I got my nails done August 15. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted dome, she did a very sloppy job of it. My tips are wider then my nails, the tips are 3x thicker then the rest of my nail, they're horribly shaped. Lady took for ever to do them. Paid $43 to get them done and I am so disappointed. I didn't mind them last time from here but the male did them for me. I am not happy!!! Never going there ever again!

I spend 40 dollars on nothing there，I am planning do the tip. However the girl told me the color can’t on the tip at the last minute. I told her I will not pay 40dollars for nothing. She talked to her manager, who sit at very front. They talk in their language which I can’t understand. At last, the manager push me to pay the 40 dollars. To be honest, the few girls there are very nice, I really appreciate them. However, I am not appreciate to the manager at all!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to get a refill of my Acrylics Not only did they charge me $50 for a REFILL but they look awful. The lady didn’t even take all the purple nail polish off I had on before. My nails are half painted. Awful shape and she took almost 2 hours to do them. Will never ever go back !

Paid for my girlfriends nails to get done and they scammed me, they said 40$ for acrylic nails and paid 56$ for gel nails that weren't done right at all.

Pedicure a disappointment. Water was cold, they apparently ran out of hot water and they were boiling a kettle to try to warm up the water. Cold pedi’s isn’t comfortable or even something that should be offered. Toes are not done well, there is polish on my skin and is transparent in places. Honesty save your money. I could of done a better job at home. No discounts were offered either. Won’t return ever

Paid way to much to have to nails done and then they put my sandles right on after painting them and 5 toes had to be re painted take your time stop rushing!

Just got my nails done and i should of not because they fell off the next day plus I guess it cost money to get a shape you want for 10$ Plus the place looks disgusting there is probably rats there I wouldn’t go there ever again

This nail salon is extremely dirty, to the point where I should have walked out the second I sat down. I got a shellac manicure, which is normally about $35 tip included. I paid $45, which is beyond ridiculous. Many salons will do biogel with shellac for $45. Not only was it dirty and over priced, but the nail tech I had didn't even do a good job. The skin around my nails is all red and I will be lucky to not get an infection. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE.

Absolutely, hands down, the WORST expereice I have ever had. Not only are the rude and ignore you completely. I called ahead, made an appointment, show up only to sit there while they finish their food, chit chatting ect. FINALLY she starts my nails and proceeds to put me thruough the most painful full set of nails ever then to tell me that a plain colour is an extra 5$ on top of the price, clear is free..... um, im sorry, what??? I understand that designs ect cost extra, but a plain old red is 5 bucks... on top of their already over priced "work" Across the board - a huge let down, terrible work, messy and rude employees, I will NEVER set foot there again, and as far as im concerned they should go out of business, no one would miss their "Services"

Terrible work! Asked for a new full-set of acrylics and the technician just drilled them down into the shape I asked for without taking my old acrylics off. Not nice shaping, messy and cut my finger next to my nail. Payed $40 for full-set when i never got new acrylics. Never going here again. OVER PRICED

Will never get my nails done here again. The lady i had was very rude and called me cheap when i did not get extra work done. I get that they have to ask it is part of the job but calling someone cheap when they decline is a little much.

Not only did they make me bleed twice while buffering my nails.. im highly positive they used previously used buffers.. and now my nails look awful after they fell off a week and a half after getting them done.. i hardly have nails and theres black lines under almost all my nails(Another cause of black lines on the nails is a splinter hemorrhage, which occurs when blood vessels under the fingernail are damaged), would rate 0 if I could. And I also had to go back two days after getting them put on as one was already falling off.. will never be going back here... my nails are a horrific mess????

WORST NAIL SALON I’VE EVER BEEN TO!!! Got a set of acrylics and the polish started to chip 20 mins after I got them done. Usually I wear acrylics for about 3-4 weeks before I either take them off or get a full but after about a week they hurt like hell (read flag) and had to take them off. As I was taking them off MY ACTUAL NAIL CAME OFF WITH THE ACRYLIC!!!!! I was walking around with 9 nails for about a week until I went to a new salon and got a free set after I told them what happened!!!!! NEVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!! THEY’RE NEVER BUSY AND NOW I CAN WHY.... CRAZY EXPENSIVE FOR A HALF DONE PAINT JOB THAT’LL END UP CHIPPING IN TWO DAYS!!! HOPE THIS PLACE GETS SHUT DOWN!!!!

