My boyfriend bought me a Hydrafacial for Valentine’s Day and I booked an appointment. I received a phone call on the day of the appointment and had to move it bc the product didn’t come in several times. When a client cancels the appointment with less than 24hr notice they get charged 50%, after multiple times even 100%. I didn’t get any discount offered for the inconvenience.
I chose to get a treatment done that’s more expensive and got told over the phone that I would have to pay the difference between the treatment I got on the giftcard ($190 value) and the treatment I chose (restorative treatment $230). So I was expecting to get a charge of $40.
The treatment I received was very nice and I loved it. I was chatting to the lady to come back for micro needling and regular treatments.
However, at checkout, I got charged $70. I left and couldn’t figure out why the $70 charge. So I called the store and Meranda would not even hear me out and kept saying that I got charged more bc I didn’t want to wait for the product to arrive. She didn’t apologize once for moving the appointment on me last notice multiple times nor did she honour the value of the giftcard my boyfriend bought. He bought it during a valentines sale so she charged me the 15% savings he had. Meranda kept repeating that the reason she charged me the 15% savings plus the difference between the difference was because I could not wait for the products and because I had to leave tmrw for a month. Meranda, I’m not leaving on vacation.. I’m leaving bc my mom got diagnosed w a liver issue and I’m going to be there with her..
I was very excited for this treatment and am super disappointed with the way Meranda handled the situation.
