I wish i could give them zero stars. I had just moved to town as i have lived in a big city for the past 7 years and been at the same nail place for 6. I regularly get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and was looking for a nail place to stick with for my stay. I had a few people tell me they were good so i thought id try it out. I went there 12:00 on a saturday having a good day excited to get my nails done, i walk in and they are full but no one is sitting down waiting. One of the ladies asked me what i wanted done and i told her. Then i asked them if they knew how long of a wait it was going to be. Here's the thing i would have waited an hour if they said that, i could have left and came back (iv waited an hour before if the place is right.) and its only 12:00 in the afternoon, but what did the guy say to me? He looked at me and said "Not today"! Simply NOT Today! and i asked him pardon me? because i still thought maybe i heard him wrong and he goes "NOT TODAY" and put his hands up shooing me away twice!!!!!!!! I was very offended not to mention everyone in the salon was seeing what is going on! I get if your busy and its going to be a long time, but the customer should always come first maybe if you had asked me or told me it was going to be a long time or hey, you might want to try another place were very busy but please come back. but you just lost out on a great long term customer who also may i add believe good tippers get better service. So thanks to the gentleman who shooed me away like an annoying rodent, i found a great nail place just down the road! And it ended up working out perfect. I will continue to tell my story to people because nobody deserves to be talked to like that in public and especially from a business! Its funny because every review says something about a gentleman being rude not the girls. I don't care if you are male or female we all deserve equal respect. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

My best friend went last night with her little sister to get her nails done and my friends pinky finger cuticle and skin got buffed raw to the point of bleeding and and was tender and very sore. She went back this morning after looking that they had failed 2 inspections for Niagara Public Health and they said that the Internet lies. My mom went with her and was concerned for infection and they said that her finger slipped and that’s what the cut is from. No apology but requested that she uses polysporin or vasaline and it will be fine. Her nails hurt and they laughed at her when she explained how much pain her nails were In and said there was nothing they could do. No money back of any reimbursement of any sorts. Very disappointed that my friend is worried about infection and nothing on Kim’s nails part to explain or help with better costumer experience. Very poor costumer service and rude comments.

This place is nice. But the way they talk to the customers and the way they respond to your questions is very rude. Not impressive at all. The place is nice and clean but the workers needs to realize and change their attitude. I went there one time then i asked how much is the acrylic one, they answer "oh its expensive" then i just ignore it. Then i asked again how much is the clear with white end of my nails then thay answered "more money" i was like? What is wrong with these people. They need to chill. And many more. So if you go to this place just try to observe.

I called two hours prior to scheduling an appointment for five girls, pedicure and manicure. Once I arrived, I was then told they do not take five people because they do not have enough technicians. I questioned why we were not told this on the phone, the gentleman lied and said he mentioned this. Unfortunately for him, he was on speakerphone where we all heard the same conversation. The only conversation on the phone was: do you have an opening today for 5 girls? He answered "yes"; then "what time do you want to come in?" I answered 4:00pm; lastly was my name. The man was irritable and extremely rude. The technicians were nice and pleasant, they did an okay job on the two children. Only two out of the five were able to get their nails done...such a waste of time.

I don't know why this place has very less reviews. I have visited this place more than 10 times and everytime it gets better and better! The staff is very wonderful the place is super clean and the prices are just about right. I always leave a tip because they do such an amazing job. The owner is very nice and the guy working at the front desk is very helpful too. I always ask for 'Vii" she really takes pride in her work and always takes her time! Today I went in with a question and the owner just handed me a huge bottle of oil for free!! I mean who does that :-) five stars and highly recommended

I've been going to Kim's for almost 2 years now. I get acrylic fills, and they always are wonderful to me. I've never had a problem or issue and they always are accommodating. I also have never had an infection, or any issues in that department. It's always clean, warm, and friendly.

I've been here a few times and I find they do a great job on my nails. But the man at the front that answers the phone is very rude. If you don't have time right now tell me to come back later or ask if I want to make an appointment. Twice he has just told me "not right now..No time" and he's not very nice about it.