I been there about a few time and I notice they were wearing mask and they were gossiping about their clients in their language. I speak English so when they speak in a different language that's when I know they were gossiping about their clients and me. I'm partly deaf so when they talk english to me I can't hear them behind the face mask. I want regular people who are fully English so that I could understand clearly.

I paid $56 for my nails and I left the place crying. I got coffin shaped nails and they were all extremely uneven, super bumpy and so ugly. I am so disappointed to have to wear these for a few weeks. I will not go here again. I’m so sad about the results.

They are very rough and kept cutting me when using the file. And when I mentioned it the lady ignored me. They did such a poor job on my nails, the next day they were chipping and lifting. Ask them to fix them and they charge you full price as if you are getting a brand new set put on. They don’t talk to you, just between themselves, and when they do talk it is very hard to understand what they are saying so you have to ask them to repeat themselves multiple times.

I will never go back to this place again. I had a pedicure and a shellac manicure and have never been more disappointed. It was not cheap so I expected a higher quality of work. They cut my toe causing me to bleed, and shaved my nails down so much that you can actually see and feel a difference in the thickness of my nails...they are so thin they break all the time now. The shellac didn't even last 3 days! There are so many alternatives in Peterborough to have mani and pedi's, I will certainly not be returning my business to this place!

I couldn't even relax when I first sat down, as I saw the powdered remains of someone else's nails all over the table (from sanding off acrylics). It just made it seem sketchy and filthy. The final product was awful - I did acrylics, and the nails were unnecessarily thick, with some plastic globs under the nails. A fleck of purple powder from the last person got on my thumb nail and she did nothing, which set it in my nail until the nails were removed. The "black" nail file they used was so old it was now white. The shaping was horrible, the end of my nails being the widest part. When I got them removed I noticed so much had been sanded off that there is a line in my nails between the new nail and sanded nail. One of the nails wasn't even put on well - the acrylic covered my skin, making it so I needed to remove them much sooner than normal. In addition, one of them is so thin it hurts, it feels as if it got torn. Not worth the $60.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done. I went in expecting to pay $18 for a basic manicure and somehow they misunderstood me and I ended paying closer to $50 because they gave me shellac which I did not ask for. It is very disappointing thinking you will be paying one price, then going to check out and paying close to double. I wanted to try this place out because I am a student and they seemed to have reasonable prices but they really just scam you.

WORST place to ever get your nails done. not only did I get a simple mani/pedi and paid $80, it was a sloppy, rushed job that I could have 100% done better myself. not to mention I did have to fix up her bad filing, but I had to pick all the hardened nail polish under my nail. very uneven paint job, some nails very thick while others too thin. the ladies are very rude, not to mention make you feel as if you are a hassle for being there!! she purposely did not go to my nail beds, making me need to go in sooner for the fill.. more money in her pocket. (needless to say I would NEVER go back but to top off a terrible experience/ badly done nails I have now gotten an ingrown finger nail which I've NEVER had in my life. this place is truly disgusting how they treat their customers and being so unsanitary. really disappointing.

I was not experience in the nail world. Got my nails done there and found out they said they were doing bio gel nails and that's what I paid for however it turns out they did acrylic. So I got ripped off. I recommend Maya Nails in the marks work warehouse plaza.

The charged me $73 for unfinished nails. I couldn't stand to sit there any longer so once the manicurist was "done" I payed and left. Probably going to have to repaint them myself once I get home.

First and last time using this salon. Got acrylic nails done didnt even last 2 weeks. I have had nails for 18 years never have I had this problem. They would last 3 to 4 week. I asked for candied cane look she made the stripes up and down and could not even get them straight. Had people ask me if she was drunk they were so bad. They were going to use shellac without even asking me. Not worth what they charge at all.

worst experience EVER. went to get a set of acrylic nails, with a gift card i got for christmas. they not only tried to make me pay the extra taxes that they claim it was, they cut the skin around my nails, they put on shellac polish instead of the regular i had asked for. my set looks HORRIBLE, there are uneven spots throughout my entire set as well as they are uneven. an acrylic set should NOT be over $50. they are unsanitary, using tools to give pedicures and only RINSING them in the back sink. as well as the disrespect i got from the ”professionals” during my visit, laughing in my face. do NOT use this salon.

worst experience EVER! I will never return. first off they sat me down at a DIRTY table, with someone elses nail clipping ewwww. Nothing is clean or sterilized. they hurt, they are rude, and they look like pure utter crap! even the air brushing French manicure on acrylic nails is barely white, almost transparent. Im hoping to god I don't get an infection. Ladies beware!!! theres so many better places in Peterborough.

