I absolutely love Balu Yoga! The studio is welcoming, warm and inviting. It's a really calming environment. Each yoga instructor I've taken classes with have a different style which is great because it means there is something that will work for everyone, and a different class to suit my needs for the day. It's also cool that they have some other professional services onsite such as massage therapy.

I go to Balu for massage seeing Megan every time. She is incredible, every time I go I walk out feeling better not only because of the massage but the information she tells me afterwards. She educates me on how to stretch at home to avoid the problems I may go in with. She always makes sure I am 100% comfortable and always communicates what she is doing. I would never try another RMT in town because she is so great.

Balu is such a wonderful studio. Every class that my husband and I attended was well led and very relaxing. We especially loved the slow and deep classes to get our muscles relaxed after full days of summer activities. Balu is our go to yoga spot in town :)

I have been attending Balu yoga classes for 7ish years. This place has become a sanctuary for many local yogis in Revelstoke BC. We are blessed to have this wonderful ,modern studio. The energy itself is very warm, inviting and non-judgmental. There is a emphasis of self-exploration, curiosity and joy in many of the classes. All of the teachers bring individual strengths with regards to the dynamic weekly class schedule. Would highly recommend a visit if you are local or just passing through town. Balu is highly involved in our local community, and is locally female owned. A great place for beginners or seasoned yogis.

I have attended Balu on an off for a number of years. Strictly due to schedule or my lack of motivation. Not due to Balu. I absolutely love every teacher I have had. I am currently attending once a week for prenatal and absolutely love it. It has helped not only my body but keeps my mind alert and calm. Noelle is also great to interact with. She emails back quickly and is very informative and always looking for ways to assist to help in your yoga practice journey.

Balu Yoga provides new residents to Revelstoke the opportunity to try unlimited yoga classes for 1 month for an amazing price. The space is very welcoming and inviting, and each class begins with a lovely cup of chilled tea! Although I have not been able to try all classes, my favourite is Wednesday nights Hips & Back Flow with Noelle, although I have enjoyed each class attended. Not an avid yogi, classes challenge me mentally and physically and provide me with growth. Would highly recommend trying Balu Yoga if you haven't already!

What is great is that every single class is suitable for any level. The studio has a welcoming atmosphere and great props to use while in class. I was disappointed in the core class I attended. The instructor seemed to throw the class together as she went along ... There were no reasonable nor a variety of alternatives offered as a substitute for more challenging poses. I left feeling discombobulated and would not recomend the instructor.
