Staff was very friendly and great. Facility was clean as well. Pedicure was $25, however did not like the fact that when they asked you certain questions, they did not advise if it was free or an added cost. 1 minute sea salt scrub = $5. Be aware. Paint was not fully on the nail, large spots missing. Would not return.

I hate to be the person to put a negative comment, but i got my nails done here a month ago. I had issues getting them done- I told the girl she was putting on the acrylic too thick, and it took like 2 and a half hours. They were not what i expected but with my schedule, i had no time to complain more. Now a month later- and they are taking my real nails right off, badly. Almost like they were super glued. So sorry but I'm very angry, ive never had them like this.

I have always thought that spending money on getting nails done was such a waste of money until I got my gel nails done at Chic Nails & Spa! Mai has done such an incredible job! She did exactly what I had wanted and went above and beyond- I wanted to pamper myself for Canada Day so all I asked for was "red and white nails." Mai, with no hesitation, asked me if she could paint my ring fingers white and the rest red. Then she came up with an idea to add sparkles on the white & make the red ones matte + add 3 diamonds on them. Also, it's been almost a month since I got them done, but no broken nails whatsoever. Got sooo many compliments on my nails! Wow.. Mai, you have definitely gained a regular customer. Also, the nice thing about this nail salon is that although I booked an appointment at the very last minute (1 hr before), they were very accommodating. I didn't have to wait despite how busy they were. :) definitely going back this weekend!! P.s. how do I post photos on here?!

Amazing! I love this place! I've been to a lot of nail salons and I've been left disappointed every time. I've been here twice now and I've not been disappointed. They do get busy but I'd rather go to a place that's busy than one that's not. They do exactly what you want and the best part is how friendly they are! I feel just like home there. I recommend this place to anyone even my family and friends.

Me and my mom got our nails done and this is how it went. I personally liked how the guy did my nails! I was in love with them. Staff was friendly. My only issue was that two of my nails broke after 4 days and by the first week all my nails started to lift. And my moms thumb literally broke with her only trying to clean under the nail. I’m not sure on the quality of their glue or powder. But it doesn’t seem that good for easy breaks and immediate lifting

I was given a birthday present to get my nails and eyebrows done. I'd never had acrylic/gel nails before and they looked really great until they raised up and ripped 3 of my own nails off to the point of bleeding. If that wasn't bad enough she dyed my blonde eyebrows jet black and I'm quite sure she has never done brows before as I left the place with black, uneven brows and turns out dye on my face that I noticed in the car and best part 4 weeks later I've still got pimples and angry ingrown hairs that I'd never had before this disaster. But I will say this she does know how to dye hair because I tried everything and nope still looking as ridiculous as I did 4 weeks ago! Never ever again.

Really kind kind people and good at what they do. My only concern was that the shop was kind of filthy. They didn't change the towels between manicures and tools did not look clean. The nails I received were very professional though.

So first of all, me, my step sister, my step mother, and my father made an appointment for 4 manicures at 5pm. When we got there they tried to shove pedicures on us, which me and mug step mother agreed upon but my step sister and father did not. I was left to sit in the chair for 20+ minutes while my father and sister got manicures and my step mother got her feet started, even though we had called in advance (a week prior) they only had one real "manicurist" doing all of the girls gel nails, which takes 30+ minutes EACH. This was my fathers first time getting a manicure and the lady soaked his fingers, pushed back his cuticles, cut them, and filed (not even well) them and that's it. No clear polish and no cleaning of underneath his nails. They charged him $22(!) for this My lady did not scrape my feet nor shave my heels (which needed to be done and she didn't understand English). When it came time for the gel nails, I asked for gel. The girl ended up starting acrylic (I don't get my nails done often so I don't know the difference but my sister does) even though I asked "This is gel?" She also cut me and my sister using the electric nail file, and charged my sister $50(!) for a fill. My nails were tipped in gold, and by time I got home my gold nail polish was coming off in flecks. My step mother got gems lining her cuticles and by time we got home and settled TWO of her gems had fallen off already. The whole time the lady I pressume to be the owner or owners wife was badgering us, cristizing my step mother's Nail colour choices and so on. They completely over charged us (over $300 until they said that they won't tax us if we pay cash, which is obviously so they don't have to claim it and pocket the cash, they didn't even ring it through the register or give us a receipt!) and terrible service. Will not be back ever.

My friend recommended this place, said they do good gel nails. Tried calling for an appt and only got the busy signal a few times. They took me as a walk-in which I am grateful for. They told me it'd be $60. I agreed. The person taking off my old nails cut my skin twice but was very nice and I told them not to worry. During the fill they said ombre is $65. I agreed. As I went to go pay they asked if I have cash and I said I usually do but not today. And they said there's an ATM around the corner. I asked if the ATM would charge me to take money out and I concluded it would. So I said sorry I was in a rush already and the payment machine read $72. I tipped and they looked surprised and I left unhappy about the whole experience. Although my nails do look nice.

Chic Nails has such a welcoming and friendly environment that it’s kept me coming back for almost a year now. I always get my gel nails filled and have been for a pedicure - both are 5 star treatments. They just got a bunch of new colours as well. I definitely recommend it!

I've been going to Chic Nails regularly for gel fills over the course of the past year and can't recommend it enough. The staff are so friendly and great at what they do. I always leave really happy with the work they've done and am constantly impressed with the quality of my gels; I'm not the most gentle with them and they hold up really well. Absolutely recommend!

Terrible customer service! Got my nails (gel) done about 2 weeks ago and have never had this happen to me. Yesterday I accidentally banged my nail on a lid and felt it become lose so I thought "okay, the fake nail finally came off" but I look down to see because the fake nail had bumped it, it caused my entire real nail to fall off too. Was hanging on by the very end of my nail, now I will have no nail there until it grows back. Not sure what kind of glue they use but when this happened before, the fake nail had come off not my whole entire nail. It was after store hours so I planned on going to see if they could help me out the next day as I couldn't get it off myself and it was already infected. So I go down there and I explain what happened and how it's infected the lady smiled at me and once she sat me down she said $5 to take off that one nail that's infected due to their super glue they use so I said I'll go to a walk in and walked out. Last time I'll be going back.
