Moon did a great job on my nails. Flawless set of gel coffin shaped nails with glitter tips. Price seemed a bit high considering that I only got a single color of glitter topcoat on them, but still happy with her work. The store however isn't the most clean, and the tools she was using looked pretty dirty. Hopefully they can improve on this.

This place is the most un-hygienic nail salon I have been to. They need to be shut down immediately. So dirty. No social distancing and lots of people in there at one time. NOT SAFE!! The waxing room has used paper from the waxing table just piled up on the floor instead of being thrown out. I advised the health board

I booked an appointment today for 12:30. It was one of the best experiences at a nail salon. They were very professional, and took their time on each nail to make sure it was the perfect shape. Made sure I liked what it looked like before finalizing the look. I got exactly what I asked for, looks even better than the reference photo! I definitely will return. Amazing job ladies!

BUSY place, definitely call ahead first! We booked an appt and my daughter still ended up having her nails done on a pedicure chair. Staff are nice! I got acrylic extensions and my nails ended up smudging about 10 minutes after I left. First time that’s ever happened. Could be my fault though for not going shellac. I wanted to try regular and won’t again!

I just moved to Bethany and I have been to a few nail spa places and this place Apple Nails I have to say is the BEST by far! Jess, is so friendly she welcomes you as you walk in making you feel you are so important. Her workmanship is top notch. I always walk out with a smile on my face. She always gets it down packed to what I want and like. All the staff there is terrific, I love them all so much and Moon is great, I like our chats. These girls have second to none customer service that I just don't have enough words to say about them. This place is extremely busy. I got appointment the same day, looks like they need business but it's always a rush job. From a distance everything looks fine but it's such a bad job. I dont think I will be going back. I went by myself was not with anyone else. Looks like owner is confused when they say , they asked me to wait etc. People at this place do work really hard, but if they are not given enough time to finish the job than obviously ot is going to be a rushed job. I realized my skin was glued to the nail, and the product was pit on my skin and dried on it now its pulling the edges of my nail bed. It's not just an unsatisfactory job anymore, it's really painful, its hurting. For sure I didn't pay for this. People working here are pleasant people but if they cant do the job properly, what's the point. I rarely write negative reviews but wrote this review because I would like to warn others to choose wisely.

great little place to go. I don’t typically leave reviews about nail salons (I have been to many) as I find them all to be very standard. I was very thrilled with this spot, I feel a bit bad as I am very shy and don’t typically talk to those I don’t know so I hope the ladies didn’t find me rude lol. Very nice with last hour walk ins. No rush was given to me or any of the other ladies that I noticed. I got the acrylic set. 3 polish colours and 21 little gems in total for $60+ tax. Which is an amazing deal! Most places charge $2-$5 per gem! Will defenitly be back and hope to be a regular there soon!

Amazing staff and an amazing place!! I drive all the way from Coburg because this is the only place that really takes care of my nails and makes sure they are beyond perfect!! If I had a suggestion for Apple, I would encourage the girls to give their names. It would make it less cold.

Got a pedicure and a set of acrylic nails. They both did an amazing job, but the lady who did my nails was especially talented. She free handed a couple of accent nails that look great. Edit: I went back for a second appointment and was left to sit for an hour while people who came in after me went ahead. I have no idea why. Sadly I will not be back.

Very well done, lots of stations so they can fit in lots of people.Well staffed for a Saturday. Had good music playing. They were cheerful. I had a nice massage in the pedicure chair. Was pleasantly surprised as we just moved to Peterborough and I had no idea where to go, just went by Google and bestthreerated. After a super stressful move across the country this made me feel much better and so much more at home here ❤️

I don't write many reviews unless I have a really good or really bad experience. This review definitely falls into the category of far exceeding expectations! I went to Apple nails on the recommendation of a co-worker who was raving about her first visit with Apple. From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed with the entire experience. The front staff were very professional, yet warm and friendly. I appreciated the clean, hip, but still very elegant vibe of the place. Apple clearly explained the entire process since it was my first time. Her confidence and skill made me feel totally at ease immediately. The procedure was virtually pain-free and I love the results. I will definitely be back!! and hope to try some of the other services, excellent job Apple!

Lily did my (regular) pedicure and (shellac) manicure - she was amazing! She took her time with the massage and my cuticles which I very much appreciate. She was careful with the paint and made sure I checked the colour before she kept going. The staff were all friendly and helpful and kind! I would definitely recommend it!

I have never written a review about a service that I have received, because I've never felt compelled to discredit any establishment on the internet. However, today I feel differently. I was from out of town looking for a quick Mani/pedi and was greatly disappointed after coming here. Please save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. My manicure was not properly finished, as the owner was eager to serve two walk-ins and the tech servicing me was in a hurry to finish. He ended up ruining a nail working too fast having already done a poor job. I left with polish on my feet that I took off later that evening and had my hands removed because it was such a disaster. Finally, take a walk around the place before you sit down. Take a look at the back sink, where stuff is hidden. It's plain gross. What sort of standards do we have here in Peterborough? Had I known how poor the service would be, the philth, and the animal they have roaming the salon, I would have stayed away.

