I’ve visited ski hotels on most continents (except Antarctica!) and this is by far my favourite. They have thought of everything - from heated boot ski concierge, so toes are toasty when you are heading to the lift, a quick 200m away, great on site restaurant and comfy beds. Oh, and the soaker bath tubs are a dream. Can’t wait to come back next year !!

When this place is fully running it will hands down be a five star joint. They’re still figuring a few things out and none of the pool or hot tubs are built yet. All of the staff were super nice and very helpful. There isn’t a more convenient place to stay if your skiing Red, which is still one of my favourite mountains in the interior. If you like glades and hate crowds, Red and the Josie should be at the top of your list for ski vacations. Beds are some of the cosiest in the Kootenays and the rooms are top shelf. Looking forward to my return.
