Apparently they don't accept cash on check in or anything else but a credit card. And if you try to use your company credit card they don't accept that either. So me being a truck driver tired and at my max hours for the day they are making me drive to another hotel. I don't understand why cash isn't accepted anymore i offered to give a $500 deposit and the guy said no cant accept that. And he claims to be the manager. I didn't get his name but he is bald and wears grasses. All I needed was 8 hours sleep then I can continue on with my job. Thanks for nothing Sandman Hotel. Ill NEVER stay at your hotels again. And I stay in 2 to 3 nights a week in a hotel. I hope you don't treat all truckers like this or joe blow eiither.

The bathroom was really gross. Mildew all around the tap. Wiped it all off with a washcloth before touching anything. Rooms are showing their age. The best western is much nicer in Quesnel.

I’m a loss for words, typically you can rely on a Sandman hotel for a level of quality and comfort with some notable exceptions and this hotel unfortunately is one of them. Upon checking in and making it to the elevator I was overwhelmed by the stench in the elevator it was like a drunken oil field worker had relieved himself and then lost his lunch in it, taking a deep breath I reluctantly made it to the third floor and to my room noting the mildew funk that seemed had permeated the whole hotel, entering my room I discovered that my room not only was hot and stale it also reeked of mildew so I turned on the air conditioning, which again surprised me at the sheer decibels that it was emitting yet the complete lack of any cooling provided, I went into the washroom and the fan there immediately started shrieking and grinding incessantly like a banshee. Not impressed I struggled with the window since the air conditioner was not only deafening but completely ineffectual. As I waited for the room to cool down, I turned on the ten year old tv and also tried to use the horrible internet service, which was slower than dial up and regularly dropped, sadly pretty pitiful especially when I had paper work to finish that required working internet to complete. The room itself was clean but the decor was decidedly “tired” probably in the eighties the furniture would have been in fashion but by now. In all pretty terrible, this coupled with uncaring staff made my stay a memorable one. I stay in hotels often four or five times a week… I have no desire to stay in this one again. I’ve stayed in hotels half the price of this one with a much more enjoyable stay.

Very well received by front desk manager Jesse. This was our last night of a 14 day motorcycle trip from Kelowna, B.C. to Haines junction, Yukon Territory. I must say the beds and pillows were the best of all the motels we stayed at. Of course, having a hot tub and swimming pool was a bonus along with a Denny's restaurant attached to this Motel. When departing the Motel the following morning, I was cut off by an erratic driver who happened to be a guest at the Motel. This was witnessed by Sandman Manager "Andrew" who took immediate action in dealing with the driver advising this type of driving would not be tolerated on his property. Kudos to Andrew for advising me of his follow up action. I've stayed here in the past and would highly recommend this Inn when travelling through Quesnel. By the way, great rates!

Clean well maintained room, definitely up to sandman standards. Front desk staff were quick and efficient and dealt with my colleagues room issue with no hassle.

Room smelled. TV doesn't work. Bathroom fan so loud it could wake the dead. Grout berween the tiles in the shower area black with mould. Asked to be moved to another room, however, front desk said they could not oblige.

It wasn't bad. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The staff were unfriendly and unknowledgable...they couldn't even tell us where to find an open restaurant! The rooms usually come with books or binders to tell you about the area and the hotel etc but not this time. This time not even the front desk could help us. They also failed to mention the closure of the pool, hot tub and fitness facilities when we booked the room. Do NOT recommend staying here at this time.

Never stayed here but seems Google hits me for a review by just driving by. I know my parents stay here when visiting from Salmin Arm, and never said anything other than it was good. Assume Sharks is closed because of Covid, but there is Dennys at the other end, and they do make a damn good burger.

Had to wait at front desk for someone to help me, card keys didn't work the first time, room smeleed funny and was outdated and the corporate rate isn't a deal. It's cheaper for anyone to book online or just walk in as I found out when I went down to get a new key and someone was checking, he get the same room 30.00 cheaper without a corporate rate. When I asked I was told he got a promo deal. The express check out is only good if you don't want a receipt. I did notice that my rate was adjusted to the promo price from what I was told when I checked out the next day.

Very clean rooms. I booked at the counter last minute and they only had king suite. I've been in those before and this one lived up to it as well. The Rockford grill is attached and great wings... good service at the front desk... they asked of I had a pet so i assume that you can have pets with a deposit.

Ask for a room with a balcony was told yes...the building doesn't even have balconies. Pool closed, shark club also closed...was not told any of this when I called to book. Also couldn't get a key card to our room as the machine was down. The only front desk worker had to walk everyone to their room and open door for them. She actually told another customer that they had to wait 30 mins before she could get them to their room. Anytime I left my room I had to ask to be let back in. Dirty floors in our room....terrible terrible customer service. The only good thing I have to say is about the maintenance guy. He saw me struggling to get into my room and kindly helped me. Do not recommend staying here...