I was looking for a nail place in peterborough while I'm studying here and apple nails did not disappoint. I got an amazing gel manicure and my friend's shellac designs also looked awesome. They are super talented here and can do any design you show them! I will continue to come here.

After just one week my shellac peeled off. I've never had this happen. Usually shellac is hard to remove. Secondly, since getting my pedicure there, my feet have been itchy and blotchy. Lastly, there is a dead bug or spider on the nail polish rack. Disgusting.

It was my first time attending Apple Nails it was amazing my nails came out better than I thought! The shape and colour was beautiful! The workers are friendly as well. Apple Nails has so many options of colours to select from, I would recommend going here! $30+ for acrylics for anyone wondering.

I don’t write reviews unless I have had a really great experience or unfortunately in this case poor. I made an appointment in the morning which they never recorded therefore when we got there we had to wait. Since they did not record our booking they did not have room for the 3 of us to get nails done at the same time which is why we decided to get our nails done. They are also not cleaning their tools and they are using the same files for every customer without wiping down. They are not following Covid protocols at all; not sanitizing stations, nail colour options or keeping 6’ apart/having plexy glass. Would not go back or reccomend.

Used to love this place so much i’ve been going here for 4+ years had no complaints until my recent nails. I had these acrylics on since Oct of this year and they were very out grown didn’t wanna go get a refill cause i wanted to have no nails for a while. When they finally decided to come off they used way to my glue that it ripped off my real nail and left it bleeding and bruised. They are so glued on that i still have 3 that will not come off no matter what i use was so not happy that it ruined my real nails and now they look like the picture below

decent experience or so I thought, I'm worried seeing reviews about how they don't clean their tools, loved my nails initially but my 60 but i would expect them to last longer than a week and a half, broken 2 already one from the bottom and one detached from the top and bent my whole nail back. I originally rated this place 5 stars but when I went back to get my nails removed (and made an appt to do so). It took an hour and a half. I was left with my hands in bowls while my manicurist took another client, for about 45 minutes. My hands are destroyed, and real nails destroyed. I was only helped after the 45 minutes because another manicurist (male) seemed to take pity on me... it shouldn't take 90 minutes to get nails removed. I am not sure why I was offered this appt if it was clearly too busy to accommodate?

The tech did a great job on my rather complicated nail design but she left my acrylic nails about three times thicker than they should have been to the point where you can visibly see that they are thick and round from the top. Not sure that I would return for acrylics

Used to absolutely love this salon came here several times for what I wanted done until I pre booked a pedicure and acrylics (the manicure was done as I was sitting in the chair getting my toes done and they made a mess all over my lap and it felt very rushed because the salon was overbooked) on Friday august 20th and the following Saturday the nail on my ring finger of my right hand came off because I got it slightly caught in the car door handle. No bleeding , my nail is fine, the artificial nail came completely off and when I went to the salon after it had happened and explained I would come back to get a fill and would pay for the fill but shouldn’t have to pay to have a new nail put on they told me because it wasn’t their fault they would have to charge me. Absolutely ridiculous and thought everyone should know how chintzy of a business this is. Wouldn’t even rate it one star if I had the choice.

I tried really hard to love this place. I went twice in 3 weeks. First, for a gel overlay on top of my natural nails and the second time for a shellac manicure. Almost all of my nails have broken off, which I brought up at my last appointment, but my nail tech ignored what I said. The morning after my manicure I already noticed cracks in my nails. I wouldn’t trust their gel … usually I can go 3-4 weeks between fills without an issue. During Covid I could even go longer. For whatever reason my nails have been breaking since going there. It’s a shame, because their designs/finishes are always on point.

I starting going to Apple Nails when I moved to Peterborough March 2019. I used to go to a place in Toronto for the last 16 years. I definitely love this place better. Helen is amazing and I love the fact she does 3-D. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Have been using this nail salon for acrylic nails 5+ years now. Always have a wide variety of colours/designs they can do. When I show them a picture of what I want they always do such a good job! It was a bit of a wait as it was really busy and seemed like they overbooked but still did a good job in the end! Cost 70 dollars even though I got acrylic filling but could be because I got an design on them

I was referred by few ladies that this was the place to go. Unfortunately l learned after many visits l was still walking out unsatisfied and would have to go home and shape my nails myself. After so manytimes of spending the money and constantly going home unsatisfied l started to speak up and nicely explained to the lady what my concerns were she was quite rude speaking to her coworker so nobody can understand and just pushed my hand down didnt massage or put cream on my hands and went to the front for me to pay.I have had 4 different staff do my nails and none of them could do a french manicure properly half my nail was white not just the tips like it should be, shaping was horrible everytime and each nail was different shape and thickness...way too thick looked awful. Definitely looking for a new place if any ladies know of somewhere that knows what there doing.
