I went to Aqua-Blue Pools to inquire about changing the pump on my Intex pool. I dealt with Hannah, who was so patient with me as I am new to this type of pool and didn't know what I needed. I just wanted to be able to vacuum my intex pool using the pump. She explained that I needed to install a skimmer, and also needed to purchase the sand filter if I was going to replace the pump with a 1 HP as my existing sand filter would be way too small. She went over the instructions on how to install the skimmer, etc... I called several times and visited the store, and she was always pleasant, patient, and more than helpful. I truly appreciate the service I received. :) Thank you Hannah and Aqua-Blue Pools for your service.

Worst service you can get. I went there to shop for a new pump and was told that they can diagnose my existing pool pump as it was only 4 years old. I took it off and left it with them, Joe called and mentioned that I didn’t need to buy a new pump but some bearings and seals needed to be replaced. Whatever work he did cost me $150 plus a $20 diagnose, my pool pump is still not working at this point after putting it back on. I called and talked to a Hanna or Rebecca and gave me the run around, I asked for a call back from the owner to try to rectify the issue and they seem not to care much.

Like the majority of people I was looking for a pool. I was recommended Aqua Blue for their well known service. I was lucky enough to talk to Sue and she informed me she had 1 18 x 33 above ground beauty so I drove down to Welland and put a deposit with them after seeing everything you got with the purchase . Unfortunately after measuring out the location it would not fit in my yard ! I called today and they said they would have no problem refunding the deposit but they did not have anything else to offer. I appreciate their great service and attentiveness.

Honestly stay away from this store. The “manager” Hanna is rude, shames people based on their age and gender, and extremely argumentative. My experience with the management from this store is actually disgusting. Calling people names such as “crazy, embarrassing and humiliating, etc” is no way a professional should act. As I can see in other reviews, it seems that other people have had similar experiences. Please learn to treat people with kindness.

Had to change my review now for the second time. Fist experience with the pool opening went great. I absolutely cannot recommend them for a construction project, however. A three day job took four weeks to complete due to bad scheduling. It also ruined my lawn, due to the mounds of dirt, rocks and cement left there the entire time. Now the pressure is so high when we try vacuum we can no longer use the barracuda. Eric, the service manager, has been intolerably arrogant and condescending. Still trying to get in touch with Darren, the owner, should you read this.

I really have to say that I had the worst experience ever with Aqua-Blue pools store, especially with manager. I have been living here for almost 10 years, but this is the worst service that I had. Definitely will not recommend any of my friends there!

When we have had some problems with the pump they were able to have some service people contact us to get the problem fixed. Pool was opened as expected. The site was cleaned up and pool cover rolled up and stored. My only complaint is that two of the lugs that hold down the winter cover were not fully sunk into the cement leaving a hazard sticking out that could injure bare feet. Other than that I have always had great service from Aqua-Blue.

Our first visit was great, the woman was very helpful. After that nothing but problems, and they've crossed the line and forced me to write my first review. The reason they crossed the line is because we purchased a pool from them, first mistake, 2nd mistake was going with whom they recommended. Anyway we had the pool set up and filled, oh no the liner is split, pool emptied. They said they would cover the cost. The company came in an attempt to fix the liner. They attempted this fix with their boots on we now feel the foot prints at the bottom. The pool we refilled...only to again empty. We received a new liner and had it put in. In all the pool was filled 3 times and is being enjoyed. However we come to the issue at hand, the reason for the review. The company now says (after months of talking with them) that they gave us $100 store credit in October and we used it. 2 things, no they did not (and why would we be pool shopping in October) and it's more like $500 In today's day and age people no longer are forced to take it from the company's, social media gives us a voice to fight back. I will submit this message all over every media outlet that I am a part of, as well as several that I am about to join to get the word out. Thank you for reading

