I have been to Maya Nails twice now and i have to say after my experiences i will NEVER go anywhere else again. The staff was friendly and entertaining, singing and making us laugh the whole time we sat through our nails. On top of that they took half the time on my nails even though they look waaaay better. Definately recommend Maya Nails for anything!

The older gentleman that did my mani peti there did a horrible job on both. Could have done a much nicer job myself and saved the 80 dollars. Asked them to redo the paint job on my nails before i left as i was not happy with the way they looked. At first they were not going to do this for me. Then they said it would cost extra to do this. After arguing that i should not have to pay extra for them screwing up the first time they eventually repainted them for me but they still dont look nice. Worst money ever spent. Going to redo and fix them myself at home

I went for a mani-pedicure a couple of weeks ago. The pedicure was great; however, the manicure failed. The uv lamps where I put my hands was unbearably hot. Also, the polish for my manicure started coming off within two days.

My favorite place is Peterborough to get my nails done, I always end up leaving with exactly what I wanted. They always accommodate walk ins, they are thorough and detail oriented and the staff is friendly. It is also very affordable for the quality you get. Would definitely recommend if you want a good quality, affordable set of acrylics.

My first experience today at Maya and it was perfect. Maya is delightful and her salon is very clean. She did an excellent job with my nails. I had an acrylic fill. I do not live in Peterborough but will definitely return to Maya's when I have reason to be there.

Although the staff were very nice, I found this place to be overpriced and not very good quality for what I paid. Within a few days my Shellac polish started peeling off and some of my nails looked like they had air bubbles almost under the polish. The shape was not done properly and they charge $5 extra for every little thing.. by the end of it I ended up paying $60 for a $35-40 job. I wanted shellac removed to do acrylic and they charged $5 just for that. I’ve gone back and forth between shellac and acrylic many times and have never been charged extra for it. Unfortunately I will have to find another place

30 min pedicure. Great if you are in a hurry. But if you actually want to enjoy the experience you should go somewhere else. Parts of the pedicure hurt. I won't be returning.

I have to say I was quite disappointed. Overall the the manicure & pedicure is just OK. The gentleman who did my mani/pedi seemed unhappy to be there, like I was a bother. He barely spoke, and something about wearing a baseball cap wasn't really - isn't appropriate for a spa environment. Prior to applying polish to my toe nails, there was no cream applied, no foot massage etc (although I did see his co-workers do so with their clients). For the manicure, after clipping my nails & doing a bit of filing, he was ready to polish, I had to ask if he was going to work on my cuticles-he did not soak my fingers for this. After trimming the cuticles, he seemed disgusted with the fact that there were bits on the table as a result of trimming the cuticles! There was no cream applied to my hands at all, no hand massage - nothing! This was my first visit and my last!!!
