Wow so im even more frustrated with this company now. I am definately not getting anything done here. I have had two consultations with the injections specialists i booked the second one because the first one was rushed they sat with me for like 5 minutes. I used to be transitioning to be female and had to stop due to some health issues. I really still wanted to feminize my face and I feel like just because im male thought they could bring me in for a rush consult. i didnt feel like they were listening i booked a second consultation as i was not happy with the first. I told her I wanted the full beautiphication package because I wanted to save a bit of money being I really wanted a full soft facial feminization. I still feel trans even if i have stopped and i hate being treated like this. I was not listened to and pushed to do what they wanted me to do last time. They think im beauty-stupid because im "male" and how I look so they can just say what they want and they think I will eat it up. Im not forking out thousands of dollars to people who dont even respect me or understand how i feel. of course, it gets even worse. Then this Caroline girl decides to call me about the negative reveiw i left about the so called microdermabrasion i had done, which was actually mostly a massage and not professional microderm. she basically called to try to upsell me additional services I no longer needed. she tried to get me to go for another appointment with the esthetician for a different microdermabrasion. She wouldnt even apply credit to a new service so she basically was just trying to take more money. I had the microdermabrasion done for a wedding ceremony which is now over and i had no use for another one. So why would I want that now? I was looking at injections, the photo thing for redness and the vampire facials. She basically phoned to tell me about the other facials they have and thats it. Like are you serious? Dont phone me if your going to try and upsell me another service with no refund or credit to the new service. Thats like telemarketing after I was already ripped off? I dont even know what the hell shes calling me about. Worst customer service ive ever seen. Oh and i should not forget to mention they dont do the beautification consults properly. They should be taking the measurements during the consultation. That way you know exactly what services you need to match the beautiphication standards and they can be booked accordingly. thats the professional honest way to administer the service. instead they downsell the package and tell you they dont need to do measurements (as they are lazy and want your money) because staff have a "trained eye". I dont care about your trained eye im paying thousands of dollars for a very specific service and process that yoi dont even want to do. Officially done with external affairs after this Edit: Just in case nobody sees my other review they also booked me at the wrong location and when i asked for microderm the girl on the phonw never mentioned that they had a "dermatologist" style microderm. she didnt even say "which type of microderm would you like to book" and instead i got a face massage for the wedding. i literally used a nail file on my face after the appointment lmao. and no my skin wasnt "too red" for the wedding like when caroline called she had this bs excuse that it was too intense. now she will make another one like oh a nail file is not the same actually its MORE abbrasive but w.e -

Extremely upset and disappointed with my experience with this company if I could give it zero stars I would!!! I HIGHLY recommend NOBODY come here!!! The company advertises Electrocautery which was a new treatment to me so I called the St.Albert location to get some more information regarding the treatment. After about a 20 minute conversation with them they reassured me that not only can they do what I need they will even have their senior representative do it as she is the most experienced. I felt comfortable enough to book an appointment with them in the coming week and even tho the treatment was quoted at $150 for 15minutes I felt it was a price I was willing to pay. Two days before my appointment they had contacted me to confirm which again I thought was very professional it wasn’t until the day of my appointment that my views on this company would change. The appointment was for my 8 year old daughter so not only did I have to leave work early that day and pull my daughter out of school early I drove all the way from Beaumont(45 minute drive) only to come in and have their representative tell me that they cannot do the treatment I was there for. It was a waste of two hours driving in rush hour for NOTHING!!!! It is completely unacceptable for a company to advertise a procedure that they do not even have the equipment to do!! Absolutely appalled about my experience and I will be letting all my friends and family know to steer clear of this place!!! Not at all okay!