Never schedule a pool opening with this company!!! We had them come open our pool because we recently purchased a house with a pool that had been closed by the previous owners and we are first time pool owners so we didn't know what we were doing. They don't give you any time frame when they will show up (we waited until almost 4 pm). The guys showed up took the tarp off and one guy set up the system. They then turned the hose on and put it in the pool to fill and told us to call the store when the pool water had raised and they would be back the next day to start the system, make sure there were no leaks and add the chemicals. The next morning I called the store to let them know the water level was high enough and also we had a leak in one of the pipes, the girl on the phone left a message on the desk of the person who deals with the service technicians. Around 430 nobody had arrived or called so i called the store again and was told that they don't come back and that we had to do the rest. We asked why they would tell us that and that we had scheduled the opening because we didn't know how to add chemicals or work the system and were told it wasn't a show and tell and that if we wanted someone to come out and show us they could do that for an additional charge. When we finally cleaned out the pool and turned the system on none of the hoses had been connected properly and water leaked everywhere out of every hose because the technicians weren't able to come back to do the job we payed them for. The next day they called back to tell us that our pool was unsafe and would likely need to be replaced. I asked why they would have filled it with water if it was unsafe and the response I received was "I tell the technicians not to talk to customers" (really???) I also let them know when we turned on the system it leaked from every hose as it was not connected properly and the person on the phone seemed to ignore that and went on about something else. Many of the other things that were supposed to be done for the pool opening were not done as well but when mentioned he had an excuse as to why they couldn't be done and focused on the things that were not included. Customer service goes a long way and not once did I feel like he was trying to rectify the problem. It was just excuse after excuse. If the technicians were able to come back like they said they would and were paid to do I'm sure they would have gotten the job done properly. Management needs a reality check and the company needs to make good on their promises. Looking at other reviews I'm not the only one with this problem. Lack of customer service is the big one here. Not once did I feel like they actually cared about our problem. All we got was a "sorry for the miscommunication". It wasn't miscommunication, it was an outright lie. They were supposed to come back to finish the job and they didn't and management refused to listen to us. The only positive thing I can say is that the ladies I have spoken to at the store when I called with questions were extremely helpful however in the future I will be taking my business elsewhere. UPDATE: They have yet again proven to be an untrustworthy company. Upon checking my credit card statement I noticed they charged me approximately $40 more than the original quoted price. I understand that things happen and sometimes there are additional charges but we have spoken to the service manager twice since the pool opening and not once was anything mentioned to us about an additional charge by him or the technicians nor have we received an invoice or receipt to explain this extra charge.

Aqua Blue replaced the liner and skimmer basket in my in ground pool. I also hired them to close my pool for the winter. Both experiences were great. These people are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and amazing. I could not be there when they did the work. When I got home the only sign that they had been there was the new pool and the closed pool. Wonderful. As for the quality of the materials, let's put it this way, when I move in the spring, they are going to be my go to people for installing a new pool and for all my pool requirements. And no, they are not close to my home. Hire these people for all your pool needs. Buy your products from them. You will NOT regret your decision.

My husband and I have used Auqa Blue Pools for pool openings and closing as well as converting to and installing a salt cell. Recently the team at aqua blue assessed that we needed to replace our pool valves and return lines due to water loss. The work was completed efficiently and replacement was done based on fact and testing. We were able to ask lots of questions regarding pricing and timelines and they were answered with honestly and integrity. We are very happy with the continued service we receive be it in store or at the house.

We would strongly recommend Aqua Blue for all you pool and hot tub needs. They installed a new in-ground pool for us. Darren came to the house and went over the different styles, equipment and options available. Once we decided what we wanted, Craig meet with us periodically to discuss timelines, bylaws and laid out what to expect. Both provided suggestions and friendly advice. We were told from the beginning that installation would not be till spring 2020. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a call stating our pool would be installed this year, fall 2019. We found the entire staff to be very professional, reliable, incredibly knowledgeable, and honest. We meet with other pool companies but no one else made us feel as comfortable as Darren and Craig. Also no one else was able to come close to Aqua Blues price point. We are very happy with our pool and Aqua Blue.