I hardly ever review business but!... I went to Kim's Nails, despite the bad reviews because the location was convenient for me. The day before, I had a set of acrylics put on and absolutely butchered in fort erie. I ripped them off in the car on the way home, I was so upset. I had business in Welland today and thought I would give it a shot. I walked in at 3:10, walked out at 4:00pm I was helped by Tim immediately. I let him know my nails were very very thin because I just had just removed a set. He was very gentle and careful. He spent so much time shaping my nails, filing and buffing every little detail. He took such great care of me! I have never had my nails done so well ever! He took so many extra steps that no other person would do.!!! TIM YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!! he can do any shape, style you want. He is #1 ***I very highly recommend you see Tim at Kim's Nails!!**** Thank you for a great experience from start to finish!

The best place for nails. I usually get the pedicure and gel or UV extensions on hands. Either is very good and durable. Best to book ahead of time especially at the end of week. Almost every attendant I had over the years was very detailed and professional. This is my first choice nail salon for miles around. Don’t let the guy at the desk scare you, he comes off unfriendly but well worth the beautiful results.

I've been here 2 time to get my eyebrows waxed and both times my skin was badly burned and it took a few days to heal. The first time I didn't know that I shouldn't have gotten them waxed because of my skin medication. I mentioned this to someone and apparently they should've noticed RIGHT away. The second time was because I was off of skin medication for a while so I wanted to go again. I explained to the lady what happened the first time and she seemed to understand. But once again, my skin was burned and scarred up a day later.

I normally go to a place in Fort Erie but when I don't have the time this is where I usually end up if I need to stay in town. 2 weeks ago I called asked if I could come in and see Jenny, the man was extremely rude to me on the phone when I asked him to repeat himself because I didn't hear him. He hung up on me. I called back, thinking it was an accident and he proceeded to yell at me, say a few rude things and then hang up again. They do a decent job here and I prefer to see Jenny if I go. However based on the last interaction I had with them I won't ever be returning, customer service is extremely important to me.

These people really hustle and do their very best to accommodate everyone, even those people leaving ignorant comments here. Some people just live to complain no matter what the experience. These people do a fantastic job fitting in every walk in, every appointment and special requests with a very demanding schedule. Its not easy to do especially trying to tolerate "difficult customers". There are so many people I know that love this place!!!!! Great job, wonderful, hard working & kind people. Would recommend to those that understand business and genuinely appreciate the efforts required to run this place well!

Don’t waste you’re money. I went in during the day around 2:30 for 2 pedicures after calling to make the appointment. The facility was fairly clean and the chairs were nice. The pedicure was below average for the high cost of $50 before tax. They did an adequate job cleaning my toes and removing the callus from my heels and aside from painting my toes that was the entire experience. There was no exfoliating scrub or lotion applied to my feet or legs, there was no massage or use of hot stones (which is common practice at every other place I’ve been) the person I went to my appointment with finished before me and they rushed through the rest of mine. For the $50 I spent I could have had a much more enjoyable experience at many other salons.

I have been a few times to see Jenny and this review does NOT reflect her. I saw Cindy the other day for a nail dip treatment. While buffing my nails and removing old nail dip, she cut my skin around my nail bed about 6 different times. I asked her to cut my nails a tiny bit shorter and I went from having a decent length to my nails touching my skin from my finger tips. And I had to tell her she missed a bunch of my nail on the sides with the dip. And then she tells me I'm too sensitive (from the cuts she gave me), and I should ask for someone else next time. Seriously? I told her i wasn't sensitive, that she cut me 6 times. I am so not impressed, do not see her.

Tom makes Kim Nails the worst place to go to in welland. He is so rude for absolutely no reason and the review about him telling a customer they didn’t have time for her but there was no one in there is true... they do that there. When they first opened in welland he was so nice but that was clearly to draw in clientele... now he is the rudest person I have ever encountered at any nail salon I’ve ever been too

Came here multiple times, Tom is the best! He always provide A1 customer service and always handle my nails with great care. Kim's Nails never disappoint and they're always very detailed and thorough. I'm seeing bad reviews about Tom but I can't comprehend it because he's truly a kind, funny and friendly man. Perhaps, it's just a difference of culture? Would definitely recommend this place!

