Unsanitary. I got in there and there was no sanitization done or offered. The lady who did my nails seemed nice but didn’t even give me time to look at the colours or even think before she grabbed my hand. (I was 10 mins early for my appt even). The nails are uneven, lumpy, and extremely thick, and the length was so different between hands I had to cut and file them myself when I got home so that they at least were somewhat similar. The shape was also different on each finger. She seemed rushed and didn’t even talk to me the whole time I was there. I felt like a dollar sign and not a customer. It was my first and last time ever going here. Two thumbs down.

Seemed angry. Cut every finger and dug the dremmel into two cuticles. Not friendly. Not professional. We got the groupon and payed up front.I will not be back unless I get sick from the tools and my cuts. Edit: have spoken to Alberta Health Services and filed a complaint. Their practices are unsanitary. Dremels and emery boards are supposed to be used one per customer. FYI nail customers. Don’t ever attend this unprofessional shop. It’s over a week later and I’m still very upset.

Not bad. I purchased a DealFind voucher for a manicure, pedicure and body wrap. They honoured my voucher even though I purchased it almost 2 years ago. The staff were polite and friendly. It's a tiny little salon with a 2nd floor (for massages and body wraps). The body wrap was nice. They rub you down with a sugar/salt scrub and wrap you for a few minutes. Then they clean it off and rub you with lotion, wrap you up again and you lay in bed for about 10 -15 minutes. They let you take a shower afterwards to clean off (bring extra underwear!). It was very relaxing. The manicure and pedicure was okay. The lady that I had wasn't very good with applying nail polish. She kept missing the sides and corners of my nails. I was like "Seriously?" and I have to point out the spots that she missed. I also had to tell her to put 2 coats on. Isn't it standard to put 2 coats of nail polish??? Anyway, it wasn't too bad of an experience, but it's not great either. I'm happy that they honoured my 2 year old DealFind voucher and I enjoyed the body wrap, but I won't be going back there for a manicure and pedicure.

I have been going to JD Nail and Spa for my eyelashes for over 6 months now and love it! The price is great and my lashes last longer than 3 weeks every single time. I receive so many compliments on how natural they look! Highly recommend!!

I have visited several nail salons in the area and have been unhappy with the level of care and attention they gave me. When I walked in to JD nails and met Angela she provides that extra level of care and attention we all deserve. I have had manicure, pedicures and waxing services and have never felt rushed. Her staff are extremely experienced and talented. It is a friendly and comfortable salon that always feels welcoming. I recommend you make an appointment with Angela for your next manicure.

I have been getting my lashes done for about a year here and it has been the best place I’ve been to. The retention of the lashes is amazing. She is efficient with her time, uses good quality product and very accommodating with booking your appointments! Clean place and friendly staff!