I would not recommend Aqua Blue pools to anyone. They were scheduled to open my pool and arrived to my residence. They saw that my pool was dirty, there was no winter cover on it and they took a picture of it and sent it to their service manager. His response was not to open my pool as it needed more service and send his crew on their way. I contacted him twice afterwards to try and get an appointment to preform the extra work needed on my pool with no response. I ended up going with a different company who upon inspection of my pool concluded that Aqua Blue wanted to replace some items that didn’t need replacing. Fast forward a month later and Aqua Blue has charged me for a pool opening on my credit card. Without sending me an invoice for their service. When I contacted them the first time they told me that there was nothing they could do as they had to charged me for the service they provided, which was taking one picture. The price of that one picture was 199 plus tax. After a long heated discussion an another call back they were able to remove $100 from my bill in “good faith” but that was after they accused me of coming in to their store and yelling at their employees which would be impossible as I was phoning them on my coffee and lunch break at work 1.5 hours away from their location. When I told them I was going to review their “service” they responded that I was being childish and I was threatening them. I had asked them for an invoice that showed what services that they provided and what charges they were charging me for and they sent me an invoice for a pool opening, one that they did not preform. Their service manager is adamant that I agreed to their terms and conditions but when I requested a copy of my agreement to the terms and conditions they were unable to provide me with one as it is online only and computer generated. Save yourself the time, hassle and sick feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you have been scammed and choose a different company. Lesson learned, do not give any company your credit card information until they provide you with an invoice and complete the service.

Worst customer service/sales. Went there today to look at purchasing a above ground pool. Stood around for 10-15 min waiting for help all the staff did was ignore us. Guy comes in during our wait seems to know worker and decides to talk about the last 8 years of there lives. Decided to leave. Went to Doneen Pools in Smithville and meet with a very friendly sales lady and ended up purchasing pool from there. Aqua Blue your lose.

I called Aqua Blue to come fix my liner in my pool because it slipped over the winter. They gave me a quote and date for about 1.5 weeks later. I mentioned I was selling my home so they said if they can theyll try to get there sooner, two days later they called and said they had extra time that day and went and fixed my liner. The next day I went to pay my bill and to my surprise it was a lot lower than I was quoted. Aqua Blue not only did a great job at fixing my issue they provided awesome customer service. I would definitely recommend Aqua Blue to anyone who wants to be treated well and know they wont get over charged for services.

Service not as advertised. Did not perform opening service as described in a direct email. When questioned, management said that our concerns were not part of a normal opening procedure even though the email described the services to be performed. We were told repeatedly that it wasn't opening tech's job to describe in any way how to proceed with running the pool after opening, even though we repeatedly told them we were new to pool ownership. Not once did management ask what would rectify the situation. Only that we should have booked another service that would send someone out to tell us how to run the pool except no one told of this service while in the store or booking the opening even though it was stated that again we were new to this. Very disappointed in the level of customer service.

After reading all the reviews. Ether they are people you know very well becsuse based on My experiance so far it asent been that good. Bought a hot tub. Catalina raptor was told top of the line. Had one issue a year after I bought it and they made Me feel that the problem was my fault. They did fix it. Now the hot tub is 3 years old. The acrylic is blistering on the walls first thing they say are you treating your hot tub properly an other words trying to blame Me again. Then they tell me the manufacturer sold the company therefore I have know WNTY. Because the company was sold I am told even though they still manufacture Catalinas I have no WNTY. Spent $15000.00 on a hot tub. An other words before you buy from them ask question on the WNTY they are good at selling but remember if you have a problem they tend to blame you or others and will brush you under the carpet.

In the late summer I was looking for someone to open my pool, clean my pool, make sure it is working and close the pool. I needed this done because I will be putting the house up for sale. I went on line and read reviews looking for a company I can support locally. I called the pool company that is rated first on the lYELP list and I am still waiting for the Monday call back. It doesn't matter where you are on the top ten, it is customer service that counts and Aqua_Blue Pools, Spas & Baths stepped up to the plate. Thank you for doing a good job with my pool plus coming to fix my filter so water did not leak from my cistern all over my basement floor. You don't even have to try harder to be Number 1, You are Number 1 already
