This is going to be a LONG story and would be completely different review if I did it when I originally purchased my hot tub.
About 4 years ago we purchased our hot tub from Barclay at sunset, who was amazing, answered all my questions in a timely manner. Made our experience enjoyable and always communicated with us on what was going on.
However, I reached out to Barclay early June of 2020 about some panels that were cracked and broken headrest. Found out that Barclay didn't work there anymore. I dealt with a different person, he asked for photos of the hot tub and headrest. I message him two times after sending him the pictures to follow up but It took until August for a response and with a response that it slipped past him, head rest were on back order and panels take longer to get here.
I message the employee again in January 2021 as I still haven't heard anything. After a few days, I called the store to actually talk to someone. Found out that, the email for this employee had been down for the last 6 months and all their orders are by email, I asked why I never received a phone call about the delay if the email was down, they have nothing on paper for customer information. So if their system goes down they have nothing to reference. He used COVID as a delay, which I understand to a point. He was very rude and disrespectful. At this point, I would never recommend sunset to anyone. I did call back and asked to talk to the owner. Only thing that came from that was, they were working on getting his email working and normally people like him. I received an email on January 8th 2021, that he message the rep for an ETA on the panels and still nothing to this day. I have messaged them on April 17th for a follow up. Now it's a waiting game.
If parts are on "back order" or have been delayed. Good customer service is calling and following up with the customer to keep communication going, then it doesn't seem like you have forgotten about your customer.