Always a bad experience. They rush you through. Once I had a pedi and mani and they did them both at the same time. The mani girl was all hunched over me and pedi girl was terrible. I was 9 months pregnant...not in a rush at all. I've been asked to vacate my drying fan way too soon, have had to vacate my massage chair and just stand there in line to wait for a fan. Really horrible place.

Absolutely horrible . Nails looked like garbage and the guy doing them tried to charge me an extra $15 to get them shaped differently than a square. Nails were SUPER thick, very ugly and were nowhere near my cuticle so it looked like blocks sitting on my nails. 10/10 do NOT recommend!!

Worst nails I have ever had ! Dirty tools, terrible work stations. I should have known better but I was in a pinch, about to start a new job and needed a fill after getting my nails done for a wedding a few weeks ago ( at another salon ). I’m now expecting to get Hepatitis! My cuticles are on fire! Never again. I am going back and demanding my money back tomorrow. I would have made my case today except I had to rush home to greet the kids from school. It wasn’t until I saw my nails in natural light that I saw how terrible they actually are ! Half painted and bumpy. My finger nails look like troll nails that were painted by a blind baboon! I paid $60 ....I feel like I’ve been robbed. Save your money people! Got us in quick. Neither of us had our cuticles cut and she managed to make me bleed as she was not careful with the dremel. After a thin layer of gel polish she did a second but it wasn't enough to make the polish opaque. Then the filed at the very end leaving the edges totally exposed and without polish. The shape of my nails are not consistent from finger to finger and one is even on an awkward angle. (Doesnt follow my natural nail) I saw when she wrote my invoice she added a $10 wax charge. (Which I did not receive.) She wrote it quickly while trying to cover it and then promptly shoved it in her drawer once telling me a price. (I didnt bother fighting, I just wont be returning) I saw another person come in and have a pedicure. When they left the foot tub was scrubbed with a brush but I did not see any cleaner used. Just the brush and water.

Paid $285 after a $15 tip. I wasn't highly impressed but in my field of work I rely on tips so I therefore tip back. This was for myself and my 2 daughters. 2 days later, my shellac has chipped. I should have read the reviews. I will not be back.

Had Pedicure and Manicure done today not even 12 hrs later Shellac has come off my fingernails. Very Angry this is the 2nd time for this charged me alot of money for what was done and tip I should not have left a tip polish on 3 spots on my fingers as well. This had to be my worst experience ever in a nail place. First of all I don't know if these people speak English; if they do they don't make any effort to have a conversation with their clients. They speak some language among themselves totally ignoring the client who is bringing them money. I found them very rude and expensive. I paid 45$ for a 10 minutes manicure, results I will do it myself next time instead of going there. I always tip at these places but there no,no,no, she didn't deserve it. I said to her face my nails look terrible and she ignore me completely. I am still mad for going there. I hope e few people read this before deciding where to go for nails. Worst nails I’ve ever had in my life. They didn’t use the right nail polish I asked for. They didn’t paint them all the way so in places it was clear and showing my regular nail and they did it file the under part of my nail so there is chuncks of acrylic left under them. Went for a pedicure last night and it was the worst I have EVER had! My feet still have a lot dry skin and the polish doesnt even co er my entire nail. To toenails and cut so short and completely uneven. I'm really not one to complain but honestly, dont waste your money at this place!

I went in to get my nails done on Wednesday. Got a shellac manicure. The nail tech sadly cut my left hand twice when cutting my cuticles, did not even do that good of a job cutting them and somehow made my nails look worse than if I did them myself! The index on my left also had a bubble in it which already chipped off, and I got glitter on my rings fingers and she didn’t even go all the way to other end of the nail!! The only thing she did okay with was shapping my actual nail. Will not be returning.
