Absolutely love this place did my hair and my mom and my maid of honor plus makeup and everyone was very nice and gave exactly what I asked for and looking for only giving 4 because I find it a bit hard to breath in there not ventilated enough. other then that I'd absolutely recommend going here.

I went to Leah today for a colour correcting and I’m blown away with the service. I had no appointment made as of yet and reached out via Facebook because I was so upset with how my hair turned out prior. She let me me know right away when someone canceled for the next morning she kept in touch, got me in, and did a beautiful job on my blonde hair. They really know how to make you feel welcome at Leahs Locks and give you exactly what you’re looking for. I left SO happy today. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend. ❤️

Not only will the staff discuss the process with you and make sure you get what you want but they are very friendly and inviting. Very unprofessional to call the cops on an unhappy client because she posted a bad review. She didn’t like the job you did but instead of refunding her you’ve effectively shot yourself in the foot here. Hope I don’t get a visit now by local law enforcement ????

I’ve been a client of Leah’s for about 15 years. I always, always get the cut and style I ask for. But more than that, the shop is a fun, cool place to spend time in. Super friendly, relaxed and spotless atmosphere, I can’t imagine going anywhere else. And on the few times Leah hasn’t been able to do my hair, Steph does it, and she’s phenomenal too. 5 stars across the board! Love!

Throughout this whole pandemic lockdowns and stuff they've done their best to take care of us... they called us to reschedule our missed appointments... and worked with our varied schedules... Niagara Contracting & Technical

Hair went green/gray after asking if they have a good colour tech, asked for it to be fixed and they didn’t have enough time. Paid $200 and hair looks barely different than before after the “fix”. Posted a review already but deleted. Talk around town is to not go here for anything. Wish I knew, so much for trying to stay local.

I've noticed my hair has broken off half my length in different areas. My hair was at below my shoulder blades and pieces are just above my shoulders. My hair feels like straw. During the month of February there was 50% off services with a specific hairdresser, so I gave her a shot. My first appointment was $130, after the 50%, so the original price was $260! My second appointment cost $105, making the original price $210. In reality, I have a $470 hairstyle.... I've lost hair. I can't even style my hair because no matter what it looks and feels awful. I informed the salon. They offered me some free hair mask treatment that I put on at home. They just put some in a cup... I just feel that I've paid quite a bit of money for nothing really I messaged Leah again March 25 to let her know that my hair still looks awful and I still really hate it. Her reply to me insensitive, unsympathetic and quite rude. She went through my Facebook and said because I'm smiling in my pictures that I must be happy... well I smile in all my pictures. Even as a battered wife, I smiled in pictures!!

I only have wonderful things to say.....the salon is very clean and inviting, great stylists, fantastic customer service. Pedicures and manicures are also offered and I have always had compliments from people on how nice this looks, there is massage available. I would never go to any other hair stylist, Leah has been fantastic with me, she listens to my wants and needs regarding colouring, styling, and cut. We discuss this prior to any colour being applied. This is the very best salon I have been to, it certainly beats the large majority of salons in Toronto or anywhere else. I used to go to Marc Anthony....himself and I can truthly say love Marc however Leah is far better. She wants you to walk out the door feeling beautiful and fantastic.....and you most certainly do! As I say I will stay with Leah's Locks permanently and also have been very proud to recommend this totally proffestional establishment! Keep being great Leah!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Leah's locks for many many years...pfff I'd say 11-12 years, maybe more. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My whole family goes. You walk in the door, it's like you're home. They do whatever they can to make you comfortable and they are very accommodating. I can't tell you how many times over the years they've squeezed me in because of an emergency and Leah had stayed late just so I'd have great hair or she cut gum out of my son's hair. I leave sometimes with my hair wet and I finish it at home just because I use velcro rollers and like to get them in there. Over the years we've had 1 or 2 instances that once it dried the was a blip. Let me tell you, I just called Leah and in minutes, I was back in her chair. If there's an issue, any issue - they will go above and beyond to correct it. Leah takes great pride in her salon and her staff. You won't find a cleaner place - salon or spa - and you don't have to worry about getting nail fungus either. They always pass their health inspection. I can't tell you, well actually I can... every day i get complimented on my hair, every day - at least once. I owe that to Leah. If there is ever a negative review on here, you can rest assured they came here directly to complain rather than go to Leah because she would have made it right. It's a great place.

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. I think this deserves two bad reviews from two unhappy (what could of been repeat) clients who were trying to support a local business. As Leah put it on the phone, “we aren’t the type of business she wants - she’s happy with her regular clients “ super inviting for a new young couple to town, right? I was unhappy with my hair after it turned green and gave them a chance to fix it - it was not. To which then we wrote the first review which was deleted. After writing the second review with our contact information trying to get this dealt with; we were not contacted after the owners reply that she would like to discuss this. When finally calling there to discuss, I was lectured and talked down to. Finally told she’d be happy to refund me just to get me off the phone so I could finally get it fixed somewhere else. So I asked if it should be etransfer or if I come in, then got told never mind - that she doesn’t like my attitude and hung up on as she said she was too busy to deal with this. Later called again, hoping it would be a better time to talk to resolve this and was told off and she threatened to call the police on me!!!!! I don’t know what kind of owner operated place this is but please take your business elsewhere.

I find it funny here that people find it necessary to attempt to smear a good business name out of sheer jealousy. I moved from downtown Toronto to Port colborne and was fearful of anyone touching my long hair. After having a hairdresser completely destroy my hair (who now runs her own hair salon business in Welland), Leah spent a full year nurturing my hair back to life. I am extremely picky and have high standards on my hair and I cannot express enough how utterly thorough and talented her and ALL of her staff are. I paid over $300 for my obre hair in Toronto and would happily have paid the same here. However, Leah is reasonably priced and exceptionally personable. You'd be an idiot to go to any one else if you want top notch professional hair care.