I went into External Affairs because I've been struggling with really horrific hormonal-cystic acne. When I made the appointment I asked if there was a dermatologist on staff and if I could see them, the lady said she would book me an appointment for that and I would be seeing a technician and I just assumed that was totally normal and was really excited. When I got the appointment I went into the room and the technician (I won't name her) came in. She asked why I was there, I told her about my acne problems. She then gave me a sales pitch for all of their skin care line and left. When she returned she was carrying a bunch of bottles and told me I needed all of it. She didn't even look at my face and was pushing all of these products. I told her topical treatments don't work because my acne was cystic and hormonal. She said their products were "Medical Grade" and should work. She also gave me these "Hormone Balancing" pills and said they should fix everything. I was so desperate, so so desperate that I just went with it. She successfully sold me $400 worth of product and I'm sure that went to her commission or bonus. It's been over a month, and there have been no improvements, not even a little bit. My face is so dry and the skin around my eyes and mouth is peeling off. My acne has actually gotten worse. This is my face, I have to walk about with this every day, I've cried endlessly over this. Last week I went to the grocery store without makeup and I cried in my car because my face looked like a war zone. I thought after spending $400 I didn't have, I would at least see something. I trusted the technician. I finally did research on what she sold me, and the pills she sold me (For $57) are only 10mcg of the ingredient that supposed to help acne, and 200mcg of broccoli extract. I found something proven to fix hormonal acne, it has 200mcg of that ingredient for $27. Another product she sold me for $47, I found an equivalent for $16. I feel ripped off and it's totally my fault. I shouldn't have trusted her, no one forced me to buy the products, but she made it sound like they would work. I feel so hurt, I spent so much money, and it just really upsets me. I was really nervous to write a review because I've seen how External Affairs as responded to their negative reviews. They always seem to be very upset and write with a "well go somewhere else then". It just makes me anxious. I know this review is pointless, I doubt this will affect anyone's decisions to go here, they have fantastic reviews.

Two days ago, I got lip injections at External Affairs. My fillers were done by Vanessa with the assistance of Becky. Having them done by Vanessa who was training was also very insightful being I was able to see Becky's teaching and it is so clear how great she is at running her business! She as well as everyone else on the staff I spoke to while at my appointment were so friendly, beyond kind, and all their compliments made any nerves disappear. I would definitely recommend going to EA if you are interested in "beautifying" your lips :). Two days after getting them I have very minimal bruising, no pain or itching, and I absolutely LOVE them. They also book you with an appointment two weeks from the day you have your appointment to make sure you're happy the way they turned out. So again, definitely try External Affairs, and see Vanessa !! Such an amazing job and she was a lovely person to chat with as well! :)

Literally, just my experience and merely about business accountability. I had botox,fillers, microblading and my lips done. I understand running a business can be challenging however, I do believe a Great company will go out of their way to make things right with their clients to keep them! Losing clientel can truly hurt a business. - Lips, I had lip injections done, I spent a fair amount of money only to have my lips turn out uneven and extremely bumpy. On the next consult to review the lips after the swelling had gone down, the tech had a look and said, some people are just not candidates for lip injections and I would have to wait for the injections to wear off. Let me tell you, I felt awful having to present myself to my own customers with this mess. I ended up going to 2 other clinics to get a second opinion. The first one didn't want to try and fix the mess and the second clinic, reversed the process at a hefty price but in the end gave me beautiful lips! I was very much a excellent candidate! No accountability, no attempt for corrective actions. Botox- Worked well, next few visits product was not administered properly, paid and in return lacked the results. Clinic B discussed above gave me 150% results! Same with the fillers, bumpy from External affairs, smooth and beautiful from Clinic B, again no offers to see that customer service was met. Microblading- I had my eyebrows done for 600.00 only to find the wrong color was used and they couldn't match the touch up as it wouldn't look good, any compensation? Nope! Not even a follow up.I ended up blending myself for the duration of the color. BHRT- A Good program! However, I must of forgotten about the 500.00 yearly fee. My mistake, I will take accountability because its what integral people do. I ran out of meds, couldn't do the blood work, when asked if they could renew my prescription until I could do the blood work, the response, we will get back to you. No return call. So after learning, I can still do the BHRT through other avenues and save 500 a year, it was just something meant to happen, still no concern that I had no meds. I was going to continue pay the 500.00 but who is accommodating who here? I gave them the Benefit of the doubt to correct themselves however, I feel that is not an area they are fully trained in. Thank you Dr Briggs for your exceptional service! The staff friendly but requires additional customer service training! Sadly, I am local and its even more sad that you can not depend or support your local business. Quote: The purpose of a business is to create a brand and customers, the customer doesn't care how much you know until they know how much you care .