I would put 0 stars if it were possible. The lady doing my shellac pedicure spent the first 10 minutes of my pedicure trying to convince me not to get shellac when I kept telling her regular polish doesn’t stay longer then a week on my toes. It made me very uncomfortable and from there on everything I asked she responded very snarky and ignorant. Then she applied the polish TERRIBLY and she kept blaming the “color” rather than her apologizing and redoing it. The WORST part about the whole experience is that the owner KIM stood there for 15 minutes and watch me argue with the nail tech. She did absolutely nothing when she saw I was upset and just sat back and watched. I DO NOT recommend this salon to anyone, I am extremely offended and disappointed, especially with the owner.

Well. I'm am thoroughly disgusted and appalled by this Buisness. The massage chaos are not sanitized between clients for one. The foot soaker tubs should take at least 30 minutes to sanitize minimum to avoid any passing of fungul infections and warts to other clients. They do not sanitize their tools in front of you, which should be done of the business is professional. I only say this due to the fact I have a duel license in aesthetics and hairdressing. Also witnessed a woman trying to book an appointment, and the man taking the booking for her basically humiliated the poor lady. He had said that her feet were too hard to work on and his technicians said they didn't want to serve her! Now, if they would do their job properly with Gehwhol foot soaks, there would be no issue. They are just lazy. I only put one star due to the fact I have to rate it to write this review/warning. Otherwise, if I could, they would receive no stars from me. I warn anyone and everyone to stay away.

I usually don't write reviews but I'm doing so since I see a lot of negative reviews for this salon. I've been here twice already and both times have been excellent and pretty much perfect. I got a mani, pedi and waxing done and was very satisfied with the results each time. I often find that at most places, they are too rough with the instruments they use while giving a mani/pedi and that hurts my fingers and toes...but at Kim's, they are very gentle and still manage to get the job done! The workers there are nice and polite and I never got any rudeness from anyone there. I will recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning there in the future!

Horrible, rude and very impolite. Owner tells me to not come back after charging me for something they didnt even tell me. Personal was wonderful and very polite but Owner was so rude. Due to personal reason i was running late and even called before hand to tell them and apoligize. I’ve went there twice and treated me horribly and all i can say is dont go there.

5 stars for my favourite nail tech "Jenny" ... however, the behavior of the man who oversees the appts and cash register (seated at the entrance) gets a negative 250,000. Appalling. Never in all my years seen anything like it. Jennys been doing my nails for years. Went in today, to request an appt for Saturday with Jenny. Not only was I told "no" by that man, he didn't even look up. I saw Jenny in the distance; she was free...so I went over to talk to her. She was very nervous about answering my question about her availability...pointed towards the man, eyes down. What the heck is going on over there?? I again asked the man if I could make an appointment, in the next two weeks,, he looked up from his client this time; told me he was very busy and to leave....with a room full of customers. Very embarrassing. I told Jenny i'd find her again at her next place of employment, to which HE responded I should do that...that as long as she was working there, I was not welcome to return.

he did an terrible job, however were VERY rude to my sister-in-law and I. After not listening to us as to which type of gel nails we wanted and continuing to put on the wrong ones, hey would talk to his girl another language, while I was trying to explain which type of nail that we did want. And he was very rude, he may the owner his name is Tom. And proceeded to slightly yell at my 15 year old sister-in-law and tell her she was wrong about what type of nail she wanted? Not a very good first experience for her, in her first time getting her nails done. I will probably never return there.

Absolutely terrible experience. I took my little sister here for a fun date and they buffed my cuticles so raw that I bled. They hurt so bad I couldn't sleep that night. Went in the next day to complain, brought up that I researched their bad inspection on public health website and was concerned about infection and told that people lie online. I'm missing a full layer of skin around my cuticle and they did nothing about it. Never going back. Totally rude when they should have apologized and accepted their mistake.

I've been there a few times now, I have my own place I normally go to but when I can't get in I go to Kim's Nails. I've seen Kim and Jenny and have nothing but praise for what they do. I always walk out quite pleased with what they have done to my nails. I think when people say Tom is rude I might think it could be a language barrier. UPDATE I take back my great review AND 5 STARS as today I called because i unfortunately missed my appt, I sincerely apologized but he didn't care and told me Jenny has no openings the rest of the week and then he hung up on me he is incredibly rude and and disrespectful to his customers!! Jenny is great though it's unfortunate she works there because now I will never go back there.
