Great place to get a male hair cut in Powell River. I've tried several different places in Powell River for male hair cut and all of them weren't very good. Additionally , Emma does a great job with the hair cut at a discounted rate as well which is a plus. The discount rate may just be for the summer.

So I’m gonna try keep this review brief. I had my first cut with Anne today at Image 1 Salon & Spa. Ummm ... WOW!!!! This woman knows what she’s doing. My shampoo and condition felt great, and she did EXACTLY what I requested for my cut. It was perfect, flawless cut. I also REALLY appreciate that she didn’t try sell me every haircare product in the store. I find it so crass when salons force their stylists to do that. I will buy that stuff when I need it. I’m so glad she had the respect to avoid that awkward part of the hair cutting experience. Despite being a busy salon it was spotless, stocked with modern equipment, the atmosphere was calming and smelled herbal and fresh. Neutral colours and furniture were well chosen. You can tell this salon is loved both by the staff and the owners. The friendly woman with shoulder-length blond hair (sorry, I can’t remember her name) at the front desk was prompt, kind and attentive. She even addressed me by name when I returned for my appointment later that afternoon. This was a very welcoming touch I haven’t experienced at many salons, especially on my first visit. Anyway, Anne, you are an amazingly talented stylist, exude a calmness that is contagious, have an almost superhuman ability to translate your clients ideas/requests about their haircuts into reality (this is tough to do). You’ve got yourself another client. Thank you again.
