know you need more time to do a good job, then book appointments accordingly. I will not be returning and the people who saw my nails definitely wont be going either.

Avoid this place at all costs people. I got an infection after going here because of inappropriate sanitation. When I went back to confront the owner he was so rude- like if you want an infection and long term problems with nail fungus go here, if not avoid at all costs. This man working there "James" is so rude only caters to a specific "skinny/rich looking" crowd and Should be more concerned with cleanliness of personal care tools used. I have notified Niagara regional health board to have an investigation done on this place-ugh.

I have been going here for 2 years and never once did I get a rude person or have a bad experience. James is my nail guy! And I go every 3 weeks . If there was ever an issue I know James would accommodate and make sure I and his customers leave happy!!!! And I have seen his health inspection report and it's amazing!! And nothing bad on it!!!! If you have a concern with cleanliness contact the Niagara region public health and check for yourself!

I do not recommend the waxing. There was no attention to detail, no plucking, only waxing and the shape was awful. No pre or post creams used. She ripped my skin on my bows and has caused scabs on my lids and nose.

Excellent service at high standards!! Always a pleasure to get in and be greeted by such nice people! My sister recommended me this salon 2 years ago and I have to admit it from that moment on they became part of my life!!