She is the sweetest, most bubbly person, and she did an amazing job calming my nerves. I've heard so many people tell me how painful injections are but the pain was honestly minimal. She explained everything to me so clearly before starting the injections and during the entire process. Best experience EVER!???? I have been to a lot of different establishments for Manicures and Pedicures over the years, but none have ever had a Tech that was a perfectionist. For the first time ever EVER!, I left without any flaws. Every nail was impeccably done, every fingertip was pristine… toes too. Ciara was a perfectionist! Like no other Tech I’ve ever seen... she’s worth every penny to this establishment and more. She took her time and asked often enough if I needed anything. She was kind, professional, personable, gentle and had that OCD tendency I’ve always hoped someone would have. I dislike it when I get home after any appointment and have to fix things that weren’t completed, or that just weren’t they way I think it should be. This visit was worth every cent, and then some. I’ve been going through a life altering, and challenging Journey over the last year and this was just what I needed- to feel pampered, taken care of and to be treated so well and so kindly, professionally and to be in a welcoming environment - from all the kind ladies at the front counter upon reception and when I paid my bill to the treatment from Ciara herself. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for some pampering. Treat yourself, and treat yourself well because if you don’t... no one will. This review is long overdue but I had to share my beautiful microbladed eyebrows I had done by Alyssa. She did an amazing job and they look so natural. She explained everything to me thoroughly before, during and after the treatment so it I wasn't as nervous to get them done. I finally went in for my appt, was still kind of nervous until I met Shelly. We did my photos and I met with Dr.Briggs in the same visit. Not only is the place gorgeous inside, all the staff are super friendly and Shelly did an amazing job. I was going to wait until a few days before I wrote a review but I cried on my way home after looking in the mirror because I was just so happy. I finally have cheekbones and other areas I was self-conscious about have been fixed. She used 3 syringes of filler to do my cheeks, chin and jawline and a few units of botox to my forehead. Shelly definitely knows what she's doing and made a little go a long way, not only that - she is so gentle and great to talk to. I have minor bruising at the moment but I bruise incredibly easy which I was prepared for. I know I'm probably not going to have to go back for a while but I'm excited about the day I do! -DPorter

I received lip injections for the first time and Belotero was the suggested product. At first, Belotero Soft was injected with zero results, then I went back for Belotero Firm and was happy. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks the results disappeared. The cost of my disappointment? $400. I started to do some research regarding this filler (including consultations at other clinics), turns out this product was rebranded (not a good sign) and most doctor's do not choose this product due to the results not lasting long. During my consultation at External Affairs (I won't mention names), I was told that this filler is more natural and lasts longer. As a first timer to the lip injection world, this product shouldn't have been suggested to me, since the results are minimal and don't last long. If you don't have a filler base, DO NOT get this product injected. I have been told to stick to the classics - Restylane and Juvederm. Overall, VERY disappointed and will most likely not return to External Affairs due to this product being suggested to me as "better".

I had my eyebrows done permanently here and she completely ruined them! I told her not to overdraw my eyebrows and not to follow the old permanent makeup lines from 9 yrs previously and that was exactly what she did. I went for a consult originally and was pleased with what was drawn in pencil and even when I had the appointment what was outlined and what I received were 2 totally different things. In order to ‘fix’ part of the issue she over tweezed and cut my own eyebrows as she was doing the procedure, had to measure again and add more to the other eyebrow to make them even. After calling to state that she ruined them, her only statement was that that’s what I agreed to and that I would have to wait until they are healed to look into laser tattoo removal. Horrible advice after horrible service! Don’t go here for any eyebrow services!

My name is teresa and I love Dr Zo products. I started using DrZo hydroquinone kit some time towards the end of November and after only one month I started noticing the difference in my face . My dark spots were starting to lighten my pours became less noticeable and I could see that my face looked so much brighter and softer. People were even noticing that my face looked so bright and clearer. I have also been using the growth factor serum for under my eyes and within a month I could see that my fine lines under my eyes were less noticeable . I also have had Diana and Sheena place botox and filler under my eyes and it helped emensily to remove more of the fine lines and brighten up the eye area .
